Hi Ladies

Well Wendy has kindly said I could join you girlies - hope you don't mind me gatecrashing!

Well a bit of background for you - I have severe endo and was told I would never conceive naturally so we had isci in Sept 2003 at Care Nottingham. This failed and we were absolutely devastated but wanted to continue the dream. We decided to go on holiday and start again in the Jan. I started to feel quite ill and went to the docs as I thought there was something wrong after the IVF only to discover I was pregnant with my DS who will be 5 in July.

I then got the endo back with avengence and had to have my right tube removed in Jan 06. We were then thinking we had no chance and were thinking about trying again. We have used no contraception for 5 years and then it has happened and I am now 13 +3 and due 18th Oct 2009. Cannot believe it and I had a scan at 6 weeks as they thought it could be ectopic with the tube issue but everything is fine apart from a few issues with my BP which has never really got better since having my DS. They are monitoring me fortnightly because of this and do not want to be hospitalised again like I was with DS. I had another scan yesterday and all well. I have my next scan on 2nd June.

Well if you have got to the end of that - well done!!! Think I need to read through all your stories to try and catch up!

Hope you don't mind me intruding on your little group?!?

Jackie x

Katie- I've only cheated! Just cut and paste off the internet. Nothing too tricky, although it did take a little while. Did it this morning when I was meant to be cleaning- hence that's why still got bahroom to do!!

Glad your scan went well- saw it on our scans page!

hi all
Wendy- thats great , im so glad your scan went well , maybe you can stop worrying so much now !!! i bet your on cloud 9 !!!

As for me ive had a right weekend i phoned epads on sunday only to be told because of the bank holiday weekend they couldnt fit me until thursday (tommorrow) thankfully the spotting started to slow down and had totally stopped by tues morning , so fingers crossed everything will be fine ,im just trying to keep possitive now , i think i would have gone crazy without the support of my DH , family and friends
Well my EDD is 27th oct , but the midwife said it would likley to be earlier because of them been twins!!!
thanks for adding me to the list
ill update tommorrow

hope everyone else is good , soory for the long all about me post

Kirsty- I hadn't realised you were having twins too!! Derr!!! Hurray another twin mummy!! Glad bleeding slowed down- i have read quite common with twins. All the best for tomorrowxx

Well I have my first parent craft meeting tomorrow!! Exercice and looking after yourself I think. Going on my own as partners not allowed and then seeing the MW aftwerwards, although realised will prob hear the heartbeats and he is going to miss it. Then on another mission to find some jeans. It's going to kill me but I WILL find another pair that fit!!

Morning Everyone,

Katie-Glad your scan went well xxx

Kirsty-I hadn't realised you were having twins either! Glad the bleeding has stopped. Good Luck for your scan if your still going xxx

Caroline-Hope your parent craft meeting and your appointment with the midwife is good xxx

Embarrasing question? Whats your opinion on having sex when your pregnant? I told my dp there was a ban for the first 12 weeks bless him, but because I am such a 'worrier' I still don't want to do the 'deed'. I'm sure that unless you have been through what we have then you wouldn't think twice and in all the books it says its perfectly fine! I am so paranoid!! Embarassed Is it just me that feels like this!

love sunshine

Sunshine.............. Your not on your own i'm nearly 17 weeks but still haven't had any. D/H is deferentially ready but i'm just too scared. I want to wait until 25wks. I think it's a small price to pay for piece of mind.

Kirsty ............. I too didn't realise you was having twins. Hope the bleeding stays away but i've read if your having twins you do tend to bleed. Good luck today xxx

Hope everyone else is well xxxx

Caroline - wow, I love our new thread! You've done a brilliant job, I'd have no idea how to do all those graphics. I'm going to that fit for pregnancy class at RPH in a couple of weeks, you'll have to let me know what it's like.

Wendy & Katie - so pleased that your scans went well yesterday.

Jackie - welcome to the thread, I also have a natural miracle on board!

Sunshine - no sex here either, lol. I'm too scared also, although all the books say it's fine.

Kirsty - good luck today. I've read lots on here about people bleeding with twin pregnancies but it must still be a worry.

Our friends are coming over today. They have a baby who is 2 months old, I'm so excited to see him and get lots of cuddles!

Thanks for your responses about the pains I'd been having, they seem to have settled now. Very Happy

Bye for now, xxx

My My Caroline! You have been a busy lady!!!!!!! Auww it's really nice how you have set the thread up. By the way my due date is 6th October.

Wendy- So pleased that everything went well with your scan and bloods thats fantastic news. You can hopefully try and relax a bit now.

Katie- I am sorry I didn't realise that you were also having a scan yesterday too but I am equally glad that everything is fine and dandy for you too.
You both have excellent low risk factors on the downs front which is fantastic news.

Kirsty I didn't realise you were a twin mummy to be too! Wow it's going to be mad on here! good luck for today.

A big welcome to Jackie, you'll fit right in here. Smile

Caroline - I thought parent cradt session were supposef to be for both partners. Can't you sneak Andrew in when you see the mid wife so that he can here the heart beats too.

Cookie - I had a bad day yesterday with sharp pains in my tummy. I don't think we need to worry, it's all the stretching and moving around our little ones are doing but it does get me worried a little too at times.

I had a really sick day yesterday especially last night while I was at work. I really getting fed up with it now but I get this feeling that it's going to last the whole of my pregnancy.Sad

Gosh there's a million posts on here already and its not even 24 hours old!!
