Dr Ahmed Omar MBBch (Hons) MRCOG Medical Director
Dr Omar graduated from Ain Shams University, Cairo in 1988. Subsequently he had further training in Europe and has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists since 1998. He is a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine (Ireland) and a Member of the British Fertility Society.
Dr Omar's sub-specialty training in IVF and reproductive medicine was carried out at the Assisted Reproduction & Gynaecology Centre in London. His most recent position, prior to joining Beacon CARE Fertility, was Deputy Medical Director of SIMS IVF where he helped to establish the clinic's programmes in the areas of reproductive immunology and management of recurrent pregnancy loss, providing a wide range of investigations and pioneer treatment in this field.
Dr Omar is recognised as a leading authority in reproductive medicine throughout Ireland and the UK. He brings extensive experience to his role of Clinical Director at Beacon CARE Fertility and his in-depth knowledge and focus on results complements the other members of the team in delivering the highest quality and most advanced fertility treatments for patients.
Dr Bartlomiej Kuczera Consultant
Dr. BARTLOMIEJ KUCZERA joined Beacon CARE in late December, 2015. He began his adventure with infertility treatment in 2010 working for the SIMS IVF clinic. His education and training is in the field of infertility following the standards of the British Fertility Society, of which he became a member in 2011.
Dr Bart's special interests in infertility are premature ovarian aging, and psychosomatic fertility. In parallel to his consultant position in reproductive endocrinology. He held the post of Acting Clinical Director at ZentraLab contributing to the development of novel laboratory infertility diagnostics.
He is a graduate of the 1992-1999 course at the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Silesia in Poland. In the early days of his career Dr. Kuczera combined his interest in theoretical medicine and clinical practice. After obtaining the specialist diploma he worked in the Department of Gynaecological Oncology together with lecturing human anatomy to medical students. Dr. Kuczera he is hoping to combine his interest in ovarian aging and recent technological advancements offered at Beacon CARE Fertility.
Pauline Cullen Commercial Director, Beacon Medical Group
Pauline Cullen is Clinic Director of Beacon CARE Fertility. Pauline has extensive experience in the operation of medical and ambulatory facilities having been involved in the establishment of Beacon Medical Campus including Beacon Hospital, Beacon Consultants Clinic and Concourse, Beacon Renal, Beacon Dermatology and DHI. All of Beacon Medical Group's facilities have achieved Joint Commission Accreditation Status.
Treasa Meehan Clinic Manager
Treasa has a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Diploma in World Religions and has a Certificate in Health & Social Care. Treasa leads the admin team at Beacon CARE Fertility and takes a special interest in each and every patient. Her strong interpersonal skills ensure that all patients are looked after in a professional and caring manner.
Judith Smith Operations Manager
Ivy De Cruz Lab Manager
Ivy has extensive experience in the field of assisted reproduction including a period in Australia during which time she completed her ICSI training in 2003.
Ivy has a Masters degree in Science and also a Masters degree in Assisted Reproduction. She has two diplomas in Quality management, Ireland.
She is also registered in the United Kingdom with the Health and care Professions Council (HCPC).
Audrey Wachter Embryologist
Audrey started working with embryos in 2006 as an undergrad in McGill University (Canada). She has a Masters of Science degree from McGill in which she studied the role of epigenetics in porcine embryo quality. She has been a clinical embryologist since 2010 specialising in embryo biopsies in 2012 and was one of the founding members of her previous fertility clinic's ethics comity board in Canada. She is a member of UK's Association of Clinical Embryologist (ACE) as well as the Canadian Fertility and Andrologist Society (CFAS).
John Campbell Lab technician/ trainee embryologist
Andi Neary Nurse Manager
Andi completed a diploma in adult nursing in London in 1994 and trained as a fertility nurse in the London Women's Clinic in 1998. In 2002 she moved back to Ireland where she continues to work in her chosen field of assisted conception. Andi's early career in this niche area saw her work exclusively in the role of fertility nurse and as her career has progressed, she has assumed clinic management roles. In 2007 Andi completed a diploma in management. In 2013 she joined Beacon Care Fertility as the clinic's nurse manager.
Melissa Mark Senior Fertility Nurse
Melissa completed her nurse training in Scotland, qualifying as a State Registered Nurse in 2008. She moved to Dublin and began working for Beacon Medical Group as a haemodialysis nurse. Melissa worked for Beacon Renal for 5 years then following a secondment to Beacon CARE Fertility discovered that she loved the fertility nursing and wanted to remain there as a Fertility Nurse. Melissa is a key member of the Nursing team.
Niamh O'Shea Fertility Nurse
Niamh qualified as a Midwife in 2012 and joined the Beacon CARE Fertility team in 2014. Niamh has a special interest in miscarriage, fertility and ultrasound scanning.
