Colleen Lynch – Embryologist and Molecular Geneticist
Colleen is an embryologist and molecular geneticist and a member of both the CARE Fertility IVF and Genesis Genetics UK scientific teams. After completing a degree in Genetics and a Masters in Medical Genetics, she joined CARE as an embryologist in 2004. This dual experience and education allows her to combine the skills necessary to both care for a couples embryos and test them for inherited disease. Her knowledge of genetic conditions and molecular diagnostic technologies has provided a solid foundation for the IVF-PGD programme. |
Mary Smedley – IVF Nurse and PGD Nurse Coordinator
Mary is the Nurse Coordinator for the new PGD service at John Webster House and is on hand to answer any questions patients may have throughout treatment. She has been with CARE for 5 years and is an experienced Fertility Nurse. In addition to her nursing duties, she is also qualified to perform patient ultrasound scans. |
Karin Goring – Clinical Secretary and PGD Administrative Coordinator
Karin is the administrative coordinator for the new PGD programme and will be the initial point of contact for patients wishing to use the service. She joined CARE in June 2005 and is Clinical Secretary to Nahed Hammadieh. |
