Hi Nicster,

Sorry you feel bit down. one of my friends once told me (she got bfp on 3rd attempt) that if stress caused bfns noone would get bfps as whole treatment is soooo stressfull. So don't let it get you down. Whatever will be will be. You can only do so much.
At work, at home... I had to learn hard lesson - it is not what you go through, but how you approach it and deal with it. I don't let things upset me. I try to see something positive in everything. Being stuck in unusual traffic this morning, I tydied my car and listened to the cd that i love but had no time for. was dancing in my car amongst sour faces.... had to laugh. How beautifull - 3rd bday party? What are you planning?

Stay positive my love. Ask angels for help and you will get it.

Helen, how are you doing? Great news about your 20 week scan, it is such a relief when that goes well. Keep us updates on your progress.

Nicster, Wishing you the best of luck with your scan, really hope it works this time for you.

Stella, lovely to hear from you and so pleased you have found happiness. Hope all goes really well for you this time and look forward to reading your progress.

Well James & Luke are 5 and a half months now.....time flies! They are doing really well and weigh 17.2 & 18.2 now so piling the weight on. Still can't believe they are here as they really are our little miracles.

Afm. Good news been to the clinic today and had a scan, everything is as it should be, ovaries are empty and my lining is 10, so et is going to be next Tuesday x

You probably don't remember me but I cycled with you in APril/may last year. I wanted to wish you a massive amount of luck for your FET. I've just done a fet myself and got a BFP although my otd isn't until the 24th - oops lol

Hi Lou, yes I do remember you Hun, congratulations on your bfp, that's just fantastic news, bet you can't believe it.

It's so strange doing a fet isn't it, you don't feel like your doing anything compared to a fresh cycle. Did you have to down reg or did you just take hrt ?

Yes a fet feels weird, I am just on hrt and the dreaded pessaries but my body ignored the hrt an I ovulated naturally so in effect I was changed to a natural cycle (but on hrt lol) . My lining was around 8.5 mm so not as strong as yours !
I was a bit of a mad woman on the hrt. Lol

Thanks for that, wow must of been stressful finding out you were ovulating. Must admit that was one of my worries. Had to change my et day to Friday because my last bloods showed my thyroid levels had gone back up so they've increased my dose and I've got to go back Monday for another test then results on tuesday and hopefully it will of started to come down and I can have transfer on Friday. It's all such a worry isn't it x

OH my word woman, nothing is ever simple is it? sorry you are having to wait even longer now, but at least you know you are in good hands. I was so worried my snow babies wouldn't defrost, but they came out as good as they went in. whoop. That was the most nerve racking part for me- taking that call. I phoned care and told them i got a BFP but they wouldn't let me book my scan until my OTD, which is tomorrow. hoooray ! that's not very nice of them is it ? I've been a bit of a mad woman, I constantly POAS, infact I ran out of my own and had to use the one that care supplied . I went out and bought more tho. I did 3 digi's in one day yesterday because it started flashing 3+ before it settled on 2-3 but every test i did after that one came up as 2-3 including this morning. I hate you clearblue! I've convinced myself it's twins now...... I need a hobby! lol So anyway 22 hours from now i will have my scan date hooooray, and i'm going to book a holiday for the easter holidays to take my mind off the wait. i fancy somewhere hot, my cousin and her family will join us if we do book so really looking forward to it.
I'm rambling now aren't i lol

You may laugh but this'll be you in a few weeks time, being driven to the edge of insanity by the 2WW.......

What are you like ! Last time I didn't test early and got af on day 11, in fact I've got af on day 11 every time, and those days leading up to it have been a nightmare so I think this time I'm going to start testing really early like you did and if it's good news then happy days if it's not then at least I'll gradually prepare myself. Fingers crossed my frosties defrost ok, just think this time next week I'll be pupo x

It will feel so amazIng for you when you get your scan date. Wow so much to look forward to, a holiday sounds fab, must admit I would love some sun and sand x

Hi ladies just a quick update. Good and bad news today, the bad news was that two out of the three frosties didn't survive the thaw ðŸ˜ž the good news is that I'm pupo, one 5 cell grade 1/2 embie on board x fingers crossed its a little fighter x

Congratulations on being PUPO whooooop whioooop !
How exciting:D now the dreaded 2ww wahhhh. Have you got time off to relax? Enjoy this beautiful weather we're having and I've got everything crossed for a BFP !
I've got my scan on Thursday, (6w - due to tubal issues) had a bit of spotting Thursday night but since then no more and the morning sickness (well more like all day sickness) has just started. I think I'm 5w 3d now.

Purdseypal, I'm only in work Tuesday and Wednesday next week so that's not too bad, then I'm in london on Thursday, so that's not exactly idea timing but still. Bet you can't wait for your scan, wow morning sickness already, those hcg levels must be high, did you have 1 put back or two ? X

Oh well you've got a couple of days rest. I had a busy first week as started a new job, it's actually good to have something to take your mind off things.
I had 2 put back but have started spotting again so who knows. Thursday can't come soon enough. When's your test date?

My test date is the 14th but I'm definately going to test before that. Don't worry too much about the spotting, with my first cycle (only successful one ) I spotted and even had full red blood on and off from before my otd till probably a week or so after, I think it's really common with ivf pregnancies. I know me saying don't worry is easier said than done, just think only a few more days and you'll see the little heartbeat / s. did you have any symptoms before you got your bfp ? Did it feel different to the last time ? X

Sorry about your BFN today but surely you're jumping the gun? You aren't due to test until another 5 days. You're only 11dpo, I didn't get my BFP until 10dpo and I'm expecting twins! Don't give up Hunni, you've still got time. X x

Afm as I said above I'm expecting twins, found out at epau yesterday, after suspected miscarriage.. Had quite a bit of bleeding, cramping and dizziness and honestly thought it was all over. Had a scan at care on Thursday and they said I was only expecting 1 with another empty sac. But got 2 lovely heartbeats on an abdominal scan. I'm still in shock!

Right missie, positive mental attitude required from you otherwise I'll have to come over and slap your legs! X x x

Omg purdsy, congratulation, that is absolutely amazing news you must be extatic, what a worrying time you've had though. Fingers crossed for a less eventful rest of the pregnancy. I tested today which is 10dpt, so think that works out at 13dpo, think it should show up by now so really not holding out much hope. Gutted x

Hi hel, thanks for the post Hun, I was gutted, really thought it would work this time, guess it just wasnt meant to be. Just wish I knew why, it's really hard isnt it when you havent got the answers, but I suppose so much of this ivf journey is the unknown, even to the experts !
