Thank you CARE Sheffield
"Our recent consultation with Mr Georgios Petsas via Skype was both informative and comforting. Through having our initial consultation through Skype, we were able to virtually meet Mr Petsas, receive results, discuss next steps and have our questions answered. He explained things clearly and gave plenty of opportunities for us to clarify or ask our own questions. We did not feel that our experience or service was in any way compromised by having it virtually.
It was a positive experience and allowed us to continue on our fertility journey safely which we feel very thankful for during this time.
Thank you CARE Sheffield"
Danielle

IVF – in vitro fertilisation is a technique which involves collecting eggs from the ovaries then fertilising them with sperm in the laboratory. We monitor the embryos as they develop and then transfer the embryo/s at the most suitable time to the womb. We have been helping people have babies for over 30 years.
CAREmaps – CAREmaps testing provides an accurate way to select the embryos that have the best chance of resulting in a healthy baby. Designed and pioneered by CARE Fertility, the test can improve live birth rates and doesn’t involve genetic testing
Donation programme – Our fantastic egg donation programme has a shorter waiting time than other clinics in the area, allowing you to streamline your fertility journey. All our donors come from the UK and all treatments adhere to HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority) regulations
Same-sex couples – Our dedicated donation team have the knowledge and experience to assist same-sex couples in growing their family, including surrogacy and treatment with donor eggs or sperm
Genetic testing – The latest pioneering techniques are available to help you have a healthy family.
To achieve high success rates we develop a personalised fertility treatment plan for you based on your medical history, test results and which treatment which will give you your greatest chance of success. We have the expertise, range of treatments and the dedication to help you have a baby.

Did you know you can have your NHS funded IVF with CARE Sheffield?
You have a choice where you want to have your fertility treatment, whether it's self funded or via the NHS.
The CCGs (clinical commissioning groups) in the South Yorkshire region have differing criteria for NHS patients, you are fortunate in South Yorkshire as IVF funding across all CCGs is one of the most generous in the UK, currently. The CCG you qualify within is based upon the location of your GP not your home address.

We had excellent treatment at CARE...
We had excellent treatment at CARE Sheffield. The treatment options, costs and statistics for IVF were clearly discussed and our many questions answered, and we received excellent advice about our choices. It was a little more expensive than our previous NHS clinic, but it came with advantages. They were extremely fast in finding us an egg donor, which we needed due to my long-ago cancer treatment. And what an amazing gift her eggs were. Another was the CAREmaps imaging which makes sure that developing embryos are not moved until ready for transfer/freezing, with the embryologists able to watch the film of their development without disturbing. We were very lucky to succeed with our cycle, but even if we hadn't we would have been very happy with the care which we received here.
