Mr Philip Harris – Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Helps to manage the satellite IVF service in Bolton. He has a wide experience in all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology and the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. He previously worked as a clinical research fellow in reproductive medicine. He is particularly interested in the management of menopausal and menstrual disorders.
Miss Karen Bancroft – Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Karen Bancroft joined the CARE team in 2004 and supports the satellite IVF service in Bolton. She has a large NHS practice based in Bolton with experience in all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology. Her particular interests include minimal access surgery, management of endometriosis and conservative treatment of menstrual problems.
Mark Willett – Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Mark Willett joined the CARE Team in 2007 and supports the Satellite IVF service in Bolton. He has a wide experience in all aspects of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and has a large NHS practice based in East Lancashire. He has a particular interest in ovarian failure, polycystic ovarian syndrome and the interplay between obesity and women's health.
Sister Freda Blackburn – Senior Fertility Nurse
Has been qualified as a Registered General Nurse for 30 years. She has worked at The Beaumont Hospital as a Senior Nurse for many years having a particular interest in women's health and gynaecology. Freda co-ordinates CARE's patients attending for monitoring, blood tests and ultrasound scanning.
Ann Borton – Staff Nurse
Ann assists in the co-ordination of patient monitoring and her main interests are in womens health and gynaecology.
Theresa Orme – Patient Services Co-ordinator
Terri Orme started working at BMI The Beaumont Hospital in 1994, she joined the CARE team in 2004 to co-ordinate all the clerical and secretarial duties within the department.
