Hello Everybody
I wish you a nice sunday!
Sorry to be late with the news but my parenst wer evisiting this week and as the weather was so nice we spend all time in the garden and not on the PC
The scan was good, baby all ok but I have placenta praevia which means the placenta is to close to the cervix or over so a normal birth will be not possible as it is fine for me as I want a caeserian anyway as I', so scared and draumatised from my 1st birth expierence.
I hope you all are well and the time will fly by till you have your bundle of joy!
xoxo |

Hi Pupsi,
Great news about the scan. I have to go back for another scan at 34 weeks as my placenta was fairly low but may move out of the way by then.
Another boy! We only have one name so obviously can't share that but found it a lot more difficult to think of boys names than girls names. Still at least you still have plenty of time to think about it.
DP's sister in law gave birth to twin IVF boys yesterday.... more boys!!! So, his mum won't get her wish for a granddaughter but is very happy to have two grandsons and another one on the way.
Hope everyone else is well. Good luck for the scan next Tuesday Irish. DP is away in Morocco now for 3 weeks so I am away for a short break in Southampton with my dad next week. Can't believe I am 26 weeks today... third trimestre here I come! Does the time seem to be flying for everyone now?

Hey everyone!
Just a quick one...
I had my scan on Thursday! we're also having a little boy!
I have to go back and be rescanned in a few weeks, as baby was lying on his back and wouldn't budge -so they couldn't check the spine & kidneys! everything else that was checked was fine though and at least we get to see the little fella again!
Hope you are all well xxx |

Hi all,
Wow great news on the boys Irish and Mystique. Irish, I keep saying I must have a footballer too based on the volume and strength of his kicks. I can see my belly twitching and moving all through the day now. I find it fascinating. The last few days I have actually been woken up by him kicking me really hard. I guess it will just prepare me for when he wakes me up after he arrives.
Pupsi, the private scan sounds great and how cool.. a teddy with the baby's heartbeat. I didn't know you could get them. We are considering having a 3D/4D scan when DP gets back from Morocco.
I had a lovely time away with my dad in Southampton. We had such fab weather. Got back today and straight into arranging things for the house move. The good news (for me) is that DP and his friend have decided to come home early from Morocco.... this Sunday rather than next Sunday. I feel a bit sorry for him that the trip has been cut short but will be great to have him home. They are currently riding up through Portugal but the weather is shocking and really wet and cold. |

Hi Everyone
Sorry its been so long since I have come on here!! I am rubbish and been so busy!!! Decorating, DIY and easter hols!!!
i cant believe how much I have missed. Glad everyone is still going strong and the different test results and scans are all coming back clear!!
Well I am officially 26 weeks today!! been a busy few weeks since I last updated!! As I have twins I am being scanned every 4 weeks now to measure growth!!
My 20 week scan showed I am carrying a boy and a girl !! Perfect!! We have a girls name but cannot choose / find a boys name we both like!!
I had a 3d/4d scan at 24 weeks as my mum paid for it. It was amazing !! although the boy was pushing a shoving the girl about constantly! no wonder I am so uncomfortable!! I feel like they are constantly fighting in my tummy.
I had a growth scan last week which showed that both babies are growing well and so far estimated weight is 2lb for the boy and 1lb9 for the girl!!
Next scan is 17th May when I am nearly 29 weeks and I then have bloods done. |

Hi all,
Irish, I know what you mean about the hormones and arguing with your other half. It's great having DP back but there have been a couple of moments where I have been ready to send him back on a ferry! Was scarey to see that bomb had gone off in Marrakesh last night.... DP was in that square about 10 days ago. The whole moving process doesn't help with the arguing. There's so much to sort out and so many decisions to be made that it's difficult to get through without any heated discussions! We finally exchanged contracts yesterday though, will get keys on Wed and move in over following weekend..... yipee!!
Pupsi, I took your advice and have been eating lots of Easter chocolate!!! Hope you are well.
Carla, great news on the scan and congratulations on a boy and a girl.... finally we have a girl on here!! I agree that girl's names seem easier to pick. Luckily we did pick one boy's name that we both like so fingers crossed that our bubba looks like he matches the name when he arrives. I saw the midwife yesterday and everything was looking good. Little bubba gave her a kick when she was measuring my bump which was quite amusing and he was moving too much for her to listen to the heartbeat. According to the measurements he is weighing about 2lbs 8 or 9 at just over 28 weeks.
I have a scan in about 4 weeks time when I am due to see the consultant. We were going to have a 3D/4D scan but with the house move I'm not sure if we will get round to it now.
Mystique how are you doing? Hope all is well.

