| Hi Sally, I feel the same - had a scan at 6 wks because of pains and got my original scan for 8 wks on the 19th. Just hoping there's still something there! No symptoms just huge boobs! |

Hi there Missus Clarke I know what you mean about not feeling much. Huge slightly tender boobs but otherwise nothing so I caved in and did another CB HPT this morning and it still says Pregnant only thing is now which is good news it's 3+.
I feel neurotic and I keep trying to relax but failing miserably - anyone got any hints on staying calm?

Hi ladies,
Sorry to gatecrash I just wanted to come and give some reassurance as I remember these early days well and they're awful. It's such a roller coaster of emotions. The 2ww is so difficult analysing every little twinge and being on constant knicker watch hoping and praying for the BFP. I don't know about anyone else but the excitement of my BFP lasted about 2 days before the panick started to set in all over again, I went back to analysing and knicker watching thinking to myself this isn't possibly happening to me I'm not lucky enough to get a BFP so something is bound to go wrong. I was counting down the days until that first scan absolutely convinced that there would be nothing there.
Anyway ladies the point I'm trying to make is this. All them emotions you are feeling are perfectly normal for those if you that have had your scans and seen a hb means the chances of something going wrong are far more reduced. For those of you that haven't had your scan and are worried about lack of symptoms well I had absolutely none whatsoever not even sore boobs and I am now nearly 26 weeks pregnant. I know this part of the journey is so difficult but remember ladies you have come this far and I'm sure all will be fine. Yeah granted things don't always work out for everyone but I learnt a valuable lesson and that was no amount of worrying will change anything so as hard as it is keep the faith and enjoy the journey. I hope I haven't spoken out of turn but I just feel for you all at this anxious time and wanted to say congratulations and good luck to you all.

Ang30 - thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful message! It's always good to hear from people with success stories! I wish you all the best with the rest of your pregnancy let us know what you have! X
Littlemrsc - keep those legs up even in the car, if it's a longish journey you must stop every 1/2 an hour and have a walk around for a few minutes. There are lot and lots of women who bleed and everything works out so keep the faith! I'm thinking of you so please let me know how you are xx |

Sorry to hear you've had flu that's the trouble when your susceptible to everything and then it hits you hard! Least your over the worst bless ya! I cannot wait till Tuesday I'm going to go to bed really early tomorrow so it's Tuesday quicker lol!!! Just need it now! X had some doggy sharp pains on and off today just to freak me out! X |

| Spoke to the duty nurse - she said rest, feet up and try not to worry. I've got to call tomorrow after 9 and they should be able to move my scan date forwards.... X-Factor and lots of tea & sympathy from my OH tonight... |

| Scan booked for tomorrow morning. Bleeding has stopped today, and there were no clots in it, but it was quite red. Hoping and praying to see that little heart beating. I really don't know how I'll cope if it's not good news. |

| Bit behind but missed the last few messages about dating with ivf. I want one, my cycle was a frozen one, so my ec date was in May!! Care have deemed it to be 9th or 10th Nov I think. Depending on what date I use, or whether I put in my LMP date, my due date falls between 1st and 6th August. |

| The site has a 3 or 5 FET section x I so glad the bleeding has stopped! I'm sure the little heart will be pumping away they are tough little things! It could be just an irritated cervix. Dating wise mine was the 7th nov so I'm 7weeks exactly and due on 30th July I think will obviously know more tomorrow soooo nervous! X |

I have got my scan on 28th Dec, can't wait.
Nothing I can do now but rest and enjoy Christmas, I am certainly a lot more excited about Christmas since I got a BFP on Sunday.

| Well, we're back. Within seconds of starting my scan, a strong heartbeat was clear on the screen (it soon became harder to spot as I sobbed at the sight of it!!!) Baby is measuring 6+3, so I now have an EDD of 2nd August and have been discharged from CARE. Still on meds until 18th Jan, but all looks good! |
