We had our scan today and all was great (in fact baby was measuring 6 days ahead) Had a grumpy sonographer who wasn't happy at letting both IPs in but reluctantly agreed this is the first time they have been pregnant so it was lovely to see their excitement and of course I am over the moon! So no more drugs for me and hopefully a problem free pregnancy I just can't wait too see them with their baby! |

Awwwwhh Fidyo, it has made me emotional just imagining how thrilled your IPs were at the scan.
Hope you have a healthy, stress-free rest of the pregnancy. You are doing an amazing 'job'.
Love,
Maple

Just got back from holiday this morning and popped in to see if Fran had any news and what a lovely surprise!!!!!!!! So happy for you honey, I had a sneaky feeling you would get a BFP with the symptoms you were describing. Let us know when you've booked your scan.
I'm going to give the clinic a ring on Monday to get an update, hoping I can start again soon...

Thanks Alice and welcome back. Hope you had a wonderful time?
So pleased, but quietly pleased, very frightened of it going away.
Booked our scan with Care for 1st of May, which now seems ages away... Will just plough in though, have waited this long surely another 2 weeks is doable!
How is everyone? Xxx |

Hi Alice,
Nauseous, knackered and unbelievably sore boobs. All great signs I think!!
My scan is two weeks today, can't wait! Haven't done any tests since my OTD, managed to resist the temptation, not least because I really do feel pregnant.
How are you darling, any news yet?

Those are great signs Fran and I bet its so reassuring to have those symptoms and to feel pregnant.
Hope the next two weeks fly by, are you managing to keep busy?
I spoke to the co-ordinator on Monday and she said that I'm at the top of the list and she is expecting to have a couple of donors to offer in the next couple of weeks. I'm so desperate to get started now, feel like I'll accept anyone!
Anyway, I'll keep you posted and when I know when I'm starting I'll probably start another thread!
Take care of yourself and your precious cargo.

Hi Alice,
That's great news; so cool that they have such a fast turnaround eh? Hope you're not yet at the stage when you jump every time the phone rings!!
As for me, I'm sleeping wherever possible and shovelling food in to stop the nausea, I'm going to be the size of a house. Only another 10 days or so until our scan; very excited about that.
Really missing my sports but know it'll be worth it and I'll be very motivated to go back and play again in January.
How are the other ladies on here? Fidyro? Caroline? Maple and Tracey? What's happening with you guys?

| Ps also wanted to say that DH is ecstatic I feel so pukey, it's very sweet in a weird kind of way. It's been his birthday this week and he's had 'the best present ever', in his words! |

I'm glad you're pukey and tired too Fran! I know how reassuring it is and its hard enough waiting without having to desperately search for symptoms.
I don't think I'll reach the 'jumping every time the phone rings' stage until later next week. I can't help but feel slightly doubtful that it really will be as soon as I was told. When I initially spoke to them they said it was a 2-3 week wait and that was over two months ago! But I also know how lucky I am that it hopefully wont be too long. Just reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally need to get on with it and have something to focus on as I'm starting to feel a bit low again. Maybe I'm just missing the sunshine...
Hoping the next 10 days fly by for you Fran.
Hope everyone else is ok too,
Alice x |

Hi Everyone,
I'm jumping on this thread very late in the game so feel a bit cheeky. I've been following it for a few weeks now and wish i'd jumped on sooner but I guess I was a bit nervous, being right in the middle of treatment.
Anyway, I'm now in the very lucky position of having my scan very soon after testing positive, and realise I'm scared s******s! I'm also very excited, but after reading a few stories on some of the threads I realise what a long way to go it is and all the hurdles that may be to come. Basically, I think I'm panicking and suddenly very overwhelmed by the whole thing!
Fran, I see you're in a similar situation, how are you coping with it all?
Anyway, one thing I am sure of is how amazingly grateful I am to all donors for giving ladies like us this chance, a truly incredible gift.
Pip xxx
