Hello Everyone,
Mystique - glad to hear that everything settled back down and nothing to worry about. I had spotting at 5,6,7 weeks but stopped then. Wasnt nice, was very scary.
I have been having some weird pains. have read that around 12 weeks this can happen ( i am twelve weeks finally on Friday, yipeeeee). Most of the time its like a dull ache in my right groin/bikini line. It might be ligament pain?
Today i had just one sharp little shooting pain inside, it was sharp but went straight away. All these little niggles, i am so in tune with my body right now!!
Pupsi, Dubai sounds brilliant, have the best time.
We went out for a nice meal for Valentines day, they gave us champers on arrival, had a tiny few sips and then got a really bad head so no more, hee hee.
My NHS scan is Wednesday 23rd Feb, at which point i will be 12 weeks and 5 days. Feels like it is taking forever.
I have bought a 2nd hand fetal doppler for £20 off Juliette on swapping and shopping. waiting for that to arrive tho I know it could be 14 weeks before I can hear anything. Hopefully it will be easy for me to find with there only being 1 baby in there!
I start the day off with a flat-ish tummy, just a small bump, but by the end of the day after food i have a real bloater on me!! haha.
I am living in leggings right now.

Hey Girls
Scan went really well!
Baby was very active & jumping around alot, which made me laugh!
They dated my pregnancy at 11+6 - EDD: 02/09/10
Felt great seeing the baby move!
Hope everyone else is ok? who has their scan next?

I have lost of the scans sorry and it seems that not all of the ladies from the beginning are still on here, what a pitty ;-(
I have my scan on 02/03
May be all of you let us know when is next scan due and we could update ?????
I feel so hungry but do not know what to eat that I'm not getting to fad

Hi all,
Mystique so glad the scan went so well. It's great seeing them moving around isn't it. I found I've been really relaxed since my 12 week scan. Hope it's the same for you too.
I can feel my little bubba moving around lots now... all through the day at intervals. It's a weird feeling but great! Can't wait till it's strong enough for DP to feel from the outside. Don't think it will be long.

Sorry ladies I'm stil here, just so busy don't get much time to post these days. Thank god we're all approaching 12 weeks (tomorrow for me), I just hope it means my MS will soon go. I'm sick every single day and feel sick all the time.It's horrible!
I have my next scan on Thurdsday 24th so I'll be 12w5days.
I have a doppler but haven't heard anything yet, maybe soon though!!

Hello Everyone,
How are we all feeling? hope you all had a good weekend.
Pupsi my EDD is 2nd Sept so you can add that on to the list.
I feel much better too, have done since about 10 weeks. Great to feel a bit more normal again at last
I have my scan wednesday, cant wait only 2 sleeps. We got the doppler through on Friday which was great as we then spent all weekend listening to the babies heartbeat. Best thing i have ever done getting that! so reassuring. I can imagine it would be difficult if you were trying to pick up twins and two sets of hb's as it did take a bit of digging to find the hb at first. Kept on picking up my own and a whooshing noise which i gather is the placenta, but we found it and our eyes lit up when we heard the fast "galloping horse" noise we knew it was the baby then
EBS i hope you feel better soon! not good feeling grotty. Are you using plenty of ultrasound gel with doppler and have you got it quite low towards your pubic bone? It took ages the first time but now we know roughly where he/she is its a bit easier to find.
irish - good luck for the scan tomorrow - let us know how you get on!
Back to work today, at least the days go quicker when you are busy. Sorry & hello to anyone i have missed.

I'm not due a scan now till 22nd March when I will be 21 weeks! 4weeks to go!
My edd is 4/8/11
Have my 2nd MW appt on Thursday! Not too sure what to expect from that!

hi everyone!
scan went ok-baby is fine! he was jumping about and rolling around! ultrasonographer wasn't very nice lady so we didn't get to see baby much. she also couldn't do the NT so back on monday for another go. apparantly my bladder was empty and baby was moving too much! hopefully we get someone else then!! the midwife at the hospital was soooo lovely-i fell in love with her there and then!
really good to see baby-feel more like i'm pregnant now and not just thinking i am, if you get what i mean!
i'm starting to eat less now-i have no colon so food backs up really quick for me and by the afternoon i feel really bloated (sri if tmi!). need to buy some clothes now!!!!! and we can accept a free cot from my friend!!
telling family at weekend and friends on monday after Nt
hope today went good for you kp and that everyone else is ok!

| Hello everyone, sorry i've not updated you sooner had no internet on my phone, have been lost with out it no facebook either lol. Scan went great! Got some lovely pics an the pip was kicking its leg upwards, looks like its got long legs already! I'm quite tall. So excited everything feels even more real now. Got my twenty week scan april 14th. Shall we start a new thread in bumps babies an beyond? Has everyone had their twelve week scan now? Hope everyone is ok, kp x x |

Hi all,
Glad your scans went well Irish and KP.
Irish when I had my 14week/NT scan our ultrasonographer seemed really off too - I got told I hadn't drunk enough and the baby was asleep in the wrong position so got sent off to eat, drink and walk around. She was quite blunt and said if that didn't work we wouldn't be able to have the NT scan as it was the last day I could have it. When we went back 1/2 hour later the baby had woken up and moved around and she was much nicer and explained everything really well. Seems very hit and miss how they are with you. Hoping whoever does our scan on Monday (21 weeks anomally scan) is nice.
Quite excited that we should be able to find out the sex on Monday but also a little nervous. Fingers crossed all is well. I am getting really strong movements now though and can see my belly moving when it kicks hard so am assuming that is a good sign!
Are we on a new thread on bumps, babies and beyond yet? Haven't been on for a little while and there are so many threads on there I wasn't sure if I missed one.
How is everyone getting on?

Hello Everyone
I had my scan Dating scan / NT scan today but unfortunantly I was already 14 weeks and 3 days and so we could not do the NT scan naymore. I knew it .........
But the scan lady said it looks al ok and good as I burst out in tears, still not happy ..........
So next scan on 14/04 for the Deatails scan so I hope that the baby is ok.
It was sweet to see the lemon (as one of my apps on my phone siad in weeke 14 you are a size of a lemon) and she/he looks like my DD at that stage

i'm lost too there's too many threads!!
when is your sexing scan?
my scan was ok the other day-still couldn't dit cos baby jumping around to much and then went to sleep in the wrong position! have to have bloods at 16 weeks!
am 14 weeks now-just a small bump now and huge boobies!! and some extra midriff padding!
how does the movement feel? must be wierd!!

Hi Irish and Pupsi,
Shame they couldn't do your NT scans in the end. I haven't heard of many people where it happens smoothly first time but they don't seem to warn you up front. My midwife didn't flag to me how tricky it is for them to see what they need to. Seems the little bubbas are either really wriggly or asleep in the wrong position a lot of the time.
Irish, our sexing scan is on Monday!!! Very excited but also a little nervous as they do all the anomally checks too.
The movements do feel weird. At first it's very subtle like little flutterings and you question if you're feeling it. It feels like someone is tickling you from the inside out. Now mine are much stronger though. Often makes me jump. Sometimes I have to put my hand on it as feels like someone moving your insides around. I can see my belly twitching now when the kicks are really hard which I find really cool!
My bump suddenly got bigger quite quickly after 14 weeks so your small bump probably won't be small for much longer. The boobies just keep growing too! I've had to buy loads of maternity clothes this week while on holiday as even my bigger baggier normal clothes don't fit any more. Much more comfortable now and because the clothes fit the curves and bump I look obviously pregnant now.
