Hi everyone
Good new wendy fingers crossed it stays that way.
Well i started bleeding this morning, proper bleeding. So took test so i could see the negative and get over it, but iit was positive! So the nurse has said it's too late in the day to be the hcg causing the result, so looks like i had implantation but it didnt fancy sticking around. She told me to rest but i dont really see the point?? Cant see how i can be bleeding and still pregnant?
Hope the pains are just from the pessaries diamond.
Ive just got to hold tight and see what happens...most stressful time ever!

Hey ladies. Hope you're all having a good weekend and not obsessing too much. I'm definitely struggling this weekend. Now I've got back from my trip away, it seems like this is the only thing I can think about. I'm convinced the next toilet visit will bring bad news but it hasn't yet. Dreading testing again tomorrow. It's around this time in the cycle things have gone wrong before so I'm very very nervous.
Diamond - I know exactly how you feel. The internet is really useful but at the same time a bit of a dangerous place. There's far too much information out there! And almost a week after my positive test, with absolutely no sign of a bleed, I still can't believe it and am on constant knicker check. Don't be too downhearted that you're getting pains cos lots of ladies do.
Poppy - sorry to hear that you're bleeding but the +ve test result is good. Don't assume that the bleeding means it's over, hon. I've seen so many stories of ladies who've had lots of lots of bleeding, clots the works, and it's been caused by all sorts of things but they've gone on to have healthy babies. You must keep up the meds and test again. I know how you feel because I've gone through exactly the same thing as you on my second to last IVF. I did the test, like you, just so I could get my head around it and get over it, but it was positive. This is didn't turn out well for me personally, but I spoke to a consultant at the time who said that it could go either way... And I've definitely seen that for myself from ladies on here.
tcr - congratulatios on your natural miracle. How amazing! Sounds like you're about to pop. Hope it all goes really well for you.
Niki xxx |

Hi ladies.
Congrats Wendy hope you get the same result on your OTD fingers and toes crossed for you.
Welcome jellyfish to the 2 ww it's not nice but plenty of support on here when needed.
I do agree with the dangers of the Internet can have very useful info but also can breed worries that we never thought of before so I am staying clear for now.
Cookiedough and Aygirl good luck for tomorrow will be thinking of you and waiting for you on the next thread.
Positive vibes being sent to you all xxx |

Thanks Niki, thanks ladies:)
Very emotional today, really hoping that it has worked and I get my first ever bfp although i cant get over the feeling that it's going to be a bfn. Will be devastated if it hasn't worked. Absolutely shattered today but I bet I won't sleep a wink tonight and test at 5am!
Hi everyone else, keep positive

| Thanks Cookiedough. I know exactly how you feel. Even after one positive test I'm still convincing myself it will have all gone away when I test again. I've had so many horrible pg test moments I think I'm scarred for life! Here's to tomorrow being the last one ever! xxx |

Good luck cookie, i'll be thinking of you as i expect i'll be up too! Hoping my second line wont have faded.like i fear it will have.
I've been horizontal all day so i think gravity hasn't had a chance to do it's thing, i'm scared to get up incase i get a flood!
I'm very lucky to have a son (who's been running round after me all day!) but he longs for a brother or sister more than anything and it breaks my heart everytime he asks me why i've never got a baby in my tummy like other mummies do. So i'm feeling his diappointment as much as my own and other half's.
Thanks for your boost Niki, i hope ur second test is not too stressful, all sounds so far so good anyway so i'm sure you'll be fine!
What a tense weekend indeed!

Evening all - well another weekend sitting in for me! OTD tomorrow- thanks for all the good wishes but im not optomistic. I have had spotting on and off for most of this cycle so its not promising but i havent tested early. I have had time to get used to the probable outcome and now really cant wait to stop all meds and let the witch have her way!
Sorry cant remember names but a few more BFPs which is great news for the thread - massive congrats.
Hi to all the new ladies and good luck with your cycles! xox |

Hello ladies, lots of activity today! I'll try and do some personals, but apologise in advance if I miss anyone off the growing list!
JEP, well done you for waiting until OTD. I think as Louise said, every cycle is different and you never can tell when you'll get a BFP or not. Fingers crossed for you for Tuesday, not long now.
Cookie, good luck with testing tomorrow. I hope it's great news for you.
Aygirl, good luck with your test tomorrow. Hope the bleeding has been something and nothing.
Jellyfish, welcome to the bonkers 2ww! You're not wasting any time trying for number 2 are you?! lol. You're right Theo is a real cheeky monkey. He's being a bit of a handful at the moment, refusing to eat, tantrums, being a bit clingy - none of which he's really done much of before, but I know it's just his age and the face he's realising he has choices now - and that he doesn't always get his way!!
Nikival, try not to worry too much about testing tomorrow, I'm sure that it will be ok. Fingers crossed it's just confirmation. I'm constantly on knicker watch too, which isn't helped by the horrible pessaries I don't think!
Diamond step away from google! It really never does give you good answers. I've had quite a lot of pains today as well, but not like AF, so I'm hoping it's just things going on in there that should be. It's only 3 years ago, but I have forgotten so much about when I got pregnant with my son on my previous cycle.
Alliwant, sorry your frostie didn't make it. It really does only take one embryo though - if my luck holds out, I'll be evidence of that hopefully - and my 'numbers' looked better than yours at the outset, so you've done well to get a good embryo
Poppy, really try and not give up all hope. The HCG shot will definitely have gone from your system. I know it's small comfort (and won't stop you being a wreck!), but many ladies have full bleeds, get a BFP and all is ok with baby, so hope that's the way for you.
Thanks for the congrats Tracy. Nothing certain yet! Not long for you now. Anna, will post on the other thread, haven't had chance with having Theo all day.
MissT, hope you're ok.
Hi to everyone else, i've updated list attached. I've had quite a lot of pains today, not doubled over, just grumblings, so hoping that means that whatever's going on is good! I know I've tested early, so just hoping things go ok. I've been through miscarriage before after my first cycle and it's horrible to have that fear hanging over you that it's all going to go wrong again.

Morning ladies!
Well it seems my frostie was a little fighter after all and this morning I got a BFP I can't actually believe it! The first test I did wasnt so clear so I did another one (read on here to use a pot for testing, great advice) and it is definitely positive - whoop whoop!
Hope everyone else ok? Xxxx |

Excellent congrats cookie!!! Bet you're gonna have the best sunday ever today!
Alliwant, you sound about as pessamistic as me! I went mad googling day 3 transfer with a 4 cell embryo after this is all i had left. During this google session i came across a lot of people who said they had success with low grade embryos, many people believe that once inside they do much better than in the dish!
I have decided not to test again today as it seems my period is in full swing now. I could be wrong but it certainly feels like it. I will perhaps test tomorrow and then ring up for a blood test. At least that way i can put it behind me and plough straight in to the next (and probably final,) round.
