NHS Funded Patients
CARE Sheffield holds NHS contracts with 2 local Specialist Commissioning Groups (SCG's) covering the Doncaster and Rotherham areas and also Derbyshire County and Bassetlaw/Worksop areas.
Patients wishing to find out if they are eligible for NHS funded treatment should in the first instance see their GP, who can refer them on to their local NHS hospital to undergo infertility investigations. If it is found that assisted conception treatment is required, the hospital Consultant will refer you directly on to CARE Sheffield provided you meet the SCG's eligibility criteria for your area.
Once referred here for infertility treatment, your NHS 18-week Pathway will commence. This means that treatment will go ahead within this time frame unless personal or clinical reasons do not allow it.
