hiya stella, we cycled back in july aug, and i am also back on the roller coaster, was so sorry to see your bfp turned out horrible, I also have just started our 3rd and last cycle, had all the tests done and found mulitple imune problems so although on a short protocol again, i am also on load more drugs anf like you am trying to be really hopeful this new yr will bring some long awaitd good news, there is another thread jan. feb on the cycle bussies, would be great to see you there,
I am on day 5 of the hrt and today is the first day I have not felt ill, i dont think the hrt and metformin go well togther lol, but hey anything for some baby luck

Hi Stella and Clare, I'm starting the short protocol on thur, haven't done short protocol before so not sure what to expect but have to take a drug called norethes something, can't remember what is called, have to take these for about ten days, haven't got a clue what the side effects will be but I guess it's better than injecting .

Stella and Clare, all the best with your cycles, keep us up to date with progress, will have everything crossed for you that this is the year.

Looks like my fresh cycle will be mar/apr time, just had results in the post of my level one tests and from what I can see they all appear in normal ranges. Still waiting for the karyotype results though. Can't decide if I'm happy about the normal results or not! Part of me was hoping they would find something to fix!

Clare, did you have level two tests? Can you tell me what they are, looks like we'll have to go ahead with them and see if anything shows up providing the karyotype test is normal.

I am on day 4 of downreg - feel lets just say queezy. Don't remember feeling this way last time. Sad

Managed to go for long walks every day since I started, but last night just couldn't sleep! Not moaning, just saying ... Anything for that little bundle... Smile

Clare - I am sorry about your imune problems - but as Lauraine says - at least there is something to fix. As you say - anything for baby luck. xxx Last go was a bit of a nightmare for me and I am trying to stay positive. Have CD that is helping me. Fingers crossed.xxx I will look the other thread up and join you there.xxx

Nicster - Hope you are ready. I am not familiar with short protocol - hope you find it easy. Welll - we are here if you wanna scream or cry - Sending you loads of love. xxx

Lauraine - After my last go I was desperate to find a reason why things ended up the way they did, and I suppose you are the same. Just knowing and understanding WHY makes it bit achievable. Sometimes we just have to come to terms with the way the things are as the answers are not there. Hope you prepare yourself best as you can for your spring go. xxx Sending you love. xxx

Just a quick post to catch up.

Stella, how are you doing? not sure what stage your at now but thinking of you and hope its all going well.

All my level one results are through and all normal except for a mild clotting problem! means aspirin, steroids and heparin for next cycle Sad

.

They have suggested level two test though so am guessing the clotting problem is unlikely to be the issue.

Anyway, hope you are all well and hope for updates soon.

Hi Lauraine,

I am 6 days into stimulation. On long protocol, so it all shoul be happening next week. Going for scan on thursday - hoping for more eggies. I feel twinges and pains in my ovaries and had to buy size bigger trousers yesterday, as my tummy felt very uncomfortable. So hoping that it is a good sign. I also have few hot flushes in a day - don't remember them from last time... In general, time goes that fast, that I have no time to think abut things. Which is a good thing I suppose. x I am so praying forhappy healthy BFP!!! Not sure where I'd go from here in case of BFN. But we cross that bridge if we have to. Smile

I have joined thread January/Fabruary FET ( I know I am not FET, but there are few of us there like me). That's why i haven't been posting here.

I am thinking about you and Nicster too. How do you feel about level 2 tests? Think if I were you, I'd have them done. Do you know when you are likely to start? How are things in general! x

Hi Stella,

Glad things are going ok for you. I have been on my stimmulating drugs for 5 days, Ive got a scan at Nottingham on friday so Im really hoping theres a fair few follicles, I feel really nervous, think its because its the short protocol and i havent done that before so Im just hoping I respond aswell as I did to the long protocol. Im like you this time, very very bloated and lots of hot flushes but only in the morning which is a bit bizare ! I havent posted on the FET thread for a while because I just couldnt seem to get to grips with it, there were so many people on there and all at different stages ! Im on another thread, its called newbie,(cycle buddies) theres only three of us on there and ironically we are all on the short protocol, all started the drugs on the same day and have all got a scan on friday ! Fingers crossed its a lucky thread. How are you doing with the healthy eating ? Must admit ive been really good this time, lots of chicken, pineapple juice, water, brazil nuts, cottage cheese and no alcohol or caffiene ! its hell but hopefully it will be worth it.

Hi Nicster,

Looks like we are on similar date scale - I am going for scan tomorrow - it's day 9 for me. Hoping to get good news. I had some not that great ones - about my previous recipient. I can't say too much, but you can imagine. Feel very very upset. I even had a cry.
To be honest, I just can't wait to go through it all very quickly, whatever result. Think I am feeling bit down today. I keep saying to myself, that the one above us is doing things for a reason, so just want to know what he planned for us this time. I know it sounds bit crazy, but can't help it.
I think I am being good with my diet, but finding it very hard to eat. And I CAN eat. Not sure why, but I haven't got big appetite. Finding it hard to fit everything in. Nuts, Fruit, Pineapple, Cottage cheese, milk..... I have no problem with coffee or alcohol, have a weak tee every day though.
I was going to ask - would you mind if I joined you on your thread? If you feel like you wish to keep it the way it is, I won't be offended. xxx

Stella, of course you can join us Hun, that would be great x funnily enough I've felt a bit down today aswell, you go through so many emotions don't you, let's just hope it our turn, I couldn't go through all this again. I'm also struggling to eat everything I'm meant to aswell, it's so hard, especially with all the water you've got to drink aswell. I'm sorry to hear about your donor Hun .
