Hi ladies..im due to have my trasfer this week and am so desperate to be in my 2ww already! lol...i was just wondering if there are any others testing in FEB...maybe we can start a little group! i think i will be testing around the 25th of feb

Good luck with your ET this week! I'm currently in the 2ww. Had 2 embies transfered last thursday. OTD is the 17th Feb. Let me know how you get on. Smile

. How have you been feeling since ET? Did you have one or two transfered? I'm feeling ok. Bit bloated, sore boobs from the pessaries. I'm hoping this will be third time lucky. I cycled twice last year with bfn's so hoping for some luck this year!

We had et on the same day! Funny how we have different otd's! I had 2 5 day blastocysts tranferred and feeling ok.. a bit bloated but nothing else really. Have done very little since et. We have been ttc since 2002 and had 3 iui bfn and about to start ivf in may 07 but nat bfp!!! ds is 2. had 2 iui bfn sept-nov 09 so here we are! How long ago did you have your previous go's? Fingers crossed for your 3rd time lucky baby.

Hi swammers. Wow! 2 5 day blasts is great. Glad you're feeling ok. Big congrats on your dd.
Me and DH have been ttc since 2006, so nearly 4 years now. Started Our 1st cycle last May/June 09, 2nd cycle Sept/Oct 09 - On all my cycles i have not been a great responder to the meds and don't produce many eggs. So very grateful to get to the 2ww again, even if it's the hardest wait ever!

Can't understand why your otd is the 20/2 either and mine 17/2?? Oh well i don't suppose it really matters as long as it's the result we want Smile

Sounds familiar. Great that you had two eggs - when was ec for you? I was on lp and started dr 21/12 and stimms on 13/1 and was v slow responder...thought they might cancel at one point!! Had 6 eggs on ec, but only 4 mature! I know what you mean about being grateful to get to 2ww as that's exactly how I feel! Didn't have any symptons when I was pregnant b4, so trying not to think too much about what's going on. Are you off work at the mo?

Hiya,
my EC was 1st Feb.I was on the sp for all 3 cycles. So no d/r for me. My First cycle i got 6 eggs. (2 transf, 1 frostie) Second 5 eggs but only 2 mature, (1 transf but poor quality). This time 5 eggs all mature, (2 transf, 1frostie). The dr put me on a short flare protacol for this cycle as it's supposed to be better for poor responders. Although i still didn't produce any more eggs hopefully the embies are better quality. Taking quite a few meds at mo.

I am off work. Had all last week off sick. I had a few days holiday booked for this week, so probably going back in on Thursday. Going to GP tomorrow though to get a sick note just incase i change my mind. My job could be quite physical at times. DH thinks i should stay off. I'll see..

Hi All

Could I join you??? I had ET yesterday and my OTD is the 22nd so were all due to test around the same time.

I had 6 mature eggs, 5 fertalised, 1 didn't make it so i've had two put back and been able to freeze the other 2.

Fingers crossed for us all to get BFP's !!!!!!!

Maroon is transfer still set for Thurs??

Hi Jobey

I'm feeling fine keep having a few twinges and bloated but otherwise fine.

To tell you the truth I really don't know what to do with myself !! i've tried to get into a book but my mind keeps wandering. My sister came today with about 10 dvd's i've not seen yet so i'll try to get into them !!! I saw somewhere that writing a list of something to do every day whilst in the 2ww helps !! So if you have any suggestions then please let me know !!

I too am on my third cycle and I was on the SP, I did the long one the other times which seemed to go on forever !!

Hi Helen,
so far i've been off work since last Monday. Hope to go back on thursday.(Using a few days holiday this week) I've been taking it fairly easy. Doing a bit more round the house today. Not hoovering up though, dh can do that - lol .

It's hard to keep busy isn't it? I'm making sure i go out for a walk for a paper/magazines to get some fresh air. I've done a bit of cooking and making a job lot to freeze. Might do a bit more tomorrow. My sister is off work tomorrow so will get out of the house, maybe even go to the pictures. I'm also on the computer all the time and spend ages on here Smile

I've even been doing suduko's. Cannot stand most of the tele in the day. Quite liking heir hunters in the morning though Wink

I know what you mean about the tele it can get a bit boring.. My husband and I run a pub and this is the longest i've not been in the thick of it.. (since tuesday) i'll go down on Friday night and just potter about. They said it should be fine it's not like i'll be lifting anything and i'll just take my time.

Hope you dont mind me dropping in on here, I have had EC 28 Jan collected 16 eggs, had 2 transfered back on 31 Jan..... I have a week left to go in the 2ww Otd 15 FEb. I feel so nervous dont want to be disapointed .... same as everyone i guess lol..... I have my fingers crossed for you all xxxxx

my otd 17th, so not far behind you. Feeling very nervous aswell. Felt more confident yesterday but for some reason today i'm having a bit if a wobble. My boobs aren't hurting really today which i'm paranoid about and keep proding them- lol.

Helen, hope you are feeling ok? Have you thought of anything to do today?

