Hi, I am currently in my 2ww and the other day (approx 5days after fet) I had the most awful taste in the back of my mouth. Very chemical like. I know a lot of women have a metal taste when they are pregnant and was just wondering if anyone had heard of it being chemically rather than metally?

It only lasted a second or two then disappeared but it was enough to make me stop mid-sentence and wonder what on earth was happening!

Hi skinnylegs, thanks for replying. My OTD is Thursday 15th. Because I had Fet they have given me 2 test days, 15th and 18th.

I'm trying my hardest not to look for symptoms! Its not difficult today tbh because they've all disappeared Shocked

Omg!! That's the same test date as me!! Although I have had a horrible afternoon I went to the toilet and wiped and there was a tiny bit of red blood there, then a few hours later I've just been again and I wiped and there was abit of browney discharge there I am terrified I am coming on Sad
This is an awful roller coaster isn't it Sad xxxx

It certainly is. Ive been having AF pains on and off all afternoon. I had ICSI in Dec ember that resulted in a BFN and I started my period 5days before OTD. Which works out as tomorrow. Can't wait for the weekend to be over and yet another hurdle passed.

Is this your first cycle? Hope the spotting has stopped xx

Hi there
No its my second cycle I had ICSI in 2008 which resulted in my little boy Josh aged 3!! We were so blessed for it to work first time for us, a real miracle it was. This is all in the hope I can give him a sibling Smile I really hope and pray u get your BFP this time, coming on and not even getting to do the test is a bummer Sad I am the same as u and want to get the weekend over with everyday further on is a bonus isn't it!! U must keep on updating me, we'll be in bits Wednesday night!! The bleeding/spotting seems to have stopped so please god it's not my AF arriving.
Big hugs
Leigh xxx

Hope you are having a better day skinnylegs, I woke up to no AF thankfully, I usually seem to start through the night so thats one more night over. Hope you are still bloodless. Thats great that your first ICSI worked! I wasnt surprised mine didnt tbh, was in a lot of discomfort from a difficult egg collection all the way through to test day so no wonder my little egg didnt want to stick around. Had 2 frosties put back this time and was so much easier.

Will keep you updated and will be stalking you until Thursday (only slightly stalking tho!). Would be lovely to see you get a bfp. I did say to myself I would stay away from any forums this time round but its so difficult to, especially when you start symptom spotting!

hugs
Tracy

Hi Tracy
Not had a good day Sad lots of pain and had some red and brown blood, spoke to Care they said it could be my period, could be implantation or loss of one of the embryos as I had two put back, just to rest increase pessaries to 2 in morning two at night. I really think I am coming on Sad
Sounds like u had a tough time last time round, I have a feeling your frosties are going to be good, maybe it just wasn't meant to be last time and this time is your time please god Smile

Oh Skinnylegs I really really hope it is implantation and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. You have to remember there are so many women out there who have had bleeding and were sure it was all over and they got their BFP!

Rest as much as possible and let them snuggle in xx

Thank you ladies! I'm so nervous, don't think I will sleep tonight. Still feeling positive but every now and again I wonder if I'm setting myself up for a big letdown.

Had a lot of cramps and twinges over the last few days. I keep telling myself my uterus needs to stretch!

Hope you're feeling ok skinnylegs xx

Thats a brilliant idea about the sick note, this baby is soooo prescious to you guys, even ask them to sign you off for 12 weeks if they will. When I had Josh (he is 3 now) I was really poorly during the pregnancy and I got signed off work, the rest really really does help I am convinced, like you said eat and sleep don't do much else, leave the dust and the vaccing it can wait!! your little one is number one Smile xxxx
