Hi all
Wantababy, as Freda says try not to worry. It could be that your gf was more hydrated this time and so the urine was more dilute which can affect the test as can the time of day it's done. There's so many variables and hpt's are not a reliable way to gauge the progress of a pregnancy. If your really worried and stressed over it perhaps your gp would do a blood test to put your minds at rest.
Its so hard isn't it, I really want to take Freda's advice and stop testing but don't think I can although am going to stick with the cheap tests so as long as there's two lines I won't worry!! (as much)

Hey there we have phoned the on call nurse to see what to do, she said stop testing as its causing us stress, also she said not to worry too much as my gf has not had any pain or any bleed and the test is still positive which is good, we suggested that we go to the gp she said she doesnt feel we need to as we have not had any symptoms of miscarriage, she said to just enjoy being pregnant and come for scan as normal as longs we dont have a bleed not to worry, we do feel abit better but still abit worried. i did post in the general forum and it has happened before and that lady is still pregnant so thats good to know very reassuring. hope everyone else is ok  |

Hi everyone
I did my test 2 hours ago and got a BFP! I need to ring Care to let them know. I had my monitoring done at a satellite unit and I can't book my scan till the 3rd which is my first day back at work after having DS last year!

I was the same with DS. The sore (.)(.) would come and go as would the sickness. Don't worry - I think it's normal to get some fluctuation of symptoms.

Hi Freda
Not got a scan date yet. I had my monitoring done at one of Care's satellite units and they don't reopen after Christmas till Tuesday which is also my first day back at work after mat leave! 
At first I was shocked and felt wobbly, then excited, then tearful, then scared in case anything goes wrong and now I'm stressing over my job list. DH is worried as I've told him we'll need to redecorate the spare room and install a new on suite for us to move in to so we can redecorate our room for DS to move in to so the baby can have DS' room!

Mixed spice I'm so glad you said that about the sore (.)(.) as its a constant sore of my worrying, did yet another test this morning as they were pretty sore when I woke up but 4 hrs later hardly anything! So I know where your coming from Freda!!
We're out for dinner tonight and have friends coming round tomorrow night so am looking forward to the distraction! |

Hi there, I couldn't resist posting to just reassure you tiger777 I am in the same boat as you, I'm 40 and thought this would be the last chance for me and DH to have a baby and I got my BFP at the beggining of Dec. I have my scan today!!!
Throughout the wait I have tested about 6 times always checking that I still have a BFP. I analyse every symptom checking on the internet all the time. I have also have sore boobs on and off and this is completely natural, having sickness in waves is also ok and the worrying will never go away. However, try to relax and enjoy it, easier said then done I know, but really the time will come round quickly.
Remember as long as you're not bleeding then having no symptoms doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. Good luck to you and everyone on this thread xx Baby dust. |

| Tiger congratulations on your bfp !! My symptoms come in waves too must be when we get a surge of hormones I bet when they kick in we will wish they was in waves lol |

Sorry if I have left me 1 out don't think I have
afm I've been havin tiny amounts of pale pink discharge the past couple of days, haven't had any pains and it hasn't changed in amount or colour and it's not constant ! Rang care they said that it happens to quite a few people in early pregnancy so remaining positive as I still have my pregnancy symptoms the waves of nausea are horrible but at the same time live havin it as its a good sign ...... Crazy lol!! Hurry up scan so nervous and worried !!! |

| I am starting with indigestion which I would have thought it was to early. (.)(.) 's are wrecking and having ovarish pain still mostly On the left side am presuming it's the pessaries however I normally get these pains because of my pcos and endometreosis. Know how u all feel about the testing it does become a bit of an obsession. I keep analysing every twinge too. can't wait till scan day just hope everything is ok x |

Morning everyone
Amanda71 thank you so much for your reassuring words, was having another panic this morning as sore boobs returned last night and then again within an hour of getting up they were hardly hurting at all, in fact I feel fine, the only other thing I've noticed is I can't eat my toast when I get up, have to wait till around 11, also seem to have lost my appetite for chocolate! Although that can't be a bad thing!!
Your right reeree, am sure will be moaning once they kick in (please kick in!!) tested positive again this morning though!
Does anyone know if it's ok to have a bath now? Care always so not to in the two week wait but don't say anything following a positive. |

Hi jenniefleur I stated getting indigestion half way thru the second week of the 2ww and still have it now sun days it's really bad !!!
