I'm not sure if Milo has got the pox again, he had it at 12m and had a bad case spots wise.
He has now got very similar spots clusters and blister like not itchy and he's not unwell has had them for a few days I thought at first it was the heat but now they are very angry and look like they are going to blister.
The problem is we have gone abroad and don't know whether to take him to the Drs or not, if it is the pox then don't need to do anything but if not want to know what it is.
Can anyone think of anything that it could be? It's too red and angry for molescum.

Hi hun my dd had the same sort of thing last year and i thought straight away chicken pox but the next day i took her to doctors just to be sure and he said it was hand and mouth it has the same symptoms blistery spots but the only difference she had them on the palms of her hands and soles of her feet something i don't think chicken pox does she was poorly with it and feverish i would def go to doctor just to get it checked and for advice before travelling i also know hand and mouth is contagious like chicken pox aswell.

My DD had chicken pox twice. The first time she was really poorly with it but the second time she was fine in herself and had less spots.
I would get it checked out just to make sure as I know some airlines won't let you fly when you have the pox.
Hope hes ok and it doesn't spoil your hols x |

Too late I was already away! The spots are much less angry and red today showed our neighbour here she said chicken pox straight away there are 15ish spots. Luckily not in a hotel so can keep him away from people, it's not on his hands or feet just his trunk.
Thanks girls |

Hi Louise,
I have had chickenpox twice. There was about 15 years between the 2 episodes though and i had had it mildly as a child, so I guess immunity had worn off.
I had it very badly the 2nd time round and I was 38wks pregnant!
I have heard that there are different strains??? This might explain it. Hope it clears up quickly.
Love Maryrose xx |
