Hi ladies,
I'm looking for a bit of advice please... Is it possible to have a FET before AF has returned?? I'm still kinda breastfeeding my 14 month daughters and my cycle hasn't returned yet and when I stopped BFing my son it took my cycle quite some time to return. So I'm just wondering if I need to wait for my cycle to return before a FET or if i could do a mediccated FET and if the fact that I am still BFing would have a negative effect?
Thanks in advance

Hi justme
I believe that you would need to definately have stopped breastfeeding before you have any form of treatment again
I also think that you would need to have had at least one AF too
It may well be worth calling care and seeing what they say

Hi - I asked about BF and cycling when my daughter was 2 weeks old and we went into visit Care and was told that you had to wait at least 3 months after finishing BF. I stopped on my daughters 6 month birthday (I had one AF whilst BF and 1 just before I stopped) and then started on day 21 of my 3rd AF after that. I stopped BF mid December and started DR a few days ago so nearly 4 months after. I don't think they would let you cycle whilst BF because of the drugs you take getting into your BM and the potential impact of reduced success due to still BF. If I could have cycled whilst BF I would have and I would have BF DD for longer.
I'm not sure if you can cycle without AF having returned whether the drugs take over so it doesn't matter.
Well done on BF twins by the way!
LOL
