good morning ladies
first of all I want to wish all the luck in the world to KP and fingers crossed that all is alright. You can check what to aspect here, nice movies and pictures:

I'm with Care Leicester which is connected for the EC and ET with Nottingham but all the rest ist done in Leicester and I have a scan on Wed so far only one, what are the other Care's doing different?
Regarding twins we have still 8 ladies to go for scans so we might have some
I still feel very nausea and tired so no good - I feel like I had 10 pints and 10 packages of fags ......pffff
Is it for you the same? I'm like a sniff dog at the airport, drive my hubby mad that he stinks of beer and fags etc ha ha ha

Good luck to all of you having scans this week. Can't wait to hear your news.
I just had the one scan at Nott. I'm an immune pt but didn't get an extra scan. Seems different at different centres. I think if they are happy at first scan they will discharge you.to GP/midwife.
Ive got my first midwife appointment tomorrow so hopefully will get my green notes which I'm very excited about and a date for our 12 week scan too.

| Scan went well. They saw the baby an the heart beat flickering away! So relieved. They couldn't see anything responsible for the spotting so its just one of those things, everything looks great an they have discharged me to midwife, no more scans with care. Had my follow up bloods taken so will have to see if i need further intralipid boosts. I stop drugs feb 17th an start weaning off steroids at that point also. Just been to my gp's an filled out the form for midwife so now just have to wait for her to contact me. Couldn't stop crying and other half just looked amazed by it all!! Fingers crossed now for the rest of our journey. Good luck for everyone having scans this week. Kp x x x |

Hi all,
Great news on the scan KP! So pleased for you. I cry at every scan - the relief and happiness is just overwhelming! DP always looks really excited and amazed then laughs at me afterwards for being so soft and blubbing every time.
I'm still having hardly any morning sickness, just various pains and cramps but have develped a really horrible metallic taste in the back of my mouth/throat the last few days. Has anyone else had that? I've heard it's a symptom and have had it briefly on the odd occasion before now but has literally been constant the last 3 days. Doesn't matter how many times I brush my teeth or gargle with mouthwash it never goes. Am not complaining - will happily take a funny taste over throwing up and feeling sick all the time! - it's just a bit odd!
Hope everyone's well. Good luck for the scans tomorrow Kurly and Pupsi and Katherine and EBS not long for you guys to wait now! Now it's less than a week to my next scan the time is definitely going quicker! Hang on in there those of you who have to wait a bit longer!

I've been for my scan today as CARE called me in due to the pains I've been having. Saw a HB-cried as I thought it was all over... Its a long story which I'll post properly on our other thread but have another the other scan on 24th Jan, thinkmy EDD is 5th Sept,11.

Hi All
Just had first midwife appointment but they didn't do anything except refer to hospital we want to deliver at for scan and 12 week check. I'm 10 weeks now so she said we should have appt within 2 weeks.
THey gave me some diet info and do's and don'ts list that I haven't read yet!!
Hows everyone doing? Have we got any more scan news yet?
Apart from nausea feel fine but struggling to brush teeth because feel so sick!!

hi all hope everyone is well,
i had a blood test at my doctors to confirm my pregnancy (as if 9 home tests were not enough haha)
and t came back positive but they gave me the hormone level to give to care which was 3723, i was just wondering if anyone new what this ment.
