Ha Ha thanks girls, I woke up in the night with some cramping and I thought that it was the start of it but obviously it wassn't... It often feels like baby Hutchy wants out with all the wriggling about... you never know things might happen next week when stitch comes out, me and DH are hoping it does...

I think Theo was just impatient to get out and see the world too - totally upset my plans though - I like to be organised and baby coming over 6 weeks early wasn't in those plans! lol
Exciting stuff now. I can't wait to see a photo of baby Hutchy.

Hi ladies
Just quickies as I have been up since 4.30 with a poorly boy - coughing and temp bless him - still keeping those glands up ! Thankfully he seems settled if a bit warm but have drugged him up!!!!
Well - Hutchy - I git took in at exactly 35 weeks to be started off after they thought waters broke and BP went a drift! Got sent home again DS DID NOT want to enter the world quite so quickly! Glad all seems well and good luck with the stitch - as you say it may well set things going !
Wendy - so sorry about your news both on BFN and Aunt - horrible time at the mo so sending big (hugs)
Nicky - yes we do seem to look at behaviour far more than we used to. Of course Aspergers is on the Autism Spectrum but as I say when is obsessive/strange/tantrums out of the norm???? I know a number of kids with the and many more traits as DS. That's my point - why do we have to put a name to everything??? I was reading lots and some people are for a diagnosis with Aspergers but many are not - if only for the reason that it stops you being able to get in certain jobs ie forces cos you're not classed as A1 fit! Plus as you say what appears to be Autistic traits can all work themselves out when they get to school! I have a friend whose daughter just turned 4 and she still walks on tip toes!
Rosemummy - hope you're not too stressed. I have txtd you - hope it all makes sense?*! Will speak soon.
Janette - well Skeggy season opens for us this weekend. Mum & Dad going to open up and warm things through - we'll hopefully be there weekend after - if DS OK!
Hi Ali/Reds - hope you're all OK???
SmellyCat/Alex - Hope you're bundles of joy are keepinh you busy ????
Sorry if I've missed anyone - can't look back without losing what I've typed!*?
Well DS - changed his afternoon class to a morning - and I CANNOT believe the difference !!! It's like a different child came out!!! Absoultey loved and screamed the house down the following day cos he didn't want to go in the afternoon! Time will tell when he has to go for another morning session - although maynot be tomorrow with the bug he has. It's a horrible rasping cough - it's about the 3rd one in the last 8-10 weeks! Worrying me a bit with the continuous swollen glands. Doc says to take him back if glands still swollen after 2-3 weeks (have noticed they normally take 4 to go down!) but unfortunately we haven't had 4 weeks in between each cold!
Right best be of DP will be home form work soon and I haven't tidied or done him any sarnies !
Speak soon

We've dropped off the page so just thought I would bump us up. Have the virus that DS has got and feel really really sleepy so must be off.
Have a wonderful weekend all.

Hope all you yummy mummies are having a good day, I got breakfast in bed....
we had the tour of the labour ward yesterday and the midwife brought us a little baby to coo over and she was gorgeous.... We also had the talk about stages of labour etc and when to go to hospital and the pros and cons of the different pain relief availaible... I was planning to have an epidural but after yesterday I am quite scared of it now, will see how it goes on the day lol......

Hutchy glad you've seen the hospital. My trip around the labour ward was booked in for the Wednesday after I had Theo... I'd seen it by then! I was convinced before I had Theo that I'd want every drug going, including an epidural, but just had 1 shot of diamorphine (which was brilliant as I went to sleep between contractions) and gas and air. My mum mentioned epidural at one point, but by then I couldn't bear the thought of sitting still for long enough to get it put in, so did without. I won't say it didn't hurt, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated!
Good luck this week, are you having your stitch taken out?

Think I will go with the flow with regards to the pain and if it gets too bad then will probably opt for the epidural.....
Have to be at hospital tomorrow morning for 8.30 to have the stitch removed..... not sure yet what will happen, think they will remove it and then monitor me for a few hours... Me and DH are hoping it will kick start things even though we are both now getting scared!!! My bags will be in the car just in case.... I will try and keep you updated!!!

Hutchy, good idea to take your bags with you. Look at you though, you're nearly 36 weeks which is absolutely fabulous! Hope that baby stays in just a few more days to get nicely browned off at the end of its cooking period (lol). So excited for you, it's going to happen soon!
Wouldn't it be funny if you went over due now... Well, maybe not for you! Will be thinking of you

Just a quickie as we are all ill in our house!!!
Hutchy - loads of luck for tomorrow. Don't worry about the epidural I was terrified cos they pushed my from natural to c-section. I remember when they told me I started crying my eyes out - emotions/hormones I think!!! My anethatist (spl?) was fantastic. Can't wait to see some pics of baby H !
Hi to everyone - going back to my bed for a little while !