Jobey - Try not to think of symptoms too much hun - it's so easy to read into everything!! Saying that, I changed my ds nappy last night and had to run to loo as I felt so so sick and have had a really wird taste in mouth....but maybe trying to imagine it!!!

Bex - Welcome and wow!!! 16 eggs that is so great well done! Looks like you will be the first to test!!

Helen - Welcome - I'm at Notts too!! How are you feeling today?

AFM - Feeling very bored and trying not to think about whether I have a strage taste in my mouth!! Have a good day all..1 day closer!!

hey ladies!! we got a nice little grou pstarting dont we!! thats so great! well im still waiting for my call to tell me how the thaw went...im still hoping my ET is thurs..but im booked in tom at 3 just in case..but now im thinking i just hope they make it through the thaw!!! im on pins and needles to say the least

i had 19 eggs collected oh gosh i cant remember now..i think 15 were mature..8 fertilized..but i was only left with 6...so i have 6 day one embies..they were frozen on the day because i was at risk for OHSS..so blah..its taken me ages to get through this FET..i have spent 48 days down regging! my lining was too thick so i had to wait for two periods within my Fet cycle..so im tired! lol cant wait for the 2ww! and to top it all off im moving abroad this weekend! but plan to stay at my moms house for a while..atleast i can chill in my 2ww...DS just turned 2..so im wondering how im gunna get through without lifting him...not sure about that.. this is my 2nd attempt at ivf im just wondering if its too good to be true to have them both be successful first time around!..time will tell! been doin alot of praying!

swammers- im sure you are bored lol..the2ww DRAGS..the longest 2 weeks ever for sure! wow 2 blasts..thats great...im sure ur odds are so good!!

helen- i remember you from around the other threads..so glad u made it to ur 2ww!

jobey- will be counting down with you till the 17th! your already one week gone! hoep the last week flies by!

anyways nice to meet you all! i will make sure i keep popping in! hopefully we will get a good amount of bfps on here!

Hi guys

just wondering if i can join you? Im new to this site and also new to CARE as had 2 failed NHS goes 2008. My ET was sat 6th Feb and my OTD is 22nd Feb. I had 2 embies transfered, grade 2, 8 cell and 5 cell. Only managed to get 6 eggs and out of them only 2 fertilised so feel very lucky to have got this far.

Would really value support from others going through the same torturous 2ww.

Were growing quite fast now how exciting !!

Maroon - fingers crossed the thaw goes well, are they expecting to do the transfer tomorrow then if they've asked you to go in ??

Bexyboo - Welcome!!! how have you been getting on during the first week??

Jobey - well i've polished!! DH is hoovering at the moment (bless) he's not got a clue when it comes to anything domesticated however he is trying!!

Swammers - I know what you mean about the funny taste in your mouth i read somewhere about that and I keep thinking the same.

Funfergo - Welcome!!! - It's great to have someone with the same OTD!!! How have you been getting on since transfer?? I'ts hard to do nothing isn't it !!

AFM - well boobs really sore, but they were like that before transfer other than that nothing apart from eating like a horse (which is not good)!! Oh and I keep going to put things in the fridge that don't belong there!!! lol

hey ladies..got the call...all 4 embies thawed perfectly..they will call me tom at 10am to tell me if they are all dividing well..if not i go in for ET tom ..if they look good ET will be THURS! YAY one hurdle down..many more to go!

Swammers, weird taste in your mouth and feeling sick.... ooh that sounds good (iykwim). I'm imagining that i have all the symptoms going.

Maroon, nice to hear from you. Hope that you get the phonecall soon about your embies. Poor you having to D/R for all that time. Must have felt like a lifetime. Will they defrost all 6 embies and choose the best 2? Can the re freeze embies aswell??
Moving abroad aswell, you don't do things by halves. Sounds lovely though. There's no reason why this wont happen for you again first time hun. Everything crossed for you.

Would you mind if join you guys in the 2WW? I had my ET last Wed (3rd FEB) and my OTD is 19th Feb.

I had 2 grade 2 embies put back in and 2 to freeze.

Maroon - I remember you from my first time - looks like we were both very lucky and now have 2yr old sons!! Fingers crossed we are again this time - I, like you am thinking can we really be this lucky 2nd time around? I really hope so!!

Are people thinking they may test earlier than their OTD?

Helen, yeah great to have someone test on the same day! my boobies have been killing me since stimming and i keep gettinq twinges but no AF pains. Care told me to get back to my normal routine after 24 hours but to take it easy so ive just been pottering. My last cycle i took to my bed and didnt move for 2 weeks which was a nightmare and did no good so wont be doing that again.
My friends are picking me up tonight and taking me out to tea the only thing is i have to give my ultogestan!! so will have to be up the back door! is anyone else on ultrgestan?? how fiddly are they??

How are you all girls doing?? are you doing any thing specific? any tips for me?? i soo want this cycle to work as i am sure you all do too, god this is sooo hard isnt it
