Hi
Hope you wont mind me posting on this thread as I have for the past year taken a step back from the BB but I too Im thinking of baby no2 and although my decision isn't set in stone I would like to join a thread if thats ok.
The reason why I cant decide is because although my DH would dearly love another one I found being a mum difficult in the early days if Im to be honest. I always hoped it would come naturally. I love my DS dearly and its now that I am thinking of having another and giving him a sibling and with friends and family having their 2nd/3rd or currently are pregnant I am starting to feel broody and I am considering trying again... but naturally first.
I wish everyone on here lots of luck. I think its lovely to know a natural miracle 'can' happen even if the Dr's say the odd's are against you. If it doesn't work naturally then of course its off onto the IVF rollercoaster we go again.
Congratulations to Smallkellie too. Good luck on wednesday xx

Me neither, don't know what my cycle is up to last month 25 this month 30 is it agnus castus that is supposed to help reglulate your cycle?
Onwards and upwards we have had 1 NM there will definatly be others, I have bought a load of internet pg tests so I can do them just before af to stop me getting my hopes up.
What supplements is everyone taking?
Fingers crossed everyone

Feb wasnt my lucky month either. Lets hope March is, but not holding my breath! An old work mate of mine told me she is 15 wks pg yesterday. I know she started ttc in 2005, the year she got married, which was year after i started ttc when i got married. Shes just turned 40, i knew she had struggled to get pregnant and when i asked how she was getting on with it a few years ago, she told me she didnt want kids! I knew she did though so im made up for her that shes finally expecting. I dont know if she had a helping hand such as ivf as she hasnt said! It may well be a natural miracle!
Congrats to smallkellie, hope your luck rubs off on the rest of us.
My neice is due on 27th March, this will be her 2nd baby girl. My work mate who is 6 months pg with her 2nd left work the other week which im kinda glad about as i was finding it harder and harder to see her growing bump! Somedays id sit at my desk and cry but pulled myself together when i looked at Lewis' picture and reminded myself how lucky i am already. Weve just booked a holiday to Lake Garda in May so looking forward to that and im keeping myself busy making Lewis a birthday card to be shown on Cbeebies and its only 8 wks til he turns 2 so lots to plan
Hope everyones had a good wkend.
Louise - im taking zita west vitamins but blooming expensive, cost me £150 for 3 months supply!

Hi ladies,
Sorry I have not been on this thread recently but our laptop got a virus and went off to be cleaned - grrrrrrr!!! Am using my husbands work laptop now as I find typing on my phone too fiddley!
Sorry to those who got AF's this month. I'm in the 2 wk wait, and although I always secretly hope its worked I have to be realistic this month and expect the worst because we only did the deed twice before ovulation as hubby went overseas when I needed him -another grrrrrr!!!!
I bumped into my accupuncturist today (fate??? I haven't seen her since DS2 was conceived about 2 yrs ago) and we talked about trying naturally. I asked how successful she thought it would be for hubby to go and have treatment, and she said she could almost be certain she could make a difference in just 6 weekly sessions. So that is the next plan. I've just got to convince my husband!!!! I loved going when we had IVF but he is a bit 'shy' about these things......
Good luck Smallkellie for tomorrow. I have got everything crossed for you
Hope the rest of you are all well and thinking positively
lol Bubbles xxx
ps- can someone explain the purpoe of angus catus and where you get it from. I'm already taking preconception tablets (so is hubby) but if there is anything else that will help, I'm willing to try!!!! |

Hi ladies,
Hope you're all well, thought i'd just gate crash while you're on the subject of supplements.
Mr Patel told my dh to take Menavit to help will low sperm count and poor everything else. You have to get them sent over from Australia but are meant to be great! Just thought it worth mentioning.
Good luck to all!