Thanks girls, I am hoping and praying that I won't be on for a couple of days as I will have had baby Hutchy lol.....
Wendy - please do not wish that on me to go over lol.... I am finding it difficult to walk now as my hips and pelvis are quite uncomfortable, I am hoping it is cause the baby is engaged!!!
Robbo - I am probably going to end up with an epidural tbh, although I will try and avoid if possible as don't want the numbness and I want to feel the urge to push too..
Ali - I can't wait to meet baby Hutchy too and find out what flavour it is after all this time..
Reds - hope you are right and the baby comes at the weekend or before lol....
Jules - thanks for your message...
Just going through my bags now to make sure I haven't forgotten anything!!!

Hey Girls
I am back home... stitch out and came out very easily and quickly, didn't need gas and air why they did it so wasn't too bad... I have a bit of spotting that I just need to keep an eye on, other than that nothing is happening lol... Baby isn't engaged yet although is low down so hoping we are not kept waiting too long!!

Hi ladies,
Hutchy – I’m glad today went well & Baby Hutchy didn’t make a sudden appearance. You sound like you & DH are feeling very prepared for their arrival. Other than feeling uncomfortable for mummy it won’t do any harm for Baby H to keeping cooking away. Have you decided on names for sure? We were sure on a boy’s name, but there were 2 in the running if they were a girl.
You asked about work. I am back on 24th April. I shall be doing 16hrs a week. Prior to Zach I used to do 18.5hrs in my NVQ role as well as 8hrs as a carer for one lady. So less hrs & less money, but lots of time with my boy. I have been in for a few Keeping in Touch days to ease me in gently, ha! Take care x
Rosemummy - Hope all is going well with your return to work & Esme & Alex are starting to settle at nursery. Hope Esme is feeling better & the rest of you remained bug free x
Robbo – Hope DS is over his viral infection. How’s nursery going? Hope all is well so you can go to Skeggy this weekend. That’ll definitely put a smile on DS’s face. What a bonus it will be if you get some gorgeous spring weather, thinking of you x
Julie – You’re very quiet. Hope all is well with you & the twins, & the awful sickness has passed, thinking of you x
Briony – Hope Hattie had a great 3rd birthday. What a lovely age. I bet she is full of character x
Ali – Hope all is good with you & life isn’t too hectic x
Janette - Hope you are having some nice Spring weather x
Love to Alex & Smellycat x
Hi to Wendy & Reds x
AFM – All is good here. DH is off this week. It’s good to have him around more & Zach thinks its great fun. Not sleeping too well, think it’s just work on my mind & the changes that are ahead. Other than that every day has me laughing & smiling at Zach’s interactions x
Love Nicky x |

Just a wquickie as I am at work. Oh Hutchy so pleased to hear that everything has gone OK. It is now so close and so exciting.! Can't wait!
Robbo hope things are settling a bit...try not to worry too much I know it is easy to say.
AFM I have had a horrid week. Obv Esme was poorly at the weekend but she is OK now, but ALex was terrible on MOnday during the day and at midnight I decided to take him to hospital (again) as he couldn't breathe at all and his temp was 40 degrees even after calpol and nurofen...anyway he was admitted to the childrens ward and given hourly nebules which didn't work very well his sats were in the low 80s (should be 95% at least really) and he was so wheezy. They have diagnosed bronchiolitis but I don't think they really know what is wrong, more oral steroids at a higher dose and a steroid inhaler with a review in 8 weeks time. he is home but I had to ring my Mum to come and help so I could go to work...well then big DD got a high temp and so she has been off school yesterdya and today too - cough sore throat and vomiting. I just can't believe it. Alex is still on 4 hourly inhalers until the weekend. I was up last night at 12, 2, 4 and 4.30 what a nightmare. Sorry for the me post I just dfo't seem to be getting anywhere at all and I just am praying, praying for a good nights sleep...it just isn't going to happen though and it is soul destroying esp now I am back at work. Sniff sniff.
You have to hurry up Hutchy to give me something to feel cheerful about.
Sniff once more |

Rosemummy,
Your poor littlies (and not-so-littlie) It's so horrid when they're poorly and not sleeping as that's the best cure for lots of things. If it's of any consolation, I too have been woken lots in the night lately - usually 3 times, for a variety of reasons. I just wish I could be allowed to sleeeeeeeep. It just makes life so hard when you're exhausted, doesn't it?
lol
