AHHHH! Just written a long post and lost it.
Briony - so pleased to hear your news. It's wonderful. Here's to a smooth and uneventful next 8 months or so. xx
Jules - sounds like stress city finding the clinic. At least you know where it is now so it should hopefully be smooth sailing tomorrow. Good luck for later and tomorrow.
Nicster - glad you are having a lovely holiday.
Edenrose - I read you post on the other thread and have been meaning to answer you. I hope things are progressing well for you. I've had two transferred each time and got one bambino from each. With Rory the clinic asked me several times on the morning of the transfer if I was prepared for twins. I think the quality of the embryo's was really good. Obviously Rory had other ideas and decided there was only room for one that size in my tum! I'm sure you will make the decision that is right for you. Keep us posted then we can support from the side-lines.
Love to everyone I have missed.
Nothing to report from here. I want to know where the lovely weather is that we were promised? It's bucketing it down here. It's a good job I ignored the weather forecast and didnt get my legs out for work. It's cold as well.
Well, better go and be productive.
Love to all,
Jacquie xx |

I just wanted to have a quick read before taking Jack to music group and post later but just had to do a quick post.
Back later everyone.

Right, home from music group, Jack in bed so time to catch up.
Jules, goodluck for tomorrow!
Maryrose, Fab news you've got a cleaner. Great idea and it will surely make your life a little easier.
Soph, sorry to hear you're not having such a great time staying at your parents. Such a shame they can't just relax a bit when the kids are around and play with them and just enjoy spending time with them. Very sad. Bet you can't wait to get home. Very funny incident with the car and police though, really made me giggle!
Elizabeth, it's great that you're allowed to change the name of little one. Some names out there are just too bizarre and sometimes just cruel! I'm sure that you'll come up with the perfect name soon. Exciting times for you!
Nicster, not sure how far along in your cycle you are but I hope it's all going well so far.
Amanda, SO happy you've got Emma home. How are you doing?
Can't thinks of anymore personals at the moment but thinking of everyone I've not mentioned.
Quick update from me; DH started his new job today and is staying up there til the weekend as we haven't found a house yet.
Been busy house hunting (rental property) online and have not been impressed with what you get for your money! Some of the houses out there are in such a poor state and still want as much rent as what we're paying at the moment! DH is looking at a modern townhouse today that came to us via a friend of a friend but it will probably be out of our price range.
Jack's doing o.k but has come down with a bad cough and a runny nose so he's not sleeping great.
Must really upload a new photo of him soon. Might try that tonight..
Bye for now everyone.
Love to you all.

Been really ill, Ladies with gastric flu. OMG! it was dire. Haven't been as ill in years and years and can't recall ever having had anything like that.
Improved today though rather weak and feeble! PRAYING that Olly does not get it...
Love Maryrose xxx |

| Maryrose - hope you are getting back on your feet (and away from the toilet) and that Olly is not affected. How Hannah manages to stick poopy fingers in her mouth and remain A-OK is a mystery to me - did it again today as she 'helped' me to remove her nappy. Gross! I painted a big smile on my face as I washed her hands in the bidet (finally found a use for the stupid thing). |

AFM it was 4 years ago that I was in Care Manchester having my last ever EC. Had lots of cuddles today from my little miracle, and he's now happily warbling away upstairs. No idea what his toys are up to! |

Hi all,
Yes, it's true - Emma's home!!!! She got home on Monday evening. That's why I've not been on much lately as I was rooming in at the hospital, getting her to feed. She finally grasped it on Friday, tube out on Saturday and there's no stopping her!
We've spent the last couple of days getting used to each other, and it's absolutely lovely to have her home. Just as it should be.
Briony, I know I've said already, but I really am over the moon for you. It's lovely to see the next batch of ladies picking up the BFP baton! Nicster and Edenrose - you next!
Can't remember who mentioned Charlie, but she must be due anytime. Think her due date may have passed, as I'm sure her baby boy was due 4 weeks before Emma, and Emma is 37 weeks on Sunday
On the topic of names, Emma could only ever have been Emma. Whilst we were trying, but before we got pregnant, DH had a dream where he was walking along holding the hand of a little blond girl called Emma. So it was meant to be!
Here's a piccy of Emma all ready for home in her car seat. She almost disappeared in it!

Amanda ... I'm not sure that the car seat would have provided much protection in an accident ... she would have just slipped out of the harness!
Enjoy having her home finally.
Love,
Maple

Amanda,
What a totally lovely picture! It must be so wonderful to be home as a family - we were only in hospital for a week and that was hard enough, so I can only imagine how tough it has been for you. Enjoy every burp, dirty nappy and disturbed night! I actually miss those days, though love all the new stuff is totally fab too.
Get DH to take another pic of the 2 of you - just love your 'happy Mummy' photo from a few weeks ago.

OMG Briony you secret little squirrel!!!! đŸ˜ƒđŸ˜ƒCongratulations to you and your DH! Wonderful news!
Jules - everything is crossed for you to be next on the list!!
Amanda - how wonderful that little Emma is home. Gorgeous pic too!!
Hope you are feeling better Maryrose. I can empathise, its felt like bug after bug here since S started nursery..
I dont think I had better join in the name suggestions as I do like unusual (yes sometimes even Geldof-esque) names and I guess we picked a fairly unusual name for little miss. We love her name but I do sometimes wonder what people really think...
Hope everyone else is doing ok. Bed beckons here
Night night love pika...xx |

Oooooh, Amanda, I love Emma's new portrait in the car seat! She is so perfect. So sweet. Well done, you!! Great news that she's feeding like a champion, too; she'll start adding on the pounds (and baby rolls) in no time! xxx
Jules, good luck to you! I really hope your one miracle follie does the trick...
Maryrose, I'm sorry to hear you've got gastric flu; it sounds awful -- and exactly what you don't need right now. I hope that your enormous, handsome houseguest (you know the one I mean, with four legs!) isn't pulling you off your feet...
Hallooo, Caroline! Forgot to say that I loved Hannah's slightly mismatched footwear in the recent photo. Wow, she's going to be quite the rebellious, stylish young lady when she gets a little bit older, isn't she? (Actually, I ought to issue a correction, she is already!!)
Possum, great to hear that your DH is settling into his new job, but I'm so sorry you've got the headache of finding a new place to live again, so soon after your last move. You must be exhausted at holding everything together.
Jacquie, you were a lucky lady indeed to get one perfect baby from each double-transfer of embies! Your donor did you proud. Did you have blasts transferred, or were they day 3 embies? Just curious...
Big shout-outs to VIP, Maple, Jeni, Briony, Rach, and anyone else I've neglected! I have to go straight to bed tonight; up at 5:30am and out the door by 6:30am to interview a big cheese in Israel. Sadly, I have to do this interview by phone, but I'll get there this fall, I reckon, unless I have, ohhhhh, really bad morning sickness!
Love and hugs to all,
Edenrose xxx |