PS is anyone else having real trouble sleeping. I'm posting at this ungodly hour as had been awake for about an hour and a half and was disturbing DP. Seem to keep waking up and not able to get back to sleep. Sometimes I have indigestion or bubba is kicking away really hard so makes it hard to sleep but sometimes it seems to be for no reason... maybe just mother nature preparing us for sleepless nights after the bubbas arrive.

Hello All
Nice to see you all doing well. I hope you had a good Easter and Wedding/Bank Holliday Weekend.
I did some nice trips with hubby and DD. We went for a family gathering to Germany by car and ferry which was great and we went for a nice long weekend to Norfolk and just came bag yesterday.
I had that with DD as well while I was pregnant Travel Fever as I thing I will be housebound for ever after birth lol
@Jules - Yes I have sleeping difficulties as well, is normal I thing. O go to the other bedroom or in the living room so hubby can sleep poor him as I was quite bad with a cold I snored loads and he walked out on me lol
My next midwife app is on 18/05 and next scan 02/06 and the 3D/4D is 28/05 so I hope the placenta will/has went up the womb by then as I'm scared that it will occure problems.
Aaaaand of to Mallorca on Sat for a week with my mum )))))) Beach, Sun and pool yeah yeah yeah
Love to you all! |

hi everyone!
hi caj-so pleased for you-1 of each-how lovely! and a wee girl on the board!!! she'll have plenty of cyber boyfriends on here until she pops out!!
glad i'm not the only one who is arguing a bit-we seem to have passed that and i'm back to normal now! a weekend away seemed to cure all that!!
you defianetly have a travel bug pupsi-i certainly have more energy for doing things now-we're off to norfolk for a wedding thsi weekend and have been away to market bosworth last weekend. it makes the weekends go too quick and before you know it another week has passed!!
mr man will soon be here!!
i wondered how other peoples sex lives have faired in pregnancy? if it's not too nosey a question! i thought we were supposed to get a spell where we would be gagging for it-it hasn't come to my house yet!! i just can't be bothered!!
i also have the heart burn now (caused by chocolate) and my feet are swelling up at night. otherewise all is good-baby very active!
have a wonderful holiday pupsi- and happy house moving jules!! soon you'll be settling in to your new family home-just remember to take it easy while you're moving!
hugs

Hi all,
Phew... have moved in and now recovering! Tried not to do too much but the physical strain of it all has still taken it's toll. I have really bad sciatica in my hip and really swollen leg/feet with pins and needles so struggling to walk. Saw the midwife today and all is ok and bubba is fine so just been told to take it easy for the next few days.
Irish the pattern of what you are experiencing is very similar to me. Bubba is doing gymnastics in my belly and feet swelling and heatburn have definitely increased the last few weeks. I found that as soon as I hit about 28 weeks I suddenly slowed down and everything started to get a bit more difficult too. It was strange how sudden it was. I now have to haul myself out of chairs.... quite amusing really.
Hope you have had a fabulous time in Mallorca Pupsi.. very jealous... much more fun than moving house! Fingers crossed for your placenta moving up. I also have a scan in a few weeks time to check mine. I am praying it moves as saw a consultant anaethesist yesterday and she advised against an epidural or spinal injection due to the spinal surgery I have had in the past. That means that if I need a caesarian I will have to be put to sleep which I don't fancy at all.
Carla and Mystique, hope you are both doing well.

Hey guys!
It's been a while!!!
How is everyone doing?
CAJ - Do you still do that weird one off hiccup like noise that we talked about sometime ago?
I now refer to it as my "MJS" Mini Jenks Syndrome, sometimes the outburst can sound like a high pitched squeal - it's very odd! and I often get some strange looks lol! keeps my hubby, family & friends amuseD!
Hope everyone is well, would be nice to have updates from everybody!

How weird, I just thought today I have to see what they all doing at the care board.
Live is so busy, is everybody well? How do you get on with your birth preperations?
I will have an c-section on 22 or 23 of August as the placenta is low and I want one anyway after the last desaster
Love and hugs |
