Hiya
I had my 1st ICSI cycle with PGD in November 2011, and glutton for punishment that I am, have come back for another go just 3 months later!
I'll be on long protocol again and start DR this Thursday, 8th March - seems that there are posts for ladies who've already got to EC or ET, and some for those not starting for a month or two, but none for any of us starting now - so if you are, please join me! I got a lot of support from the group I start last October and be nice if it happens again!

| Hi TJ - I started DR on the 3rd. Hoping this time is the one for you. Good luck for the commencement of your injections on Thursday. We are thawing our lone 2 day old embryo x |

Hi Konley
Your board name rings a bell, sure we must have been cycling or at least posting, at the same time last year! Guess the process for FET is quicker as there's no stimming stage? Assume you down reg and then they have to give you something to thicken your womb lining do they? Have no experience of FET at all, only had our 1st ICSI in November and lost all our embies so starting from scratch again - let me know how it works for you, be really interested to hear!
Stay in touch and good luck

TJ - We overlapped on the November thread last year (very fleetingly) . Our fet works out near enough the same amount of time as a fresh cycle. Once I have had my DR scan, I start taking hrt. I never knew your outcome until now, that must have been very hard going. Kudos to you for getting back on this rollercoaster so quickly. I had a faint positive on OTD, but turned out to be a biochemical, shortest lived euphoria ever. Hey ho! Would be very interested to see how your story unfolds too x |

Thanks Konley, I've just had a look at the March/April thread and saw you on there - maybe didn't need to do this new thread as well but nice to have a couple of different excuses to stop working!
Think we both had a horrid time last time, for different reasons. We had 8 embies, all tested for my chromosomal disorder, on day 3 and on day 5, they all came back as non-viable for transfer. The shock was that only 1 of the 8 actually had my disorder, the others all had multiple chromosomal abnormalities and we were gutted. They are hoping it was just very rare and extremely bad luck hence why they recommended one more go - but if the same thing happens this time, they're 80% sure that my eggs have aged prematurely (I'm 37 and DH 44) and this could therefore be the last shot we have with my own eggs, thats why I'm so much more nervous this time. We all handle things different ways don't we? I had 4 mc's to get my son and after every one, the way I dealt with it was to get straight back to it again, thats just my way - and me and hubby arren't getting any younger and if it is my eggs, they're not either!!
I'm really sorry about your boichemical pg, that sounds cruel and you must have been heartbroken - hopefully, they've saved the best one til last, patiently waiting to get nestled in your belly!
Lets get through this together! |

| Hey TJ - You never know we may get some more ladies joining us, but if not we have the original thread too. I was planning on jumping back and forth as need be! Yes we both had a horrid time for very different reasons. I did bounce back fairly quickly though. I tend to live in the here and now, never looking backwards, and until getting on this rollercoaster never particularly looking forward either. Here's hoping what happened for you first time around was 100% rare, and won't be repeated again. I can totally understand your nerves, don't see how you could not be. I'm 38 in one months time <gulp>, you can just hear that clock ticking in the background!!! Would be a lovely ending if our last little frostie was the one, but I feel overly sentimental when I adopt this stance. Looking forward to sharing the ups and downs of this journey Treacle x |

Are you keeping up with all these boards Konley? Hard work isn't it?!!!
Don't worry about posting on this one, noticed this morning that there are so many others now that easier to stick to the ones that have more ladies on them! Hope all is well with you? Day 5 of DR for me today so long way to go but as least moving in the right direction
