| Just popped onto say I hope everyone is doing ok. It would have been our scan yesterday, but instead we were at our local hospital getting some of our Level 1 tests done before we cycle again in the New Year. Hope everyone has healthy pregnancies and your first scans confirm this, so that you can relax a little and start to enjoy your pregnancies. Still thinking of you xxx |

| 3w - they've booked me another scan in 2 weeks when I'll be 9w+ then I'll be discharged. I'm a bit behind given the extra week with DH being away, but they still wanted to do 2 scans. You're having 2 aswell aren't you? X |

hi all,
congratulations Phoenix, so pleased for you both.
I have got my 12 week dating scan at local hospital on Wed. Have been offered NT scan to determine risk of downs syndrome but we have decided against it.
Am very excited at the thought of seeing baby again and hearing heartbeat. also will look more like a baby and less like a kidney bean. Hoping it will make it all feel more real.

Phoenix - yes I've got another scan this week and then I'll be discharged. I'll be nearly 9 weeks by the time I have my next scan. Wasn't feeling well last week so had a scan at work at the EPU. Its amazing how much our little bean had grown in a week. Really excited about this weeks scan to see how much they have grown again and its when you see the heartbeat that makes it all real.
Do you think we should start another thread, say Summer 2012 babies or June 2012 babies?
Hope everyone else is doing ok

Hi Ladies,
LTJ - hope everything goes well today will be lovely to see your little bean again looking more like a baby!
3w - hope you are feeling better, I know you were suffering with sickness? Glad everything was ok last week at the EPU, bet you can't wait for this week's scan! It definitely does make things seem so much more real. I'm in again next Tuesday when I'll be over 9 weeks, and now have my NHS scan booked for 22nd November when I'll be over 11 weeks!
A new thread sounds a great idea too!
Hope everyone else is getting on ok.

hi all,
12 week scan went well everything looking good. Now measures 5cm.
a new thread sounds good. Summer sounds better than June as I'm due in May but may need to be induced early due to family medical history (will know for definate when see consultant Dec 29th). Will join you all whatever you call it. will it be on here or bumps, babies and beyond?
Its starting to feel a bit more real now and have even started to buy maternity clothes (have put on lots of weight). Finished pessaries last night....Yipee (hated those). 
Am off to see a work friend who has twins as a result of IVF this afternoon. ( am glad I just have 1) ha ha.
Good luck to all those with extra scans.
