Oh Jaybee and SAW I am so sorry to hear your news. Its just such a tough thing to go through and even worse for you guys as you saw heartbeats which I never did. Anyway i am thinking of you as I know how you must be feeling. We are doing ok .. still having good and bad days. Freya has taken to talking about when she has a brother which I am finding VERY tough. However time is a huge healer and I am already able to look at the positives and how lucky I am having one beautiful little girl.
Anyway sending you huge hugs.
Mrs C xxx |

Ah Mrs C that must be really hard, and difficult to explain to Freya. Hope you're doing ok.
Jaybee, glad you're not doing to bad. Deciding what to do next must be hard, only time will help you make that decision I guess.
Saw, hope you're getting on ok and Monday wasn't too harrowing. How much longer is DH home for?
How's everyone else getting on? It's gone very quiet on here just lately! I'm doing ok, just exhausted and quite often feel hungover all day which isn't that enjoyable! Got an appointment with the doctor on Monday as my midwife is on holiday for a fortnight so I want to get things moving with my 12 week scan so that should be fun!

Freya is lovely Mrs C, so you're right to be thankful for her, but it must be difficult when she's talking about a sibling. Hope you're ok.
You too, Jaybee. Thinking about you.
Good luck with doc tomorrow Josielil - could be interesting
I have a scan tomorrow and starting to get nervous now.

Thanks Jaybee. Went well, despite me feeling so sick on the way in - nothing to do with bean and everything to do with my nerves. Now discharged, but can't get even an initial midwife appointment until 29th.
How are you Jaybee? do you have any plans or is it way too early for that?

Glad to hear your scan went well Sal. I've got mine tomorrow; really nervous although feel sick as a dog which must be a good sign. I've got my booking in appointment with the midwife on Monday.
I hope you ladies that had bad news are taking good care of yourselves.

SORRY TO PUT THE DAMPERS ON THINGS, BUT JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW. I WAS RUSHED INTO HOSPITAL ON SUNDAY , STARTED BLEEDING REALLY BAD ALL OVER THE PLACE, THEY KEPT ME IN OVERNIGHT TO DO VARIOUSE TEST, THEN HAD A SCAN THE NEXT MORNING SAID THEY COULDNT FIND A GESTATION SAC AND THAT IT LOOKS LIKE IVE HAD A MISCARAIGE, I DONT KNOW WHATS CAUSED IT BUT I THINK MAYBE MY HORMONE LEVELS WENT LOW AS I COULDNT STOP BEING SICK ALL THE TIME, AND I WAS BLEEDING FROM TIME TO TIME. THEY HAVE MADE ME A APPOINTMENT TODAY TO GO TO THE EARL PREGNANCY UNIT FOR A BLOOD TEST, BUT IAM FINDING IT HARD TO GO AS WHATS THE POINT IN THAT AS THEYS NOTHING LEFT .
MY OTHER HALF AND FAMILY ARE ALL AS UPSET AS ME. MY PARTNER KEEPS SAYING WELL TRY AGAIN LATER, BUT ALTHOUGH IAM GOOD AT TELLING EVERYONE ELSE NEVER TO GIVE UP, I THINK IVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH, ANYWAY I WISH ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE , HOPE ALL ONGOING PREGNANCYS ARE WELL AND GOOD AND BEST WISHES IN WHAT EVERYONE ELSE DECIDES WHAT TO DO.
PS DO WE HAVE TO INFORM CARE WHEN YOU MISCARRY?.
LOTS OF LOVE LADY DIX |

Sal, glad the scan went well yesterday.
Liz, good luck for yours tomorrow.
LadyDi, sorry to hear your news, take some timeout before making any decisions about what to do next.
Well my doctor was nicer than expected yesterday, did take my mum with me just in case though! Don't know if anyone else has had to see there doc but I found it a bit of a waste of time TBH - he just took my word for it I was pregnant and weighed me and did my blood pressure! Waiting for the midwife to be in touch but she's on holiday till next Weds! Hoping she can get my next scan sorted for as close to 12 weeks as possible as I'm already 'filling out' and going to struggle to hide it past 12 weeks I would imagine but I'd just like that reassurance of another scan before I go public! I know that probably sounds silly but you read so many sad things on here that it's made me extra cautious.
Hope everyone's doing well x |

Ladydi I'm so sorry to hear your news. Take time to grieve & look after yourself.
Josielil - glad the gp was ok. You should be offered a scan close to 12 weeks because some of the screening tests they offer are time sensitive. |

Thanks for popping on Noggin. Sorry to hear your wine was rubbish - try another bottle tonight!
My scan was fine. There was one little splodge, with a heartbeat. Such a relief. Next is seeing the midwife on Monday. The nausea is getting worse but I haven't actually been sick yet.

