Hi all
Just looking for advice really. Three weeks ago at my first DR scan i was told I had a rather large cyst. Well me being me thought I would have had it whipped out by now but as per usual i'm on a mile long waiting list to have it removed. Anyway, because I thought it would be done and dusted by now we decided to book a holiday abroad (for April) Now i'm worried it may rupture whilst away anyone else had experience of this ? What are the chances of this happening? Thanx |

Don't know the chances but they do apparently often resolve themselves. I've also got a rather big cyst which grew even bigger during my one (failed) cycle so far. After considering removal the Drs decided it was ok for me to go ahead with it (but egg recip so no stims) but know they kept an eye on it & suspect it's still there. Found out though that there's more than one way to try to get rid of them - so may be worth checking if that would affect waiting time. Also wondered if you are getting nhs or care to do it - care might be quicker?
Best wishes

Hi Birdie
It would be great if Care would do it but I guess that would cost mega bucks! Just rang the consultants secretary and she's not there AGAIN!!! Why does everything take so blummin long to sort!

| Just found out I also got one large one and 2 small ones - scary - and wonder if this is why my last cycle was so bad - no activity on right, only 1 folicle on left |
