I want one, so glad to hear that things went well for you too!

There was another couple at Notts earlier who came out beaming from ear to ear, smiled at us both with thumbs up and flashed us their scan pic!! This was all before our appointment - looks like it has been a good day for a few of us!!

Han, I had aching b00bs all the time and slight diarrhoea in the morning from before my BFP, and I've noticed that I get a bit more faint feeling if I don't eat regularly. Other than that, I've had no syptoms at all. I think my belly is a bit bloated, which I don't usually suffer with, but I may be imagining that and perhaps always look this shape!!

Han, after my bleeding on Sunday, I really coudn't detect any symptoms at all, and just fel "not pregnant" again. I think our brains are very quick to sense symptoms that just aren't really there at times - and it's not a surprise given how much we've been through to get this far... I'm more bloated today than I have been up until now... I'm sure I am Smile

Morning ladies,

Can I join you, I have a scan booked for 29th December.

I did a test yesterday to check my progress and it said 3+ weeks so that has made me feel a bit better. Does anyone else feel like this is not real yet? I have waited so long to be pregers that I cannot believe that I am!

As for symptoms I have sore boobs, feel sick if I don’t eat, get very tired and have an Incredible sense of smell (which is mostly bad). My close friend is one week ahead of me and she is throwing up every day so I consider myself very lucky Smile

Hope everyone else is well.

Han - hope everything is ok, have you rang Care? Are you at work or can you rest?

Karen - the symptoms will only get worse but I will be so happy to feel horrible, bring it on. Am trying not to think too far ahead until after the 12 week scan but it is so hard. I have started drinking a ginger tea which although is not as nice as a normal brew I think it will help with the sickness when it starts.

Han- well if Care thought there was a problem then they would have seen you earlier so I guess just try and relax as much as possible.

I have just been to the hairdressers and had my hair done, I cancelled the usual highlights with the excuse of not being able to afford it as thought it was best to leave it until after the 12 week stage. I will probably have really bad roots by then but not taking any risks as it has been a long road to get here and my hair really the least of my worries. I had a couple of inches cut off and it feels really bouncy anyway, going to my work night out tonight, it is pretty low key in a local italian, will be sticking to the sparkling water but think will get away with it as I live quite far from the rest of them so would have driven any way

Hope the rest of you are ok

Han, stop testing, please. The conception indicator is notoriously unreliable.... you'll only worry if it changes!

Ruby, the advice I had from Care was that there is no right with hair dye - modern dyes hav very different chamicals from those of yester-year, although I can understand your reluctance...

Karen7, I'm 7 weeks today, and it still doesn't feel real....

Welcome Karen! Congratulations! X
Han - I'm sure all will be ok! Try not to worry as ruby said if care were that worried they would have got you in for an earlier scan x
Ruby I used to be a hairdresser and it would be sooo fine as long as you have foils it's only colour that goes onto the scalp that has risks also acrylic nails aren't good either! Just for future knowledge x
I seem to have stopped feeling sick??? boobs are still sore tho! Some dodgy stomach pains on and off! Ive actually felt worse since the scan which feels weird I think that once I see that little bean and that tiny heartbeat it reminds me how painful it was to lose it! I feel even more scared! Im positive that this time will be different! But it's always there at the back of my mind! Hark at me!!! We are all going to be counting down our due dates together for sure!!! This is our time! X

Hi Everyone

I've been having on and off symptoms... sore boobs, really tired but can't sleep, a craving for carbs and salt but felt really queasy this morning so had a dry ginger biscuit which cured it.

Karen - I was also thinking of cancelling my hairdresser appointment as I was having highlights and I think I'll be cautious now you've said that and cancel and have a cut instead. Get the 12 weeks over first....

I really need to relax though as I am worrying quite a lot about everything so I'm off into town shopping for relaxation cd tomorrow. Anyone else got any tips? I think this is worse the the 2ww...

Hi Ladies, Can I join you? I should be having a scan in December but due to Sheffield closing between Christmas and the New Year my toture is been dragged out til Tues 3rd Jan!!! I've had a bit of gagging and retching but no sore boobs.

Ruby - what Ginger tea did you get? The only one I could find is Twinnings Lemon and Ginger, but I need a full spoonful of sugar in it!! Sweetner doesn;t take the edge of in the same way.

Amanda - let me know what relaxtion CD you get. I'd like to get one. I used the Zita West one for pre and post EC then the 2ww. Her pregnancy one seems expensive as I think there is only 1 track on it.

Han - I hope you haven't had anymore blood today.

Karen - I've bought 2 more clearblue HPT's today. I need to see it move up to 3 weeks plus next week

Dianne

Han, I'm sure all will be fine on 28th. In the meantime, rest as much as you can & take care of yourself... Or get your OH to look after you!!

Morning Ladies,

Good news your bleeding has stopped han. Smile

Has everyone got time off over the holidays?

I have felt quite ‘normal’ the last few days which has worried me, but I’m determined not to worry what will be will be and me worrying will not change that. At least it’s a busy time of year I think that helps.

Have a great weekend everyone.

The ginger tea I am drinking is Pukka Three ginger, I got it from Sainsburys but I think I have seen it in Tesco as well, am getting used to drinking it now.

Do not have many symptoms other than sore boobs and tiredness, although today I am very tired as I went out with my friends to a Christmas Party night with my friends and didn't get to bed til 2.30am. 1 of my friends knows I am pregnant as she is my closest friend and helped us out with looking after our little girl when we were having IVF but the rest of them just looked at each other when I said I was driving and wouldn't have even a teeny glass of wine but none of them said anything to me as they know of the pregnancies in the past that haven't worked out. Did a bit of dancing but it was really nice to catch up with them and not think about IVF for a night.

Karen - I feel quite normal too but it is early on so that is normal so I am trying not to worry about that

Hope you have a good weekend, it is DH's turn for a night out so it will be Strictly Come Dancing and an early night for me

Hi there

I think we're all feeling pretty normal then. I too have boob pain (on and off) and tiredness. Also (TMI) yellow discharge which apparently is normal for the first 12 weeks and I can't eat as much as I usually do so I get full quite quickly although I am eating healthy as I not interested in eating chocolate.

I spoke to my friend last night who is 18 weeks pg and she agreed with me that the time that you wait for you scan is worse then the 2ww. Especially if you've never been pregnant before as you just analysis everything which is what I've been doing.

Karen - I've decided the same as you what will be will be ...

Baby dust xx
