Did my test this morning and got a BFP - still in shock! My scan is booked for 2 April so yet another long wait for the next step. just started to get a pain in my belly quite low down on the left so just hoping it is things moving and settling rather than anything nasty.
Anyone else scanning in April? |

| Hi Em - oh jealous you are earlier lol Not quite sunk in really was so expecting it to be negative this morning. Now going to be worrying up until the scan but reading some of the other threads does put my mind at rest x |

Hi there ladies, I will join you in the awaiting scans thread - yiphee! so pleased to have made it through the test hurddle. I thought my scan was ages away but not that bad if you guys have got 30th + 2nd. Care Nottm nurse was trying to get me in w/c 26th but fully booked so first appointment was morning of 4th. I can't rememeber which cares you guys are at?
What you up to today? I'm still in a bit of a daze after yesterday

I am soo tired not been sleeping very well, thinking too much did a preg test this morn just so we've done one as we had to have blood test not up to much today just pottering about, gonna go see my nanna n my grandad n that bout it really you ladies up to much? Xxx |

Afternoon ladies - just been out shopping and the DH has spoilt me rotten new clothes and a beautiful handmade candle table centre piece - such a lucky girl.
We are at Northampton and like Em still in a bit of a daze hasn't quite sunk in yet. I can't wait for the scan to see if I have one or two in there so for now they are the "bubbles"
I want to keep things to ourselves until after the scan but the weekend before we are off to stay with my parents (who have no idea what we are up to!) and I'm not quite sure how I can excuse myself for the time to lie down with the pessary! I wanted to just post them a scan picture with "hello nanny and grandad" lol Might just have to see if I can get away without telling them - still got a couple of weeks to sort something out.
We have friends for dinner tonight which I'm really looking forward to - the first time we are properly entertaining in our new home. Might just have to go for a snooze beforehand though as totally knackered now lol

Ladyluck, how lucky are you being spoilt, bless him
We are the same, we can't wait to as if there's one or two in there, obviously we don't mind either way we have called ours "jellybeans" he he we have only told my mum n dad n ricks dad so think we will be keeping things secret until our scan too aww that be nice just to send them the scan picture with that note on did you have a good night?

Morning ladies - had a lovely evening was so so tempted to blurt out our news but managed to keep off the topic of babies etc
My parents are going to be so shocked, especially my Mum who seems convinced that I never want children after a comment I made when I was 15 lol but then when my nephew was born in December she said something along the lines of you'd better get a move on time is passing you by - cheeky mare!
Beautiful day here so might take a walk into town later and pick up a paper but must do some revising this afternoon as I have an exam on Tuesday.

Hi you two,
Sounds like you've had a nice sunday in the sunshine. We spent most of the day giving my house a spring clean, been trying to sell it since last year. It's empty (as we live in DHs house) so wanted to give it the once over so that it's all sparkely when the sun brings out all those prospective purchasers!!! I'm hoping 2012 will be our year ...... baby + new home ? fingers + toes crossed!
Are you studying anything interesting ladyluck?

Hi MissT - well you've a good start so keep those positive thoughts
Not studying anything too interesting - I am doing my bookkeeping exams. Struggled with this particular module as the side effects from the injections really affected by concentration so just hoping I scrape through lol
I think DH is feeling a big neglected - asked earlier when he can get some lovin or as he put is "jiggery pokery"  I'm off to bed now and he's walking the dog

Was in bed for 7.45pm lastnight, was sooo tired anyone else getting up 3/4 times a nite for the loo can't stop weeing lol
Misst, in sure 2012 will be a good year for you with baby n new house
Ladyluck, j tried doing bookkeeping at college but couldn't get my head round it, so gave up lol good luck for your exam tomorrow my hubby is also feeling neglected too lol they will have to wait n be patient he he
How are you both feeling? I can't believe how tired n hungry I am, sense of smell also very good, no sickness yet tho xxxx |

Morning ladies
Had a terrible nights sleep last night - really bad stomach pains which I think was just trapped wind but I couldn't get comfortable then when I did drop off to sleep got woken up a couple of times by DH shouting at the dog to get off the bed, then I needed a wee, just get back into bed and the dog wants to go out (5.30am!) get downstairs to realise dog has no food or water and she wanted a drink from the bird bath arrgghh and to top it off I managed to turn the alarm off in my sleep and we were both late getting up!
Great start to Monday
Em - feeling the tiredness too but not the hunger just thirstier. I know what you mean about sense of smell - more sensitive and some things now turning my stomach like strawberry yoghurt and tomato ketchup.

| Ladylck, yes im getting fluttery feelings in my belly too, think its all normal as the embryos will be busy getting settled in there, i also have very sore boobies n very tired o and yes peeing alot lol but other then these symptons, im feeling great xxxx |

Hi you two,
Symptoms I can confirm the need to pee all the time (bizarre!), sore (.)(.)'s, and sensitive smell .... on sunday i went to cook us some bacon sarnies, the smell of the cooking bacon completely turned my stomach so DH ended up with double!!!
I called Care today to see if my scan could be pulled forward a week. Unfortunately they are choka block, the nurse did say we'd get a better picture a week later.
The run of BFNs really brings it home how lucky we have been so far ......

Hi MissT oh no - love bacon hope that doesn't happen to me would be really disappointed lol I did think about calling to see if I can bring mine forward too. Might just see if they can do the Friday before then at least we can have something to take to the parents for the weekend
I know what you mean about the BFNs, such a shame for those poor ladies I just can't imagine what they are going through

Hi ladies, how are you both doing? 3 weeks today for my scan arghhhh .....waiting + waiting.
I did another pt yesterday, no reason weird - had a 2nd pt in the box so thought I'd use it up. Digital one so as you'd expect it's moved up from 2-3 weeks to 3 weeks+. I feel like I'm getting fatter, is it my imagination or do you guys feel like you're gaining weight?

Hi MissT - I have a second test in the box going to do it on Friday morning just cos I can lol I've been keeping a memory book and I forgot to take a picture of the positive test to put in it so need to do another one just for that lol
Know what you mean about the eating - seem to just want high carb foods and I'm not moving enough to burn those calories. Want to go back to the gym soon and start a nice gentle circuit to get moving a bit but going to wait until after scan and I've seen the consultant again just to be careful.
The bloating seems to have gone down a bit which is quite nice - feel it more in the evenings at the moment and have a few belly twinges which are really strange.
Watch OBEM - not sure if that's a good thing or not but am now addicted

I had the same plan as you to test on friday anniversary .... but couldn't wait + had the urge yesterday. DH thought i was mad rumaging through wadrobe at 6am looking for the clear blue box, whilst dying for a wee - yes mad woman!!!!
I used to exercise quite regularly but don't want to risk it at the moment - my friend is a personal trainer and she suggested avoiding gym in 1st trimester (something to do with body temperature???) but that seems like a long time. I will ask her again.
