Morning ladies
No sickness thank goodness as have a bit of a phobia about being sick but my god my (.)(.) really hurt today So far its just been at night when I lie on my side but today they just hurt.
I don't seem to be as bloated all the time like I was perhaps a week ago. After dinner I am little bloated but probably cos I've stuffed my face lol
I've been out walking the dog at lunchtime which is lovely when the weather is nice but otherwise taking it easy for now. The gym I go to is a circuit gym just for ladies and the staff there are great and fully trained for pre/post natal exercise. Found out that my local pool also does prenatal classes so will probably go there too especially as I get bigger.
Can't wait for the scan - I am so convinced we have two bubbles in there From the beginning I've said to DH that we'll be all or nothing lol

Hi Ladyluck, I'm having exactly the same feelings plus the slight queasiness, tiredness and hungry too. Not complaining though! I know MissT, they've got me in rather quick! May be because I had de or maybe they're not quite as busy.
Are we all taking it easy this weekend? The DH is taking me to a fab rib restaurant - well, we are all eating or more than 1 now! how many little embies did you all have in?

Hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining. I had my BFP on Thursday, and Im still in absolute shock. This was a FET with 2 frosties. And Im hoping and praying that they've both snuggled in!
My scan date is 28th March so I should theoretically be on a different thread but I got my BFP around the same time as you all so feel I should be here really.
Topie I was following your 2ww with interest as we had practically the same symptoms! |

Evening Ladies
Would love to join this thread, as the symptom discussions are pretty interesting. My OTD was yesterday (16/03) but I tested a day early on 15th and it's BFP. I agree it's an amazing feeling to see the words "Pregnant" for the first time of your life. I am so excited, I even bought a "Mother's day" card for myself on behalf of my 2 lil snow babies!
LadyLuck I am also from Northampton.
My scan is on 5th April so have updated the list below. Am so so so hoping it's twins as it breaks my heart losing yet another snow baby.
In regards to symptoms here is what I feel:
-Constantly bloated
-Thirsty all the time with cravings for fruit punch and shakes
-Lower back pain - at the tail bone. So much I cannot sit on a chair. Am constantly with a hotwater bag
-Abdomen cramps like period pain, but it's much less than last week
-Occasional shooting pain on one side of lower abdomen...sometimes left, sometimes right
-Tender and bloated Boobs last week, which strangely has "deflated" back and less tender this week
-Feeling tired
No food cravings, no metallic taste, no morning/evening sicknes
Updated list:
Cake4brains - 28th March
Em n Rick - 30th March
Ladyluck - 2nd April
Topie - 2nd April
Misst - 4th April
Smiles123 - 5th April
Am the last in the list to will be eagerly watching your updates... what did you see, how did it feel, do you get any further support from Care or is that the last you see of them, when is your NHS scan...etc
BTW, did anyone inform your local GP as yet and book a midwife appointment? Or would you speak to your GP only after the Care scan? |

Hello Ladies, please can I join you?
My scan is 5th April, which seems ages away!
I asked about when to contact local GP and care said after the scan with them, thats also when we would be discharged.
As for symptoms I am feeling OK apart from really bad lower back pain, which concerns me as its so like my AF arrival.
Wishing you a secret happy mothers day tomorrow ;o)

Hi, hope you're all doing well.
Im glad my symptoms were handy cake, it's awful not knowing what to expect and makes you feel better when someone else has similar really pleased you put yours on too smiles as I've had a few shooting pains that move sides, particularly this evening. Also really thirsty too. I wonder what the pains are? My sister, who is a midwife, says that the fluttery pains can be to do with tummy stretching and growing (I'm more convinced mine is wind, hehe). Anyone else getting anything different?

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the gorgeous mums-to-be! The timing of the day couldn't be more perfect when we all just had BFP
Topie, the AF type cramps, bloatedness and boob swelling is all reaction to the pessaries. This was worse on week1 as body is just getting used to the hormones.
I too consider the fluttery sharp pains as gas. And then on positive side tell myself that this is the way my snow babies telling me they are alive and kicking
I think its too early for tummy stretching. There is a whole wide space in the womb now and they are just a milimeter in size. I have been tracking their progress... Isn't it lovely to think by now everyones lil embies have got lil spinal cords and developing brains. And a cute butt too!

Morning ladies and welcome to all the new pregnant ladies
Happy mothers day to everyone
Hope everyone is well, just a quick one as on phone, I had some pink/brown blood when I wiped yesterday (sorry tmi) I phoned the nurse n she said could be the pesseries, had none all night n just had a bit this morning after pesseries other then that I have tiredness, sore boobs n hungry n thirsty but have woken up with a sore throat n a cough I hope everything is ok for us, they don't want to bring our scan forward just yet but she said the earliest they could do it would be 23rd but I am better off waiting til 7 weeks. I only did a clearblue preg test on Friday n it said 3+ so my hcg levels are obviously over 20000 as this is the threshold. Sorry post is all bout me just need some reassurance I guess love to you all n hope you all have a great day, I will post personals later xxxx |

Em, sorry for stalking... But...
Have I got to get my Pom poms out? You will be fine sweetie. When you see how many people have had bleeding and spotting. Our own guru Jep on our thread had it, and she has seen that lovely heartbeat. You will be fine if you tell your body and mind that you are fine. It is horrible to have the worry, but please try not to Hun. Lots of love, Josie xxx |

Morning ladies and welcome to the new faces glad you are joining us
Em - keep those positive thoughts and I am sure its just those damn pessaries messing you around. Try not to worry as Josie says lots of others have been there too xx
Care Northampton have sent my GP a letter which they sent me a copy last week giving them a summary of the treatment to date and saying I've had a positive test and a pregnancy scan has been booked so I'm leaving it at that for now.
My symptoms haven't changed much just differ in severity each day - can't wait to stop these pessaries as I think they are the cause most of the time and its hard to read you own body. I am craving smoothies and fruit juice and have really lost the taste for tea which is very odd as I am a complete tea monkey normally lol
Have a nice mummies day mums to be

Hi all,
Welcome to newcomers, cake4brains, smiles 123 + bluebutterfly.
Em, try to stay postive. I'm sure it's just the reaction to the pessaries. Knicker watch spotting is my greatest fear too ...... you may have seen this on my 2WW posts but i shared this fear with my mum & she described how she had almost AF bleeds with me + my brother and we are both here .....
Hope everybody has had a nice weekend, I'm loving the lighter nights ..... I can't wait until the clocks change next weekend.

Hi, how's everyone's mother's days been? I've been Nanna visiting, and it was so hard not to tell them!
How are you getting on Em? i hope there's been no more spotting.
I agree MissT - light nights always make me feel better and we will all benefit from the PMA
Everyone else feeling good? I've just been looking at the posts on the March scans and they are all great so far. I'm sure our thread will be just as lucky, as the 2WW was.
Love to all
