Yay Wendy! I am thrilled for you!

North West ladies, a Llandudno meet up would be fab - I can't ever do a Monday or Friday and need a lot of notice so I can schedule my work around a day off. Shall we think about a date?

As for me and my hospital tours, I am going in about twice a month at the mo but going in for longer next week in an attempt to sort things out longer term. I am going to need help for the rest of my life but hopefully not as often as I need at the moment. The hope is to eventually manage it through oral meds at home rather than the need for stays and IV's etc.

Well ladies, today was the day! I'm delighted to announce the safe arrival of Emma Grace by caesarean section at 1.06p.m today. She weighed 2lb 8oz and came out crying, which was the loveliest sound.

I'm a bit knackered and really emotional but wanted you ladies to join in celebrating our news.

She's in an incubator, and has been put on c-pap just to give her a little rest after a couple of hours of breathing for herself and they've said that, all being well, we might be able to have our first cuddle tomorrow!

Lots of love from Mummy Manda xxx

Lovely, lovely news. She sounds like a strong and healthy little girl. So pleased for you.

PS. I met a perfect little baby girl today, who was born at 30 wks. She weighed about 3lbs when she was born and had just come out of hospital today.

Nicster - get your ears checked out, hun. That is exactly how I feel when I am coming down with an attack of labyrithitis. Its a nasty, nasty complaint and makes you feel so unwell. Have you had a virus in your household or might you suffer from mild hay fever? Both are triggers for it.
It also makes me feel really crabby as I can't concentrate on anything and sound is distorted, though lately that particular symptom has been so mild that I've missed it and not known what was wrong with me for a few days.
Stemetil works every time for me. Its a wonder drug in my book!

Love Maryrose xxx

Aw ladies, thank you so much, I am excited.

Amanda, wow fabulous news! It's a beautiful name. I'm always wrong with the sex of babies as well, although I did have a pink feeling in the last week or two! lol. Hope you get your cuddles tomorrow and well done you for holding onto her until you were nearly 30 weeks, that's fabulous. Hope you're feeling better soon as well.

I think June is the start of better things to come for all of us lovely ladies, after a rocky start to the year.

Flossy, so sorry that you're having to do your magical mystery tour of hospitals, but I'm glad that you're getting some support. I really hope that your stay next week can help to make you less dependent on hospital stays. We're all here for you. I think you are amazingly strong.

Nicster, I was going to mention ears as well when you said you were dizzy. I know Jeni has had problems recently as well as Maryrose. Hope you get better soon. Worth getting checked out. Health farm sounds fab!

Maryrose, hope you start to get some support for you, to help you both with Olly and dealing with your DH.

Hi to everyone else and thank you all for your support and encouragement. I don't want to get too excited about this cycle as I know how easily it can all come crashing down, but feeling tentatively hopeful that out of those 8 embies there's a sibling for Theo.

Wendy x

Maryrose, that's exactly how I feel, all distorted and really really crabby, been like a bear with a sore head ! I think I need a docs appointment, can you get stemetil over the counter ?

Oh Wendy, I'm so chuffed for you, you sound so upbeat and that's lovely to hear, I hope your right and the second half of the year is better for all of us x

Anyone watching the football ? X

Nicster - Yes, my dh! Evil or Very Mad

Its the same drug as they give you for travel sickness but it may be a different dosage. I would pop to the chemist to check and then make doc's app.

We've just had a RAF helicopter circle our house 3 times and I kid you not, it was metres from our rooftop. Scared the pants off us all and not the best when you've just put a tot down to sleep. Evil or Very Mad

The neighbour, who is a pilate, was spotted waving from their climbing frame with earphones on. Rolling Eyes Men!!! He used to be based at our local base so am guessing its connected.

Amanda - I've posted to you on facebook but I am so pleased for you. Baby Emma is just beautiful, you must be so very proud of her - and yourself. I love the name you have chosen for her (and Bella shares her middle name!) and she really looks like she suits it. Ps. I just knew she was a girl, they do love to give us a run for our money!!!!

Wendy - fabulous news from you too. I also feel very optimistic for you.......have you decided about how many embryos to put back this time?

Nicster - the dizziness is debilitating and so wearing. I still have it (tho much reduced to be fair) and it drives me mad. I have just booked for my second session to try a manoeuvre that should make it go away. Initially it was diagnosed as an ear infection then labyrinthitis and then BPPV. It's been with me since Jan. Arrghhh. I'd advise you get to the doctors and get a diagnosis. I tried stemetil but they made me feel even worse with spiteful headaches and bad constipation ....but most others seem to find them effective

Mae - I hope you had a fab holiday. I wish I lived nearer you ladies and could come to the meet up. Boo

Flossy - I admire you so much and wish you an easier time very soon

Ali - are you hanging on in there Lovely lady?

Caroline - I was just thinking about where you'd got to the other day. It sounds like you have your hands full with Little miss poopy paws.....mmmmm, lovely!!!!!!

Maryrose - Flossy's advice sounds Really good tho admittedly not an easy course for you

Soph and Possum - I hope you're settling into your new homes

Charlie - I hope you're enjoying being up north

Rachel - how's the potty training coming? And the extension?

Taz - any progress on the adoption front for you

Julie - how are those little bundles of fun doing? Are you managing to eat enough now?

Got to go ladies, apologies if I've not included you in the personals but my mind is mashed banana

Jeni
Got to go

Love

Amanda, I'm soooooo thrilled for you! CONGRATULATIONS! You did it! Emma Grace sounds like a very sweet (and determined) little girl, which is great news. I'm so happy for you and your family! xxx

Wendy, get you with your eight embies! Those are fantastic results. I really hope that there's a sibling in there for Theo, too... Best of luck to you! I'll be stalking you to see how everything goes this week!

Sorry for lack of personals. I actually have more work to do tonight and it's 10pm... DH is cross with me.

Love and hugs to all,

Edenrose

Maryrose, is your dh a pharmacist then ? Didn't realise that, I'd pictured him as more of a bank manager ! X

Jen, debilitating is definately the word, last night I just had to go to bed I felt like I'd had too much to drink !! Just feel so drained by it. Everything seems so foggy that you have to concentrate twice as hard on everything and that's so draining in itself.

Nicster - you have given me the giggles!
When I said "yes, my dh" it was in answer to "anyone watching the footie?"

You were along the right tracks - he's an accountant.

Hi lovely ladies,
Sorry I've not posted for a while... Jack's keeping me busy during the day and am often knackered in the evening. I've just had a read through the last few pages to catch up so just a few personals.

Amanda, a GIRL!!! Congratulations, I'm so happy for you. I hope you get that first cuddle today. Such an amazing and emotional time for you two. Try and rest when you can. xxx

Wendy, wow, what a great result for you. I hope those embryos continue to do well. xx

Maryrose, sorry you're having a hard time with DH. I hope he's being cooperative and wants to improve your relationship as much as you do. xx

Caroline, I couldn't help but laugh at your poo incident. I'm sure you didn't think it was funny though...yuk!

Sorry for lack of more personals but I've been thinking of you all.
We move into our rental on Friday and over the weekend. Looking forward to getting all done.
Jack's doing well but has taken to squeeling...it seems to be for no apparent reason. It's SO loud and I don't know how to make him stop. We've tried time-out in his room but I think he's probably too young to get the idea of that. When I tell him firmly to stop, he laughs and thinks it's funny and just continues. Any ideas..?

Love to you all,
Possum xx