Hi everyone. Sorry for going AWOL. I must have missed an email alert and stopped getting notifications.
SAW, Noggin and Lady Di - I'm so sorry to hear your news. I really thought that after all the heartache on the awaiting scan thread that the ladies on here would be spared such upset. I'm sending you all much love and hugs. I hope that you're all taking care of yourselves and that you will all try again in time. I promise to keep an eye out for you when you do and please stay in touch. Lady Di I think CARE should have given you a questionnaire about pregnancy outcome to fill in so you could let them know that way.
Mrs C - I'm glad that you popped on to let us know how you're doing. I have been thinking about you a lot.
AFM - had my 12 week scan on Wednesday where I was measuring 14 +3. I think the sickness is starting to ease but I have a virus at the moment and the cough is stimulating my sensitive gag reflex!
Hope you're all well. Will try and do more personals once I'm off my sick bed!

Hi Chestnut,
Welcome and congratulations! I'm also expecting twins .... Scary isn't it?!
Could it just be discharge? I've been getting quite bad discharge for about 2 weeks (I'm only a few days ahead of you) and it's totally different to the 'normal' discharge I would get before my period (sorry TMI!) Anyway I looked all over the Internet and everywhere seems to say it's totally normal!

Hi all
Sorry not to post for a while. Deleted my cookies and locked myself out:(
Glad scan went well Liz, and you too Mixedspice.
Welcome Chestnut - don't know anything about the discharge, but hope it's nothing to worry about.
Noggin, hope you're OK, and that the next bottle is better!

Morning!
Happy Friday everyone!
Went for my first midwife appointment yesterday, the midwife was lovely and I felt really relaxed with her only for her to tell me she's going part time in 3 weeks and will no longer be covering my surgery!!! Still at least she will be able to get the next scan booked in which I can't wait for cos it seems like ages since the last one! I don't know how people who conceive naturally, and don't get a scan till 12 weeks cope lol!
Hope everyone is doing well.

Mummies-to-be I'm getting worried as I haven't read any updates from you...
Hoping you've all had happy 12 week scans and are over sickness etc and starting to glow?
I'm good had medical management in the end and it really wasn't that bad. Review next month but looks like the placenta grew perfectly (hcg levels 65000 at 7 weeks) just not the embryo and as there was never a heartbeat and just a fetal pole it was easier to accept.
Anyway been thinking of you all
Love noggin x x |

Hi Noggin, good to hear from you - glad everything went as well as it could x
Jaybee, LadyDi hope you're both doing plans you get some answers at your reviews x
AFM - went for my 12 weeks an on Wednesday and all is good .... Had the Downs test done and so just waiting for the results from that but everything looked ok on the scan so not worrying too much about that ...got my date for the next scan so hoping to find out the sexes then - I know a lot of people like to wait but my practical side takes over and I want to be able to but 'coloured' things!!
Slowly starting to feel more human again now, not as exhausted or nauseous, although I've had to change my diet- can no longer eat chicken without throwing up which isn't great seen as it was the only meat I ate!!!
Hope everyone else is doing well and progressing nicely, it has gone very quiet on here!

Hi ladies. How is everyone?
Noggin - lovely to hear from you. I hope you're well and recovering following your loss. Any plans to cycle again soon?
I had my 20 week scan on Thursday. Everything looked ok on the scan. Sickness has now stopped - just feeling tired with rib, back and wrist pain!

Hi mixed spice,
I've had an update from you and Josielil which is great
Wow 20 weeks already done and dusted! When's your EDD?
Still waiting for our review before deciding what to do next. Just sorted my accounts out for accountant as I need to know how hideous my tax bill is going to be in January but will probably try and get an interest free credit card for one last go...
Thanks for asking about me just waiting for AF hoping the medical management hasn't messed my very regular cycle up! Joshua is saying more each day and is obsessed with curious George and the film yogi bear!
Keep us posted
Love noggin x x |
