Hi Charlie!
I went to boots and I did try but they wouldnt accept a prescription for 200mg either really odd I think! Luckily I'm all ok for now thanks to some wonderful people on here and hopefully the 200 mg will be back in stock b4 I am due to run out again!! Thank you so much for letting me know much appreciated! Xx |

| It varies depending on what you're getting and where from. I found central homecare was the cheapest - over £200 cheaper than Care - and they do free delivery. |

It all depends what drugs ya need I guess! I would ask care in advance! If you have a nice doctor they sometimes will put it on a nhs prescription.

My drugs were about £700 all together! Over £900 if I'd have got them from Care.
Han: If you're being funded you won't have to buy them. |

Counting dow the days here too. I think I'm now 6+2, and my scan is booked for 8+0, so it's definitely gettng closer! I've had my midwife's booking in appointment and my flu jab this week - it's all becoming so real now. A colleage gave me her much-loved and well-read Baby Bible, which I've been flicking through slowly. According to that, my uterus is now the siz of a grapefruit & I should be able to feel it through my lower abdomen. Had a good poke about in the bath earlier, and I think I can!!!! Also read online that baby's heart should have started beating about 4 days ago.
I've felt really rotten yesterday and today - temp was up slightly (not to fever levels though) and my throat was really dry and sore. Somewhat better today, though, after a long lie in!! |

If you type in IVF calculator in goggle it gives you a due date! You have to type in when you had egg collection! X it's not the real thing but gives you an idea! X

Hey there
Missus Clarke - for the whole protocol that's fine mine was a logt more then that though. It is is expensive and worth it in the end.
Littlemrsc - how come you've got a midwive appointment? I've not got one yet. Care told me to just wait until the scan.... Your book sounds great too. I used the IVF due calculator too and it was great plus it gives you other information too on what's happening to the baby etc.
I want one - are you nervous?
AFM - got the rest of my meds today to take me up to scan date. I thought you carried on with the drugs until 12 weeks is that not right?

Hi mummies!
I'm really really nervous!! This is the 5th time I've been pregnant and each loss/bad news gets harder to take I'm sure all will be fine but it's always in the back of my mind and I would find it extremely difficult to cope with in fact it scares me a lot! Cos I've had all this extra support. It will all be good though I have lots if med support to give me the best chance so hopefully this is it!! Time will tell!!
Most people are told to stop the drugs at 12 weeks I hear! But you can take them for longer if needed x

Hi can I join you lovely ladies please? I have posted on other boards but they have all gone a bit quiet. My name is Sally and I'm currently 8+1 and in the middle of no-mans land! My last scan was at exactly 6w and next isn't until Thursday ( 15th December) when I'll be 8+6 . Time is dragging so slowly!
We had one blob with heartbeat at 6w- getting nervous already about Thursday- I just hope it's still there! Feeling ok generally apart from the v occasional wave of nausea do have spent a lot of time worrying about lack of symptoms
I'm primarily having treatment via nhs at Calderdale in Halifax but they use care in Manchester for ec and et.
The days are going so slow! As long as everything is ok on Thursday then I get signed off from there and onto the 'normal' system whatever that may be. I've not had contact with GP or midwife yet- the hospital said to wait
