Hi Curly
Im on those. I get what I call a "whoosh" every now and then from them.lol. There's also times when I say " I have no idea what I was going to say etc!" so you can imagine how I felt when they increased my dose to 5 a day!!!! I was only on 2 Ã day at the time! The next 2 days were hard but then I just told myself that this had got to stop and it was mind over matter and I've been ok since x just off for a scan now. Had trouble getting "thick so fingers crossed"
You will be fine. It's mind over matter x x |

Hi Rusty,
Thanks for your reply. I have to say I'm worrying about how on earth these things will possibly help my lining get thick in such a short space of time, bit baffling really.
Am only a couple of days in and already my mood swings have been quite pronounced!!
How did your scan go hun?

Hello ladies, just popping in to see how you're doing.
I haven't heard of the drug you're talking about, is it instead of progynova - little blue tablets?
Rusty I really hope your lining thickens up for you.
Fran, glad to hear you've started on 'phase two'
How is everyone else doing?
I'm waiting for 'the call' - hope its not too much longer.

Hi ladies,
Rusty, hope upping your tablets does the trick, - 6.7mm isn't too far away though
Fran, glad to hear you are well on your way
Alice, I really hope you get the call soon.
AFM, we have had our first scan and all looks good - one healthy bean with a heartbeat. I am so relieved all is well - I know it's still a long way to go but taking one day at a time. |

Great news fidyro - and we are all with you Rusty!
My diet and fitness regime is good - 1 stone lost and back to the weight i was when i left Uni. Cross fingers that match will be shortly after our forthcoming holiday....
i have started acupuncture - very relaxed after first session - almost felt like I had had a bottle of wine i was so woozy when i left the clinic ! definitely recommended! |

| Acupuncture is supposed to be amazing along with treatment. Especially when it is started early on in the cycle as you are doing. Keep it up x just got home today as we live over 300 miles away from the clinic. Spent a few days being pampered by my sister and now tucked up on the sofa watching Dancing in Ice x |

I have acupuncture, not sure how much ut'll help with treatment but it's very relaxing. Would certainly recommend it.
Soooo stressed this week, and tearful but ploughing on. Just want this to over but apparently there'll be more delays; can't go into details here but so fed up!!!!
Sorry to be negative but have hit my wall, want to go to bed and wake up preggers in about 4 weeks!!

Thanks Rusty.
I have to say, this is the first time I've actually thought 'stuff it, it's not worth it', so we never have children? We'll spend our money on holidays instead!! Just not coping well really.
Not sure either how much is stress at the process and how much is the hormones... |

I know exactly how you feel. This is my 4th cycle, 2nd with de and all the way through I haven't been excited at all as I have with my other cycles. My partner was in austrailia when I started my injections and every time I did them I thought, I don't know why I am doing this as it probably won't work. The first tinge of excitement can the day before et when they said what size etc the embryos were. I've nearly done a week on the 2ww and I'm trying not to think about the dreaded bleed that u always get.
What stage are you at? |

Ladies, hang in there!
IVF is bad enough for driving you mad, but DE does add a whole other dimension - the lack of control just tips you over the edge. Even if you are almost at your fingertips I know you can just hang on for this final stage.
I will have everything crossed for you.

Oh Fran, I just feel for you so much!!! This waiting is so hard, especially when you feel so out of control with the whole thing. It makes it even harder that you can't be completely open about what is going on. But like you said to me, this is the place to scream and shout and let all that frustration out. We all understand honey.

Thanks so much for your reply and for understanding Alice. I know I should be more reasonable and calmer but it jus feels so close now and the goalposts are STILL moving.
Sorry I can't give any details can I but we'd been led to believe we'd be at egg collection now and we're still not there and I'm so scared that we'll get yet more bad news, no eggs, not good enough quality or zero fertilisation. Just so many variables and do much that can go wrong!!
Check me out, how 'glass half empty' am I?!! Xxx |

| Morning ladies. I hope everybody is managing to cope with their own personal battles and journeys today. Sending lots of love out to you all x I'm in a bit of a rut!! I test on Thursday and I did a hpt this morning....I know I should have resisted..... It was a bfn. I've told myself it's too early....is it or am I just hanging onto hopeful wishes. How early is too early. It's hard to believe that a bfp can show in just 2 days. All my symptoms have gone really. I do feel a bit nauseous and dizzy after eating but I feel I might just be looking out for it now!!!! Need advise and inspiration!!!!!!! X x x |

Oh Rusty, you silly sausage! Nothing I can say will make you feel better but please try to hang on to the hope that it could all still be ok and there is time for it to turn around for you. I've definitly heard of people who tested BFN the day before OTD and BFP on the day/day after. It'll be much easier to get through the next couple of days if you allow yourself some positivity so please try. And as for symptoms, well they don't mean anything as some people get them and some don't. Keeping everything crossed for you.
Fran, I can so relate to the moving goalposts!!!! That must be so frustrating for you to have EC delayed. Aaarrgh! This whole process is a series of hurdles but you need to just try to focus only on the next one - egg collection - then give that box a great big tick before focusing on the next one - egg numbers. I know its really really hard but do try not to worry about the things further down the line, you'll just get yourself into a state! Sending you calming hugs...
love Alice x |
