Hi girls
I haven't been on here for ages and feel cheeky asking for your help, but I'm panicking a bit.
I was 12 weeks on Friday, and have just been to the loo and noticed some brownish discharge. Not much, but enough to worry me. I finished my meds on Friday and now I'm worried that now I'm off the support that something awful is happening.
Can anyone reassure me if this is normal???
Thank you to anyone who can help.

Hi hun, i had this and like you i got myself in a right state! but don't panic, brown blood is old blood and i was told that they don't worry about it unless it's alot or red, it's prob just things getting in place and sooo many women have this at some stage in pregnancy it really is quite normal, like i said i had it and im sat here now with 8 week old twins xxx |

Thank you! I'm trying to keep myself calm and not go to the loo every 3 seconds. I thought knicker watch would be finished by now!! I've got a scan on Thursday so I'm sure that will put my mind at rest too.
Thank you again and congrats on your twins!!

Moggy, I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry bleeding with ivf pregnancies seems to be really common, I had a big bleed at 13 weeks and on and off bleeding till about 20 weeks and my ds was fine, he's a strapping two year old now. If your concerned or it gets worse give ur midwife a call x
Good luck xx

Moggy - just as ther others have said, I had bleeding at exactly 12 weeks, my 7 months old is now asleep in his rocker!! I was told to put my feet up and relax and take it easy - easier said than done I know!! We ended up getting a private scan so we could be seen quicker and check all was okay - and it was, we never found out the reason for the bleeding!!
Good luck x x |

Thank you everyone for your reassuring replies. There hasn't been anymore since so I may have overreacted slightly but it's quite a frightening sight! I'm stating positive and am sure everything is ok.
Thank you again.

Hi all
I just wanted to give you lovely ladies that helped me out on Monday a quick update.
Had some bright red blood on Tuesday so obviously was very worried, but went for my scan yesterday, and I have a very active baby with a lovely strong heartbeat. They said my placenta is quite low, and that is the only reason they could see for the spotting, nothing else at all to be worried about.
Thank you all again so much, you were a massive comfort.
