If you need IVF using donor eggs, our Carepay Donor Egg IVF Refund package offers you the reassurance of a refund of up to 50% of your costs if your treatment is unsuccessful. It’s available, depending on medical review, to women aged 49 and under who may need donor eggs for a number of reasons including age-related infertility.
The Donor Egg IVF Refund programme provides up to two cycles of IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) or ICSI treatment (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) using donor eggs. If the cycle(s) is unsuccessful, 50% of the upfront cost will be refunded to you. This means that if you need donor eggs you can access the treatment you need with a greater level of financial security than the alternative of paying for each treatment cycle individually.
*subject to medical review
** there is an additional fee for a larger set of frozen eggs or fresh eggs
Caremaps time-lapse technology
Normal cost: £960 | Cost with package: Free
Care Fertility was the first UK clinic to introduce time-lapse imaging, and we developed this into our own unique embryo selection model - Caremaps. This uses algorithms developed by our scientists and used only in our clinics, to help us select
the embryos which are most likely to have a higher chance of a live birth. The normal cost of Caremaps is £960 but when you choose any of our Carepay funding packages it is free.
Blastocyst culture
Normal cost: £520–£630 | Cost with package: Free
Blastocyst culture involves extending the normal two or three-day lab development of an embryo to five or six days. The result of which is a potentially higher likelihood of a live birth. This is included in all the Carepay funding package fees, saving you between £520–£630.
Our egg donation programme has always been one of the most successful in the UK. Each of our donation teams is made up of donation experts including consultants, nurses and specialist donation administrators, all of whom are trained to give the best advice together with streamlined care and support. The dedicated patient care you receive ensures you feel supported at all times throughout your IVF treatment with us.
IVF using donor eggs is similar to our standard IVF treatment. You can use frozen eggs from our egg bank or top up to a fresh set. If you are frozen eggs, the eggs are thawed when you are ready and fertilised with either partner or donor sperm. If you wish to use fresh eggs, we collect eggs from your donor and fertilise them, using the sperm of your partner, or a sperm donor. We’ll then monitor the embryos and choose the best time for embryo transfer. We can also freeze embryos for future treatment.
* if you wish to select additional frozen eggs or use fresh eggs, an additional fee will be charged
