Hi Amber lovely to hear from you. Glad you and the boys are ok i cant imagine how much hard work they must be!

Hope everything goes ok in Dublin. It will understandably be a difficult time but also very exciting to show your boys off, you must be very proud of them.

Take care

Hi all

Amy, lovely to hear from you, hope things are going ok for you. Are you planning on any more cycles?

Lauriecharlie, Congratulations on your BFP you must be over the moon. Try not to worry about the Intralipid. They usually say to have one within about a week of getting your BFP so if today is your OTD you wont be far off. Have you rang CARE as i know there are usually some people there on Bank holls so you might just be able to let them know and see if there is anyway they can get the paperwork ready. But if not dont worry i was told by CARE that they last up to 6 weeks so your other one will still be effective and even if you ring on Wednesday they should get you booked in by Monday.

Hello to everyone else, hope your enjoying your long Bank Holiday weekend.

Seabreeze xx

Hi Seabreeze your little girl is beautiful. No don't think we'll be doing another cycle as when we went for our review Dr P said along with my immune problems the main problem is my eggs so if we do another cycle would have to use donor eggs which we are not against but no gaurantee it would work & just not sure we can put ourselves through it again! So we might look into adoption but all seems very complicated & don't know much about it so need to do some research. Glad your ok & enjoying being a mummy. Take care, lots of love Amy x

Congrats Laurie!!! Hope you got your intralipid sorted. I'm having one on friday.

Amy - I'm sorry that you have further obstacles in your way. I'm not sure if you know but there is a good clinic called serum in Athens who do lots of donor eggs if you ever decided to go down that route. It is also reasonably priced and there is now waiting list like here.

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. So sick of this weather though xx

Peachy, when I was pregnant this time last year, felt sick most mornings but was only sick once. The only way I found to get rid of feeling sick was to eat!! Although not sure if that was just my excuse.... x

Laurie - congrats, wow so exciting! x

Seabreeze, I am sure we spoke last year, are you in leicestershire? xx

Hope everyone ok xx

Yes been thinking of Anna too - hope she is ok.

No not seeing Dr Gorgy this time. I feel a bit more relaxed about things. I persuaded CARE to continue intralipids to 20 weeks so feel happy with that.

Hope you and babies are all doing well.

I have another scan on weds. Looking forward to it. xx

Hi all, hope your all ok

Peachy, have a lovely time at your scan tomorrow. Im so glad your feeling more relaxed, good on you for continuing your intralipis until 20 weeks, that will put your mind at rest.

Somedaysoon, hows things with you hope your doing ok and enjoying motherhood Smile

Claire2010, im sure we have spoke before but im not in Leicestershire im in Chester. Hows things with you?

Hope everyone else is ok. Im off to Cornwall for 2 weeks on Friday so not sure if i will be on line much. I cant believe we go in 3 days and i havent packed a thing yet! Im normally so organized but the thought of packing for 2 adults a baby and a huge labrador is over facing me and i cant bring myself to start! I have no idea how we will fit everything in the car.

Will speak to you all soon. Look after yourselves, your babies and your bumps while im gone Smile

Seabreeze xx

How are we all ladies?

Sorry I haven't been on for a while.

Peachy - how many weeks are you now? Hope you're feeling ok and that the morning sickness isn't too bad. Although it can be reassuring can't it. I had a love/hate relationship with it. Loved that it was a sign that baby was still in there and I wasn't imagining it, but hated that it made every afternoon & evening so unpleasant. Mine went at about 19 weeks. Are you just on the intralipids or the full monty?

Someday - how's it going? How is little Maggie? A cutie I bet!

Seabreeze - hope you're enjoying Cornwall and that you managed to pack it all into the car!! Hope the weather has been kind.
Did you have your little girl at COCH? That's where I'm due to have mine. I've read on anothr forum some positive stories about the midwives being lovely.

Laurie - Wonderful news about your BFP!! I love seeing stories like this - it confirms the fact that immune drugs really do work. Well done!!!

Amy - sorry to hear about your difficult time. My friend has recently adopted two little ones and is the happiest I have ever seen her. Yes, it was a difficult road to take and can take a lot of determination and patience but at the end of the journey when you are approved you will have your family unlike IVF which offers no such certainties. Good luck with your next chapter.

afm - I'm now 22 weeks and finally starting to relax a little bit. Starting to think of names, etc which is exciting. We had our 20 weeks scan and all looked well so that was a relief. I was worried about my diabetes and the additional drugs having an impact on the baby and was scared that there would be defects. Thankfully it all looked as it should.
Also, I'll be adding to the girl gang!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

To everyone else I've missed - hello and I hope you're well.

