Hi Lisa, Ayla!
I had transfer of 1 top quality blastocyst on Sunday. Was given a otd of 9th November, which is a bit ott imo, so I will be testing around 4th or 5th.
I'm feeling quite uncomfortable today, so maybe the pesseries are making me bloat too? Also, my breasts hurt a lot, which must also be down to the pesseries.
Good luck girlies! |

Don't be daft, webbo, that's what we're here for! let it all out.
I'm feeling pretty awful today myself. Everything just aches/hurts. Can't describe it properly. It feels tight, or maybe scrunched into a ball, or something! Stretched out on sofa with one of my cats snuggled on my legs.
Hurrah for the 2WW!?! |

Thanks Sarah. I don't seem to be having any side effects from the pessaries other than I am a proper misery guts. Keep getting a slight twinge around the appendix area which is scaring me to death that it's going ectopic again but I guess it's a bit early and I'm over sensitive.
Ginge's-monkey - Congrats on the 2ww. Totally relate to how you are feeling hence ny kick up the bum post I put on the 2ww forum.
Clairebeary - Lol, don't we all analyse every little twinge and symptom. I woke up the other morning feeling sick as a dog but put it down to being hungry though I have never in my llife woke up feeling hungry?! But I think it's way too early to get any symptoms like that anyway? Time is most definately dragging!
AFM - still trying to find my PMA and struggling a bit. I kind of feel if I prepare now for failure, it won't hurt so much when it actually happens? I need to stop though as it's upsetting my DP who is nothing but positive. Hope you're all well today xx |

Hi Ladies
I hope you don't mind me joining you although my OTD is on the 29th October.
I had a 6 day blast (FET) on the 19th hence why I only need to wait 10 days before I test.
I had a tiny bleed on Monday and I am pinning my hopes on that being implantation bleeding but after 2 failed cycles already I can't get positive about anything so I am on board with you Webbo. My DH hasn't a clue what to say to me so he generally keeps out of my way which is actually fine by me.
I hate these pessaries as they are giving me period type pains constantly so I don't know whether they are or not, it's driving me mad
Anyway I wasn't going to join a thread this time as it hurts when other people are getting their BFP around me and I can't understand why it couldn't be me but I am driivng myself around the bend not having someone to talk to.
I am just going to have a nice warm bath now to see if that will help with my tummy pains so good luck to everyone and speak soon
Jo x |

Thought I'd bring this over from my last cycle, I hope it doesn't make you all as paranoid as me
1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT
this is what happens in a 5dt :
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &

Hi Jomosh - a real pleasure to have you with us and thank you for posting the update regarding stages - I was actually wondering about that yesterday ironically but that's answered my question - thank you.
Congratulations on your ET - sounding good with a 6 day blast!! If the bleed you had was minimal and hasn't been back since, that is also sounding positive!! Lots of good luck vibes coming your way xx
I'm glad that you have chosen to join a thread and a little honoured that you chose this one. I think it does help. I have been able to rant, laugh, cry and chat to other ladies, all of whom totally understand where I am coming from without criticism and that is priceless.
Like you, my DP says he understands but he doesn't, not fully so it is really helpful to know that there are people on here who "have your back"
I haven't had a single symptom with the pessaries? Other than foul moods but that might just be me in general! Lol. I hope the bath worked and do pop on regular for a natter. xx |

Hi Jomosh & webbo
I had an awful day on Tuesday with cramps and twinges and pain, and I felt really low and negative. But since then, other than the constant boob-ache, I have nothing at all. So I worried then about the symptoms and now I worry about the lack! Can't win. My DH is being pretty good, and we've both pretty much had enough now! But still, they never quite understand fully, do they?!
Thanks for the 5dpt list, I was only just looking at the other one and trying to work things out. So, if I had a 5day transfer on Sunday, does that mean I could test on Tuesday?!
I know what you mean about it being hard when others get a bfp and you don't. The worst part about this time, being my 3rd go is everyone else saying "third time lucky" all the time. I know they mean to be nice and positive, but it doesn't actually help.
Ah well, must keep busy.
Hugs all round! |

Hi Sarah
Sorry you're having a bad time with the pains. Like you say, worrying about having no symptoms then worry when there are some. I'm still having none at all so it makes me feel low and worried as I'm getting nothing, though I do have to buck up a little bit as it has started to affect my DP which is not fair after all he has been through.
I guess people say that to you as they don't know what else to say but you're right, it doesn't help much, nor does it make you feel any better.
I am so switched off at work it's unreal. I've hardly done anything in 3 days!! Can't concentrate and realy don't want to be at work at all right now but hey ho - we plod on.

