My husband was diagnosed with azoospermia about 7 months ago. His FSH back then was 29 and LH was 20. Now 7 months later his FSH has gone up to 49 and his LH went up to 24. Our RE asked us whether we could possibly have changed something in our lifestyle which may have had an impact on my husband's hormone levels. I told her that he had started taking multivitamins which are specifically for males who are trying to conceive and she didn't think that there was any harm.

However, recently I was reading some of the Forums here and I noticed that Care is against any chinese herbal medicine. The multivitamins my husband is taking contain Maca.

Could this be the reason why my husband's FSH levels have increased so much in such a short time? If there was any damage, is this reversible?

Dwrl1, welcome to the bulletin boards.

Sadly, the "mens" page doesn't get used as much, so you might find that you don't get much response as not many people see your post.

You might be better off amalgamating your posts and moving them to the "general" section.

Best of luck,

Amanda x
