Hiya,

Really positive actually. Its my birthday next friday and then DPs birtdhay in March and by then I should be ready to start on either March or April AF. I have to ring in a few weeks to make sure I am top of list. Alot of pressure been taken away as I haev to FREE cycles! I cant wait.

Been going to the gym alot and eating healthy etc so think that I am in a better place than I was last time. The only thing I am strugglinh eith it every time I think about it I get a little negative because I want it so bad and feel like its never going to work. I try taking five and talking to myself saying it is going to work and be positive and really feel it. Any tips on how you did the positive thinking?

You have given me so much hope im so pleased for you xxxx

Hope you both ok.

Guider - how are you? Feeling any symptoms yet? Have you still got your arm in a sling?!

Ellie - great news that you are in a positive place, it's so easy to get down and think the worst isnt' it. I'm with you Guider has given us lots of hope. Great that you get two free cycles too. I'm trying to keep positive as last time I struggled to relax and focus on me. Last time I was going through a stressful time at work and everytime I tried to do the Zita West relaxation CD which talked to you about focussing on the embryo embedding in the womb my mind was wondering to work issues and I really feel that this didn't help me. So now I'm worried that the same will happen this time. However, I've booked in for acupuncture with a therapist who treats IVF patients (recommended by Care Sheffield) so I'm hoping that this will do it for me. I've bought some relaxation and meditation cds but haven't tried them yet. Let me know how you go and maybe we can support one another.

I'm still on HRT tablets but hoping to start stimming w/c 15th Feb.

miss daisy, not long till stimming now
ellie - your time will be here before you know it

sympton wise for me, i still get occassional cramp type pains around my stomach, hardly noticable at all, if i wasn't so aware of everything having been through treatment i probably wouldn't even notice them
the only other thing i have noticed already (.)(.) are sensitive, i have had to change the towels as the ones we were using were slightly rough ones and even if they brushed the area it was almost unbearable, eg - when i am wrapping my hair from the shower it happens if the towel brushes it doesn't need to be when i was actually rubbing that area

as for relaxation and staying positive
it's almost impossible as at times we all feel like the dream is never going to happen
i started having accupuncture
she gave me some relaxation music sessions, if you want me to send you some let me have your e-mail and i'll send them on
i also used the zita west 'getting pregnant naturally' one before treatment and moved onto the other ones nearer to and during, i made sure that i found time to do one relaxation thing a day either zita or acupuncturist one (various lengths so could work it to my scheldule)

probably one of the main ways of keeping my sanity was talking to other people through websites who were/are going throug similar things

I've got the Zita West CD so I will try it again. I've also booked in for acupuncture and I'm going to Dr Zhao in Sheffield on Weds for my consultation.

How are you ellie? Any news on when you might start again?

Afm, started stimming tonight! The first stage really dragged this time and then this nxt bit will probably fly by, especially as I've got time booked off for acupuncture and tests and then I already had long w/e booked for this weekend as going on spa break with friends! Then week on fri I finish for 3 weeks! I have hardly been there this month and nxt month I will only be there for last week of march!! I am so excited, really really hope it works this time....

Miss daisy, bet your glad you started. It will all fly by and you will be looking at a BFP at the end of it. Its your time you will be following Guiders success!!!

Think ill be starting prob April AF. When I spoke to the first nurse she said march/ april but the one last week said April/ May. She said there is 2 people before me so not long. I can't wait.

Gudier, thanks for the relexation- not had chance to look at it yet or reply properly just jumped on quickly the other night and noticed you sent it so Thank you i appreciate it. Hope the preggo symptoms not too bad!

Hi Ellie and Guider

Just a quick update from me, I'm going in for EC on Friday! Can't believe it, I thought it would be Monday. It was only my day 6 scan today but lots of big follies and they reckon there are more as they couldn't get a good view on the scan! My lining is 9/1mm too, which is 2mm better than last time. I think the acu has really worked it's magic for me!

Ellie - great news that you will be starting in April, February is almost over!