Hi
Lorna great to hear from you again x
Smallkellie hope everything goes really well on wednesday
Kitty your holiday will be a nice break
Louise I have been thinking about the due date of my last m/c. It's not till july for me but I know how rubbish they are (((hugs)))
Wishupon sorry it wasn't your month
Bubbles I loved accupuncture but just can't justify the money as both times I got pregnant naturally I wasn't having it.
I have not been on here for a bit as honestly feel a bit guilty. This month I avoided DTD when I think I ovulated because just didn't feel quite ready for another baby and that makes me feel really guilty. we 100% want another baby but we are just so busy at the minute with us both working from home/ setting up new businesses and having 2 pre-school age children.
I wish we could just say will wait another 10 months then try and get pg straight away but we just can't do that. I turn 30 this year and I worry if I don't try right now we might not have another but at the same time I know if we both work really hard this year we can set up our future. Also I just had my fsh done and it was 6.6 is that ok?

Brilliant news you must be so relieved, not long till next scan as well. How exciting for you.
Bought some agnus castus, how many did you take as it says 1 to 3 a day also got a proper pre conception supplement as I was just taking folic acid. Feeling quite pro active today.
Emerald I know how you feel some months I think is this what we want, when its been a challenging day then other months I feel the despirationof wanting another child. I hope I don't sound selfish as I know lots of you would give anything for 2 children.
Been to see my accupuncturist she suggested asking for clomid to hopefully help things along.

Hi Louise,
Didn't realise you were trying again, good luck getting a natural bfp it sounds like you are doing absolutely everything you can and it's happened before so I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Keep positive! Lovely pic of your boys, must be a second child thing, Daniel is definitely more of a monkey than James ever was! Don't think I could actually cope very well with three (!!) but it doesn't stop me wanting another, never goes away does it?! I've tried agnus castus in the past, it's meant to balance your hormones so apparently regulates your cycle too although Mr Lowe advised against taking it but can't remember why, maybe just while having ivf.
Anyway, hope to be reading your good news when I next nip on, we'll have to meet up again soon for a catch up,
Good luck to all of you and congratulations to you pregnant ladies,
Anna x |

Hi girls,
Wish - I have endo and am a poor responder don't know what my bloods are like as not had them tested for years, dh has a low count as well. I've had 3 natural pregnancies now and 3 ivf my m/c consultant said I should consider myself as fertile but it doesn't feel like it. My periods have been up and down since the last m/c so not sure what my bodies up to.
Not booked to see the gp yet going to see how we get on this month first.
Hi Anna good to hear from you, not sure I can manage 3. How is work going I cannot even imagine working and fitting everything in at least you get the holidays.
Was reading Lizzy janes post about the duo fertility monitor might look into it.
Finn wants the I pad so had better go.

Louise,
When I restocked with agnus castus this weekend, it says not to take it if pregnant, BF or trying to conceive. I dread to think what it would do, but obviously it's not something you want to be taking whilst actively TTC.
Fingers crossed for you all X

Hi, I wondered if I could join you?
Me and DH want to try for baby no.2 as soon as possible as he is 42 this year and does not want to be an old Dad. My Lo is 7 months and I am still BF but my AF still not shown up yet, but I am hoping that changes soon. DH wants us to try naturally as he does not want to go through the IVF/ICSI roller coaster again.
We had to have ICSI before due to motility, but since LO came along DH has pretty much stopped drinking, got really healthy and lost 6 stone - so we are hoping this makes a difference!!
Well done Smallkellie - you must be so pleased!!!
Anyone with advice for BF and AF returning?
Good luck everyone

Louise, I think you can take agnus castus for the first half of your cycle and then leave it for the luteal phase. Acupuncture will do the trick regarding hormone balance anyway.
Best of luck

Hiya how is every one doing, good i hope.
JH - how good is that, your DH lost all that, dose he take vits, my DH started takeing well man conception when I was pregnant with max.
LOUI5E- Iam fine went to the midwife for my booking in last monday they couldent belive I was back so soon, I will of had 3 babies in 3 years, got my next midwife on tuesday when I have my bloods done and find out when my 12 week scan is, as for the angus catus I took them, It just says on mine dont take when pregnant or BF and from ovulation I was doing those cheap HPT just in case I got a BFP, I only took them for about 5 weeks all together.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THIS MONTH. xx |
