I'd definitely bypass the awaiting scans thread. I can't get over the sad news from so many girls recently...
I'm going to stick around here and keep jellyfish company but hopefully after our 8 week scan I'll be barging in!!

Got a scan booked mon 5th march that's ages away!
Melski I did email Stephen but more than happy for you to tell him again. His email replies are great usually no more than 4 words! You're still a part of our lucky thread but think you're now cycling with JEP? She definitely deserves a successful cycle as she's an amazing buddy for giving support and PMA.

Saw, so pleased that you saw a wonderful little heartbeat this morning, it must've been a really worrying time for you but hopefully you can relax a bit now!
Noggin, I think you're at Northampton too. They seem to do a scan 3 weeks after your BFP, it's just such a long time to wait! I'm 1 week into that wait, 2 more to go! I suppose it will be worth it though because as long as everything's ok, little bean will be that much further along. Take care of yourself pregnant lady!

I know what you mean about waiting for a scan - I rang today and mine is Wed 7th March. Any ideas on how we can not drive ourselves crackers in the meantime?

Work and joshua definitely helps keep me busy and going to get my eyebrows sorted (I've developed a monobrow nice!!)
Just don't keep testing!! Im going to do a CBD on sunday and hopefully it will have changed to 3+ weeks

Am I the only one cycling now I may have to move across to another cycle buddies thread.
Liz Congratulations on your BFP forgot to say last time I popped on. Its funny how you get all consummed with your own cycle and injections and symptoms etc.....
I'm stimming at the moment and I'm starting to worry that I won't get enough follicles.I don't know why I'm doing this as I've always had plenty both times I've cycled before.Its just the waiting game and imagining the end result!

Hi Girls,
I'm good, work is a welcome distraction and fortunately not at all strenuous and so far not at all stressful (mostly check ups as it's half term this week.
Unfortunately I was called into nursery as Joshua decided to run across the room, launch himself rugby style onto a a boy who was happily sitting doing nothing and bit him on the forehead  He's now being closely monitored to see what's triggering this behaviour (tiredness/ low sugar levels/ frustration) and what time of day it's happening. Today they kept him extra busy and entertained and he was model child...
Jellyfish it might be worth joining another thread? I know my previous lovely cycle buddy JEP has just reached the 2ww and Melski and Tigger have started their FET.
Melski how's the acupuncture going?
Care bear lovely to hear from you did you manage to book a review and hope you enjoyed your break away.
Mixed spice I can't get over the sad news from the January scans thread....

Noggin - yes the news knocked me for 6. I was really upset last week and my mum had to basically give me a boll***ing as she was concerned I would get stressed out and not do my own pregnancy any good. Sorry to hear that Joshua isn't having a good time at nursery but good that he's been better today!

Hi Noggin - William has been acting out a little at nursery too, I think it was down to his daddy being away, his explanation is that the boy (his best friend there!) keeps trying to be the teacher.... bossing him about etc. I was mortified! boys are soooo much different to girls :/ How are you feeling hun? she was a little more friendly, although I hardly spoke to her, I don't trust a thing she says! The only reason I went was to see the HB she tried to say that it was still measuring 2 weeks behind, I just nodded at her with raised eyebrows thinking, 1. at my private scan on Friday I was measuring 2 days ahead & 2. you would NOT see a heartbeat at 5 weeks! xxx
Hi Jellyfish - good luck with your stimming, try not to worry about not producing enough follies, I was exactly like that & produced enough in the end xxx
Mixedspice - It is awful what has happened on your AS thread BUT your mum is right...... please try not to worry, happy mummy, happy baby  although I do know what you're going through, I did not relax until I was 12 weeks, It's like I was holding my breath the whole time & finally exhaled at my 12 week scan & then I really enjoyed my pregnancy xxx

Noggin, just thought I'd pop on and see how you are getting on? Have you managed to avoid testing again so far? I had to laugh at the story about Joshua although it's not really funny but I could imagine my nephew doing exactly he same thing the behaving like butter wouldn't melt afterwards! Hopefully it's just a one-off!
Jellyfish, good luck with the stimming, I think it's only natural to worry about to getting enough, I was exactly the same! Have you got an idea when EC wll be yet?

Well I tested just now and despite Joshua drama's and I've moved up to 3+ weeks Yay!!
Saw How are you getting on with having DH home? I also had a clueless GP when I asked about having blood tests done again. She kept insisting I needed FSH on day 21 and I was sure it was day 2 to 4...
Joshua has been good as gold these last 2 days (nursery staff called him an angel this morning) He played with 2 girls this afternoon not an aggressive move in sight!!

Mixed spice onwards and upwards how's your DS these days?
I found out one of my patients is a nurse specialising in cognitive (?) behaviour in children and autistic kids. She was saying he's too young for naughty step etc and explaining it's not nice to hurt his friends etc and to say sorry as he just ends up getting more attention and sorry doesn't have any meaning. Also if a child bites you don't pull that child away but push them into the bite as they'll automatically open their mouth. She reckons joshua was bored/under stimulated and needs more to keep him and his hands busy. To be fair that's just what they've been doing at nursery. We're now getting him ready for bed earlier so he's asleep by 7.30pm!