Hi Anna

Ahhh a little girl how lovely bet you cant wait now, have you started buying anything yet? Yes i had Emily at COCH i didnt realise you were in Chester too what a small world. The midwives were really lovely and i cant fault them they really were brilliant. Glad everything is going ok and you are both healthy it is such a worry i wish i had been able to enjoy it more but i worried so much all the way through.

Cornwall is great thanks, we just about manged to get the car packed. Emily had her first trip to the beach today and she loved the sand! Cant believe when we were here last year i was 9 weeks pregnant!

Hope everyone else is doing ok, take care

Ooo - good to hear another positive story about COCH. The staff do seem really friendly and they are really good on the diabetes front as well. I feel like I'm there every 5 minutes and lots of extra scans which is good.
I bet it was lovely to see Emily at the beach for the first time. What did she make of the sand/waves?

That's great that they are being so good with you and you are having the extra scans. Emily loved the sand, we keep trying to take photos of her but they are all rubbish because she won't look up because she just wants to look down at the sand! We dipped her feet in the sea too which she seemed to like Smile

Lovely to hear from you Anna and congratulations on your little girl! Glad all is well. Time is flying for you. I am only 10 1/2 weeks feel like I have been pregnant for ages. I am on thyroxine, metformin, prednisolone, clexane and the intralipids.xx

Glad you have had a lovley holiday Seabreeze. Sounds lovely with Emily there.xx

Someday - Maggie sounds like she is keeping you busy but in a nice way shame about the sleep though. xx

I'm doing ok. Nausea seems to be getting a little better. 12 week scan on 4th July. Got a doppler as well to stop me worrying. But I think I am slightly less anxious this time.

Love to all xx

Someday, Maggie sounds gorgeous! Hope she starts sleeping better at night soon and your managing to get some sleep in the day when she does.

Peachy, Glad the nausea is a bit better. I dont think i could have coped without my doppler. It gave me a couple of scares when i got it wrong but most of the time it just put my mind at rest. Not too long until your scan now x

Hi to everyone else hope your all ok. We are still in Cornwall having a lovely time. Had a few sleepless mights with Emily as her 1st tooth has come through but it has been great.

Howdy everyone,

So so sorry I havent posted for ages, I forgot my username and couldnt log on :0( but i just remembered it so I am back!!

Everything is great here, my boys are fab and changing and developing so fast. in the last week alone they have learned to reach out to be picked up, how to role og and they both have two little toothy pegs!!! They are sleeping 7pm till 7am most nights although James does like to wake earlier sometimes (about 6) but he usually just chats away to himself till I go and get him. I told my hubby yesterday I want another one and no i am not joking although I dont think I would do ivf again but then never say never eh!!!
I just love being a Mum more then I could ever have imagined and its lived up to every expectation I had and of course much much more. I am not back to work till January so still a while to enjoy before I need to worry about it.

How is everyone? I hope you are all keeping well and look forward to hearing updates from you all xxx

Hi all

Amber, lovely to hear from you. Your boys sound amazing and you sound so happy its lovely. Being a mum is just great isnt it. Me and my hubby often well up just looking at Emily and still cant believe she is here. It must be so lovely not going back to work until January, i think i will probably be going back in September Sad I do only work 5.15pm-10.45pm though so its not too bad as i will still be home all day with her.

Emily has one tooth now and rolls from one side of the room to the other! We started weaning last week and she is loving it. We are also taking her swimming regularly which is good fun although feels like a lot of effort for half an hour in the pool! By the time we get home im exhausted! She is also a good sleeper goes down about 7 and sleeps till 6-7ish, she is like James though and just chats away to herself until we go in to her.

Someday, sounds like Maggie is keeping you busy too Smile well done on the breastfeeding your doing great, bet you are glad there are no toothy pegs yet! Are you going back to work any time soon?

I too cant wait to have more Amber. I would get pregnant tomorrow if i could! We have one little frostie so will try that at some point maybe in the new year but until then we are just hoping for a miracle Smile

Hope everyone else is doing ok, its understandable that everyone is busy but it is lovely to hear how everyone is getting on.

Seabreeze xx

Hi ladies, so nice to hear how everyone is getting on, isn't time flying by!!

Elvie is 15 weeks now and I treasure every moment, she is a lovely happy soul and good at night too. I am dreading going back to work in October, neither Jim or I want her to be looked after by anyone else but needs must and the mortgage needs to be paid.

We have 3 frosties and have contacted CARE re having them put back before the end of the year, sometimes I think I just want to enjoy every moment with Elvie and that maybe we should wait until she's older but the other part of me thinks I'm not getting any younger and if the FET doesn't work we'd need to crack on with a fresh cycle sooner rather than later.....decisions decisions.

love to all xx
