Cheers girls.
Crikey, I actually have a tear rolling down my cheek. It only feels like yesterday when I learned we needed IVF, and walking out of the clinic after we had our embryo replaced and I felt like I wanted to lay down with my legs up in the air for a week! I felt so alone and afraid. After our BFP the further along I got in pregnancy, the more I hoped this baby would stay with us, and you girls were the most amazing support. Since Isabel arrived I have been a typical worried new mum but I know I can always turn to you girls with any questions I have without fear of being judged or ridiculed and always get the advice and support I need. You are all truly amazing, special people and I will cherish your friendships forever.
Cheers to us all, our beautiful babies and long lasting friendships xxxx

morning ladies,

pp love our signature picture, your little man looks so snuggly

last night made me very emotional and then my firend turned up on my doorstep with her little boy after being away for 7 weeks, it was so lovely to see them, cant believe how much he's grown, i usually see him at least 3 times a week so i was missing him very much.

well today were attempting our first big road trip, were going to wolverhampton to visit steves family and stopping the night, its amazing how much stuff we need. loads of bottles (for the expressed milk) so we dont need the steriliser, pump, loads of clothes n nappies etc incase shes sick or explodes, travel cot, blankets, snowsuit incase its really cold, cardi if its a little cold. pram then our stuff. car is gonna be jam packed, for 1 night away lol then steves back to work monday and if im honest im looing forward to it so i can get settled into a routine Smile

alice is finely settling down with her sleep, i think the infacl is helping as her tummy is a bit better so she can eat as much as she likes instead of screaming half way though so then she can sleep for longer, so deff gonna keep it up.

hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

Hi everyone!

Well I've just had another good cry reading everyone's messages from last night! It's been so lovely having everyone's support and friendship - I'm so glad hubby made me join the BB when I was having my 2ww wobbles! I'm so looking forward to meeting you all and finally putting some faces to names. We had our letter from Care today asking to know the outcome of our pregnancy - treatment seems so long ago now! I drive past the clinic nearly every week (it's on the way to my parents' house, I don't go past it for fun!) and each time I see it I get quite emotional - this time last year we thought we'd never be parents and look at us now!

Hannah - Good luck with your trip. We had to visit my brother last week and the car was jam packed full of stuff. The beauty of breastfeeding is not having to take sterilisers/bottles everywhere we go, but on the other hand it means I need to pack extra tops - I still haven't got the hang of dribble free feeding and I always leak on the other side and it comes through my breast pads!

Tazzy - Haha! At least you've now got D to blame when it is you! Lol! Wink glad the infacol is working!

Bunny - Hope your little bundle is keeping you busy. I'm looking forward to hearing all about him/her. Hope you and dh are well and that Marta is recovering well.

PP - I love your photo, it's so cute!

M seems to be having another growth spurt. All she's done today is eat and sleep. We've Hjust managed to get her to have 20 mins of playtime but now she's feeding again! Bless her! I'm hoping we have a better night than last night, it took forever to settle her and I felt so guilty for feeling frustrated that we couldn't all just go to sleep. My pregnancy paranoia has turned into permanent maternal guilt! My friend bought her this bear that makes 'womb sounds' so I think we might resort to that tonight to see if it soothes her, though dh and I are a little skeptical about these sounds!

Hope everyone else is well and that the babies are all behaving themselves!

Hi we have a baby daughter!
She's beautiful! We are in cloud nine still even though I'm very tired which you all understand about I'm sure!
Her name is Amber Scarlet Beau Reeves she weighed 7lb1oz and was born 19/4/12 at 5.07pm

I'm really sorry I've tried to get on here but it's dodgy connection as I'm still in hospital. The labour was long and unfortunately ended in a C-Section for poor Marta she's doing great though as we've been visiting each other in hospital we're close by each other. Marta picked up an infection after it being so long for the birth from when they broke her waters and Amber had to have tests and be on antibiotics just incase we get the results this afternoon. Fingers crossed its negative I just want to go home. Lloyds been staying locally and they extended visiting for him.

Hi Bunny!

Congratulations again! I hope everything is ok with Amber's test results and they let you go home soon. It's a shame your dh can't stay in hospital with you, but it's good they've extended visiting hours for him. I know how you feel about wanting to go home, it was bad enough when I was recovering from my c-section, but when you're fit and well yourself it must be even more frustrating!

Poor Marta's had a really tough time of it, hasn't she? I really hope she's ok. It's such an amazing thing to do for someone, I really admire her. It's nice you can visit each other while you're in. How long will she have to stay in hospital?

How is the breast feeding going? I hope all that expressing did the trick!

I really hope you get home soon - you might even be home by now! Fingers crossed!

tazzy - Alice is such a load trumper too lol

katy - i find im usually ok with my tops during the day but if i express i spill on them and in the night i leak everywhere. i have just changed from tommee tippee pads to asda own brand and so far the seam much better they dont clump up and make you look lumpy like i found the tommee tippee's did. dont feel guilty about wanting her to sleep, i am exactly the same as Alice is very unsettled in the evenings still. the worst is when shes hungry but every time i put her to the boob she does 2 sucks then screams, i know its cos her tummy hurts but it really frustrates me, but i have to say the infacol seam to be helping this, ive upped her to 2 droppers for feeds between 5pm-11.30pm as thats when she's worst. did you try that bear? how did it go?

bunny, i wondered what she was being tested for, i saw on fb that her results were negative and you are home so congratulations, i bet our thrilled to bits, she really is a beautiful girl.

tazzy and katy are you two going to put a pic on here of your little monkeys?

well for the last 3 nights alice has gone to bed around 11-12 and only got up at 3-4ish and 6-7ish so another night of this would be lovely. wish me luck, nighty night xx

Hi,

Bunny - Great to hear you're home! Hope you have a wonderful first night all together!

Hannah - I've been really lucky so far - M's sleeping pattern has been 10-11, 2-3 then 6-7 ish, but this weekend she's been feeding much more frequently and for longer, day and night. I'm exhausted! M's usually quite settled so it has been a bit of a culture shock but in the grand scheme of things it hasn't been that bad!

I'm hoping I can now slide M off the boob and into bed without waking her up... I can't wait to sleep tonight!

Night night! X

Hiya ladies and babies!!!

Well, had a 2nd bad nyt with D. He just didn't wanna settle after his feeds and cries out in pain about every 10 mins due 2 the colic Sad HV beeen 2day and said that he looks perfect! Jus 2 continue with the infacol and also he has had a massive growth spurt! He is now 7lb 11 when last week he was 6lb 11!! That explains the crying and regular feeding throughout the day and night!!
HV was also goin on about contraception again! I jus listened!!

Hope ur all ok Smile I usually post on my phone which doesn't allow me 2 put a pic up but will get on my laptop later 2 try and get D's pic on Smile

Tazzy - Daniyal is absolutely gorgeous! He's growing really well - you must be so pleased! Hope he settles a bit better tonight so you both get some rest.

Hannah - I've tried to put a pic up but I can't get it to work! I'll keep trying!

M is feeding every hour and a half during the day, but she went 4 and a half hours between feeds last night which was brilliant. My HV told me to count how many times she feeds in 24hrs then try to get as many of them into daylight hours as we can so that she starts to sleep longer at night and it seems to be starting to work.

Hope everyone is well and that babies are all behaving so that everyone can get some sleep!
