Hi ladies
I am currently 7+2 with twins I have pai 1 blood clotting along with high nk cells n mthfr. I have been told to start weaning off the steroids n the utrogestan at 12 weeks but I have been told to stop the clexane at 12 weeks but from what I have read about pai 1 you should take it for the entire pregnancy. I will be taking femibion all the way through. Please can someone advise, much appreciated xxxx |

Hi - I have this as well as factor v leiden so took 40mg all the way through. Due to the factor v leiden I got it on NHS prescription, so free, but the NHS ignored my PA1.
Congrats! |

Hi
When I was discharged from Sheffield at 7 weeks, I was told to keep taking Clexane until 12 weeks, then the consultant at my 12 week scan what to do. The consultant basically didn;t have a clue, so I am taking them til 36 weeks. I also would prefer to just keep taking them if it's going o stop any issues. Mine are also on repeat prescription from my GP.
Congrats on the twins

Em - I also have paI-1 and been told I can now stop clexane ( I'm 11 weeks) but like you I am worried about stopping as I know some ladies have carried on. I've asked the obstatrition at the hospital for a second opinion and they are going to look into it. Just paranoid that something will happen if I stop.
Perhaps we should be reassured that we have both been told the same thing considering we are also at different clinics. ( I'm Manchester)

Hi Anna, congrats on being 11 weeks I have my next scan on Monday 9th when il be 8+3 at care then I think they will discharge me
Yeh maybe we should feel reassured but like you said im also worried to stop it as some ladies have stated on it, I have got another intralipid tomorrow how are you feeling? You got lots of symptons? Read on the other thread that you have had a scan every 2 weeks, that's really good, puts your mind at rest Xxxx |

Em, good luck with your scan on mon. It's an an anxious time waiting for scans isn't it. My next one is wed next week which will be my nhs 12 week scan. I think once I've reached that milestone I'll hopefully relax a bit.
You asked about symptoms, I have had morning sickness but from about 3pm onwards until bed time. I've never been sick though just a sickly feeling.
How are you feeling? Any symptoms yet?