Guider - how are you doing, what is the date of your scan, it can't be long now?

GIRLS !!! I cant beleive what has happened to me! So yesterday I was due on it dditn come and for the last 4 days I have been in very bad pain, had bad constipation and sore () () so I just thought I was AF was on her way.

Anyway this morning at 2.15 I woke up and no af so did a test and WOO HOO its positive ! I went to local hosp they said too early to scan but think it was implantation and becuase the pain has now gone they told me see GP.

Im over the moon but very very very scared and worried incase its not real or going to end for me!!! the pains have gone but I felt stupid asking the Dr whether my body is making it up that I am preggo because this is just6 a miracle!!!!!!!!!!111 xxxx

I am soooooooooooo pleased for you. Mother nature is on your side.

When are you going to see your GP .... I would have been waiting at their door when they opened. You must be ecstatic. Keep us posted on what happens and how you get on.

Aww its so weird that it has happened for me! Things I have done different is hammering the gym nearly every night, planning my wedding and reading the key by Joe Vitale and watched the dvd the secret over and over. Put me and DP on the marilyn glenville tabs. Maybe just a coincidence but I just cant get over it. Oh and I gave a homeless man a sandwich from the shop and a cream egg! maybe thats my gift for helping somebody lol.

I am at docs 9.20am I just dont want to get my hopes up too much yet!

Yes this is the lucky thread after your EC you will be pregnant in no time!

Im sligthly paranoid about this cramping im getting not had it all day but its here now but im so consipated I think it might be that!

Sorry not been on for a while, had some family problems and we have put our cycle back a month due to a bereavment in the family Sad

so are now due to start down reggin on next period which is due 26 March.

Hiya,

Im fine had the Methertrexate (cant spell it) on Friday and so far I feel ok. Physically I feel ok but emotionally still a bit hurt. I was just glad to get it over with now. I just wish it hadn't have happened I was doing fine being positive and then this happened but its done now and I just want to get back to normal.

Oh Em im so sorry about your bereavment.

Well lets hopr your AF gets here bang on time and start down reggin. I think thsi time will be the one for you. You have had enough bad luck now its time for some good luck! xxxxxx

Em- yep I have decided I am going to cycle, eventually when they sort me out! Had that Methertrexate on Friday but my bloods gone right up so looks like its not flaming worked! had another test today so fingers crossed its come down but of not either another injection or surgery!

looks like i missed some exciting news
congratulations Miss Daisy - how are things going with you?

i am sat home alone feeling sorry for myself as i am full of cold and DH has been away all week

so how are things with everyone else?
i seem to have been really hectic which is why i haven't been around for a while
i took 27 girls to PGL - abseiling, climbing, zipwire etc, etc, etc - i would normally have been the first up there joining in, but had to stand back and watch this time. I spent a few weeks going to Brownies and Guides with a sling during the 2WW and just after so was able to use that as an excuse, i told the leader going so that they knew the truth, and they were all really helpful, the girls were all great as well as i told them that due to my shoulder problems i couldn't lift or carry anything, so they all helped with my luggage etc.

last weekend we were at my parents, they still don't know as we had gone to celebrate their 40th anniversary, so i didn't want to step on their toes, if you know what i mean (even if my sister managed to turn upto my wedding in a white dress!!!)
so i had to be friendly and helpful to 35 people, handing out food, washing up etc, luckily 2 people i knew well when i used to live there didn't know many of the other guests (family and friends from when my parents were at school) so they were happier helping out with things otherwise i think i may have collapsed

we told my great aunt before we went as we were staying over with her and taking her down, then we told my great aunt and uncle when we returned, he gets stressed about everything so i didn't dare tell him before we went.

this weekend we are going to DH parents to tell them, and next weekend (easter) we will be telling my parents.

just hoping that MIL feels in the mood to look after me as i am feeling exhausted and have already told her we will have to bring a pile of washing with us, she phoned yesterday and said that i sounded awful, don't some people know how to make you feel wonderful!