Hi Ladies
Can I join you too? Hi to Sarah as we were on the cycle buddies thread
I had 2 x 8 cell embryos put in at 3 days old last Thursday. Im constantly symptom spotting but I last had 2 FET cycles which are compeltey different in terms of aches and pains. Ive had no aches pains or anything. Then only thing Ive started to get yesterday and today is sore boobs but I dont know if it is just because I have started feeling them as not noticed before! Im going mad as you can tell.
I have been getting mild AF aches which come and go too. On my first fresh cycle I didnt get to test day as I started my period at day 10 ish so if I make it past the weekend I will be happy
Sorry to waffle so much but Im at work and just need to vent off! Arrggghh Lol
Anyway PMA to all you ladies. Lets hope we get some BFP on here x |

Hi Katie
You're most welcome here. Congratulations on your little travellers. Lets hope that the achey boobies are a good sign I've not had symptoms either on this fet cycle but my fresh one I did and mine was a BFP (but sadly ectopic)
I'm sure you'll make it to otd - keep us posted. You're not waffling - I am at work too but i have done bugger all whatsoever as I can't concentrate and they pretty much leave me alone, hence on here all day! Lol.
I would love to see all of us ladies get a BFP - fingers crossed to everyone. xx |

Hey ladies just a quick hello to see how everyone is getting on ? Sorry ive not been on for a few days but my account wont let me on for some bizarre reason so ive had to re register so this is my new user name.
Hows everyone feeling ? If your anything like me your pulling your hair out waiting
ive not really had any obvious symptoms but then again ive bloated up quite badly off the pessaries so i dont think i would notice any anyway. I had a few twinges aches and pains at the beggining of the week but i put that down to my body adjusting to all the medication we have to take.
Im trying to remain positive but its so hard when you have suffered with infertility for long to ever be able to imagine actually seeing a bfp.
Webbo how r u anyway ? Got worried on the other thread when we never heard off you after your egg transfer wishing you the best of luck i test on wednesday not looking forward to it to be honest cant stand the thought of seeing a bfn but it has to be done so ill let the hubby do it haha im sure the look on his face will tell me all xx |

Hey Lisadaz. Good to hear from you Yep - pulling out hair, don't have much left! Otd is 6 days away yet and it is dragging so much. Like you, other than a bit of bloating, I haven't really had much symptom wise but last night had AF type aches and scared to death it is coming. I would be due today and I am regular as clockwork so worried that is what the ache was all about
I have also been told by the nurses that the drugs wuold prevent me bleeding at all so even if it fails, I won't know until I take my test? Not sure which is harder - AF coming so you know it's not worked or having to wait for negative test on otd!
Sorry if I disappeared from another thread. I have been on so many lately that my watched threads box got a bit full so if I have any that haven't had any activity for a while I delete them from my watched list.
Great to hear from you anyway and lots of good vibes all round for BFP's xx |

Hi all
Really not doing well on the pma front. Convinced myself yesterday I wasnt preg, based on no empiracle evidence other than being pregnant just never happens to me and that the aches all stopped.
'Celebrated' this by cleaning windows and ironing net curtains! Then as I had started ironing I finished the clothes off too. All this after 2 20 min walks following a week on the sofa. By 4pm I wad utterly knackered and aching again! Still got aches today. And my back hurts. No idea what any of it means. Don't normally ache until after I start bleeding on a normal af.
It's all just too frustrating, not knowing. And still a week to go before testing!
Hope you're all doing better than me! Lol |

Hi Ladies
Well not sure what is going on with my body at the moment. I started spotting yesterday just brown and hardly noticeable and a little bit this morning, I wonder if it is too late for implantation bleed? I had bad period pains all day yesterday so think it probably is period on the way
I tested this morning and it is BFN so will test again tomorrow and hope no bleeding starts
This process never gets any easy
Sarah - hope your PMA is back? you need to try take it easy after you busy day yesterday x
How is everyone else doing? |

Hi ladies,
BFP! We are so happy can't believe it.
It is 16 days after EC and 18 days after trigger so it is a true result isn't it?
I've had a light brown discharge for a week now, it must be implantation? I had a brown/ yellow discharge all the time I was pg last time so I don't think it is anything to worry about.

Congrats Ayla, that is wonderful news! And a few days early, too, which must be nice.
And from what you have said, Katie should take heart! Discharge seems to mean little, one way or the other, unless t is a lot of bright red colour!
I had a very emotional day yesterday. Quite weepy. Spent all night being woken by a splitting headache, so not feeling brilliant this morning, despite the extra hour! Going to do my best not to think about 'things' today. DH is being great by making me rest after Friday. Sofa it is then, and what else are Sunday's for?! |
