Hi Purple lovely to hear from you - oohh 10 days how exciting!

Had my 12 week scan and NT test measurement low just waiting for blood trest result for final risk factor but hopefully all ok. Doing much better feel fine now and no more bleeding so beginning to feel like a normal pregnant woman now and told all of work and anyone else I come across!! :0)

Use the doppler every few days and so far always managed to find the HB - its so nice to hear it. Really struggling for work clothes at the moment donlt seem to be able to find any smart trousers that grow with you all I have found have had massive tummy bits that are far too big - the search goes on....

Make sure you let us know when bubba arrives (when you have a minute of course!).

LOL and good luck,
Lucy

OH how I hate that! Just written a massive post and it has disappeared!

Lets start again!!

Ladies! Sorry its been such a while!

Firstly, Purple - Congratulations on your miracle baby boy, what did you call him? How are things going? Got any pics??

Chucy - How are you getting on? How is your little beanie doing love? How far gone are you now?

Rae -Congrats on your sisters little one. How is Thomas doing? How are you enjoying motherhood? Any pics?

Clare - Hey you, I didn't realise you were going back to work so soon - I really feel for you love x Your little ladies are just adorable, are they crawling yet? Question - are you still B-feeding along side food or have you moved on to formula?

As for us... I just love motherhood... want more, but if I don't get another I won't mind as I have my gorgeous girl! Maaike is 6 months now, she is just brilliant and is sitting up, loving all her "real food" and is teething at the mo. I am still B-feeding, mind you that is dependant on how she feeds once those teeth appear! Laughing

I have to say I have never been so busy... I think I'll be going back to work for a rest! But hopefully not for a while yet, hopefully DH will get a better paid job so I can stay off for the whole 12 months.. he has his final interview on thursday, so fingers crossed!!

Love to you all!

Chick xx

Ohh Purple - big congrats to you and DH - let us know your little man's name - what a fab weight - hope that you are getting on ok XX

Hi Rae - glad to hear that Thomas is getting on well - and fab news about your sister XX

Clare - can't believe the girls are 7 months old already - where does the time go?

Chick - glad you are loving being a mummy - and well done on still BF! Hope that your DH did get the job XX

Tracie - not sure if you still come on here - hope you and Josh are getting on well XX

I am doing fine - 20 weeks on Saturday and can't quite believe it! Have had a few stretching pains over the last few weeks but a day of working from home and walking around abit slower seems to have done the trick so hoping they stay away as they were really painful (especially when I went to the loo Embarassed) Got 20 week scan next Weds so hoping everything is ok then I guess it is the home straight!

LOL to you all and your respetive bundles of joy,
Lucy

Hey All,

My LO is called Brayden Smile (pronuonced Bray-den).. thankfully after loosing some weight, he's bounced back and is above his birth weight - and growing length wise like you wouldnt believe!...
Don't know if I told you all, but I am taking 6 months off from work... cant believe that I'm in month 2 already, time is really flying! (dont know if I'll want to go back to work at this rate!)... no pics online atm, wouldnt know where to post it - perhaps I could add it to my signature here or something?

Rae - great news about your sister Smile she must be very excited - and someone for thomas to play with?...you say he's not sleeping? you mean not through the night or just in general?....

Clare - cant believe that you're going back to work... wow... are you having to arrange a babysitter/day care etc? I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do at 6 months....

Chick - sounds like you're doing great!.. you're still B-feeding? how are you finding it?.. I've joined a local support group which is working out well, as it gets me out of the house and gets me chatting to some other mums about this and that etc... How did your DH interview go? Is your 12 months off work paid/unpaid?

Chucy - 20 weeks already - brilliant - how are you finding things apart from the stretching pains... I had those, but they thankfully went away pretty quickly... do you know what the sex of the baby is? are you going to find out or want to keep it a secret?... hope your scan goes well and you get a decent piccie from it!

Tracie, not heard from you in a while, hope things are going well for you too.

Anyway, I'm off to feed, change B... so talk soon!

Hi all.

Thomas 7 months, got 2 teeth at 4 months and still breastfed fine with them but then at 6 months just bit down and would not feed so we wen to bottle then, took to it ok and no more teeth marks for mummy!!! eating proper food now, loves everything apart from avocado, costing a small foutune as trying to do all organic from scratch so DH and i on beans on toast most nights! sitting up and rolling all over the shop, going to have to get my socket covers etc asap! taking full year off work then some hols before back part time so got another 4 months with him which is lovely. will work on a photo but like purple nit sure how to get on? any tips chick?
Lots of love to all mummys, babies and beanies xxxx

Purple - glad to hear that you are getting on well with Brayden XX Would be lovely to see a piccie - think there is a post at the top of each board to tell you how to do it.

Chick/Rae - well done on BF for so long - don't think I will be as successful!

My scan on Weds was fine - everything where it should be - no we did not find out the sex - want the surprise. All the pains have gone now - just steadily growing and feeling heavier by the day. So pleased that we have all got there in the end.

LOL

Hey ladies, sorry i haven't been around for a while.. only can pop on very quickly as my tea is nearly ready. So pleased you are all well, will do a detailed message soon.

As for the picture, I went on to the ticker website and there is an option to add a photo on that (see link below)

http://lilypie.com/Baby_and_Kids_Birthday.php

when you have done it all and uploaded your photo it will give you a code (infact 2 codes, one for the ticker and one for the picture) just copy and paste them both in the Signature section of your profile, and it should have a pic and a ticker which will display what you want it too.

Look forward to seeing your little gems and will be in touch soon, I'm starving!!

Love Chick x

Hi ladies - if anyone still checks on this thread, just to let you know that Emilia Rose arrived by C section 3 weeks early on 14 June weighing 7lb 15.5 ozs.

I ended up with a section at 37+2. I went into hospital with really bad back ache and sickness at 36+4 and I had an infection probably my kidneys so put on saline drip and pain relief. Was also scanned and discovered baby was breech. Wanted to try for baby to be turned but after a few more days in hospital and the pain not easing my uterus was too tender anyway so section the only option. All the docs had been saying 39 weeks but I knew I could not carry on for another 2 weeks. Anyway the consultant came to see me on the Monday and I think she could tell I could not carry on with the pain much longer so when asked when I wanted the section I said asap - and 6 hours later was in theatre!

Emilia is fab during the day and was good at night too to start with but the last few nights have not been v good - all part of the territory though I guess!

I hope you are all doing ok with your respective bundles.
LOL
