Screening tests
We are now required to screen all patients who propose to freeze and store eggs. In particular these tests must indicate that you are clear of infections such as HIV (Aids), Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. If you've given blood, then your blood will have been routinely tested and we will accept evidence such as a letter confirming your blood donation. The results of any tests, whether administered by CARE or externally, must be less than one year old before the eggs are stored.
