Hi Whalley,
If test said positive and you are 12p transfer then it is very unlikely to be false result. Bleeding will not affect HPT result. Only thing that can give false positive is trigger shot which is out of system after 7-10 days so can not be that. There have been women who get positive and it is chemical pregnancy but have not experienced this myself and think that is blood tests not HPT. You need to keep feet up and test first thing in the morning. My advice is use a digital test as result is accurate and can not be misinterpreted. HCG levels in wee will be lower when you have been drinking all day.
Lots of women bleed in first few months of pregnancy so could be very normal for you. My mum had periods up until she was 4 months with my brother. Keep taking meds and rest rest rest. Try and keep feet above heart level (lie down with feet up) this will help slow the bleeding. If bllood is brown it is old blood and should not worry. Any blood can be normal in first trimester of pregnancy and I had a bleed at 17 weeks. I know you are worried but sweetie you have a positive test so things are looking really hopeful. Also the strength of the line apparenty means nothing. Look at me earlier post about the official test. My line was barely visable so did a clear blue and said 2-3 weeks.
I will keep everything crossed for you.

Hi Lisa, I did not change diet at all. I am vegitarian so lots of stuff on the list I don't eat anyway. Only thing I did was reduce my caffiene. I also ate nuts including peanuts all the way through 2ww and pregnancy. I did avoid brie and don't like stilton but I think if you have a healthy balanced diet it will lead to a healthy balanced baby.
Hi Kcare great to see you here.
Whalley I think that is great news and a cautious congratulations to you. Trigger shot is well gone now and 3 positive tests in 2 days is brilliant. I am looking forward to your updates and remember feet up.
Love to all other ladies.

Hi Lisa and all,
I think the best way to look at it is that women get pregnant every day (i know we envy them) but they continue to eat rubbish, smoke and drink before they even know they are pregnant. I used to be a drug and alcohol specialist nurse working with crack and heroin addicts. They had very very poor diets and obviously the drugs did not help. The babies were generally fine. Of course some had withdrawel problems but that was with their mums using class a drugs all the way through pergnancy.
I am of course not advocating that you use drugs or drink or smoke and of course risks are higher if you do. What I am trying to say is that we really lose perspective when going through IVF and especially in the 2ww. If this does not work out for you then I rpomise it will be nothing that you did.
I really thought I had messed things up with lugging suitcases and a 3 yesr old around as well as the death of my grandmother and driving 500 miles in 18 hours 2 days after transfer. I am pregnant so it goes to show that if embie is going to stick it will stick. On my last BFP I also did not really rest much. Carried on as normal and have my little boy.
I know it is really tough time for everyone just wanted to try and allieviate some of your worries.
Hope that helps someone.
Lots of love and sticky baby dust to all still waiting.

Hi Jazz,
Well wot can i say other than thankyou!! That certainly puts alot of things into perspective. To be honest i used to smoke but cant even stand being around it now and really dont understand how women are willing to put there unborn babies at risk through smoking and dont even get me started on drugs... disgusting!!
I know its all down 2 nature I just hope i can be half as strong as all the ladies on here if i am not lucky 1st time and try again. You definately are a GREAT example of a lovely ending for a deserved lady though!!

Hey ladies
Just a quick one to say Hi to you all really. Ive been sooo tired the last few days, doesn't bode well for going back to work on Monday lol!!
Great news about scan date Hunny!! I wish I didn't have to wait so long but like you say, every clinic is different!!
Jazz-You have amazing words of advice for everyone!! Hope you're doing ok x
Kcare-Woohoo, you're PUPO!! Wishing you lots of luck x
Whalley-Sounds good honey!! A positive is a positive!! Keep those feet up and I'll keep my fingers crossed x
Lisa-Jazz is right with everything she has said. I didn't change my diet at all although I haven't drunk anything caffienated in around 6 years, it gave me migraines. If I ever have it now it plays havoc with my bladder lol!!
Gonna love you all and leave you. Sorry if I've missed anyone xXx |

Hey ladies,
Had my transfer yesterday afternoon and I've been exhausted every since....did anyone else feel like this? I expect it's the progesterone. Apart from that I'm feeling fine, taking it easy and doing quite a bit of meditation and positive thinking. Had some twinges but that's it.... Trying not to symptom spot! Xx |

Good afternoon all
Kcare & Lisa - congrats on being pupo hope your embies are getting cuddled up. My OTD is friday and its gone so slow and i dont think ive ever googled as much in my life but its not always a good idea. DH has put me on a google ban.
I dont know if its the utrogestan pessaries but the last 2 days i have been really bloated and constipated so ive tried fibregel and seems to have worked a tiny bit but still mega bloated and uncomfortable, boobs are sore and sleeping and eating loads xx |

Hi everyone
Thought i'd jump in and say hi...so comforting to know that others are going as mad as I am sypmtom spotting and that there are some good news stories on here too. Good luck to you all!
This is my second 2ww, test is on Mon 2nd. We've got 2 day 3 embies on board and I'm on pessaries as well as on steroids, Clexane, aspirin and oestridiol so don't know what sypmtoms are caused by what. Never had a bfp before. I've been lucky and felt fine throughout, I've got bags of energy becaue of the steroids but I'm sleeping fine which is good. Taking it easy is hard as have to keep asking yourself is this allowed, or what harm will this do but some good advice on this thread.
I've been working from home since ET on Thu and beginning to get fed up so back in the office tomorrow.
We got bad news yesterday from Care that our other 2 embies in the lab we were trying to get frozen had started to degenerate and not good for freezing. Myself and DH are shattered by it as it's exactly the same as last time, they progressed up to blasto then tail off. At least have some comfort that the 2 in the lab were not as good as the 2 put back in me, we kind of knew they wouldn't make it to freeze. It has taken the excitement we had away and just feel this will be a bfn like every other month. I suppose the one thing we all have to have in this game is that tiny little bit of hope that is just jumping up and down in the corner of your mind trying not to be forgotten!
Take car al |

Hi Ladies,
Hope you are all doing well and welcome to all newbies. Hope the 2ww is not treating you to badly.
No real change here. Sometimes even forget I am pg until get a twinge or feel a bit odd. Just been busy all day preparing for funeral tomorrow. It is mums birthday today which is difficult. I sent her some flowers and a card as felt that house would be full of flowers for Grandma and wanted her to have something for herself. We will be leaving early tomorrow and getting back late so wont be on the boards. Hope you are all well.
Lots of Love
