IVF UK Treatment Cost

Regulation is a big factor. The clinic has to pay a fee for every cycle to the regulator, and all the regulations impose many additional staff, procedures and equipment into clinics beyond just what is needed to do the clinical practice. The cost base in the UK, not just for IVF but for medical care is high - but of course, nowhere near as high as the USA; and compared to, say some other European countries the UK has a higher wages structure and cost of living

NHS Fertility Treatment

If you are having NHS funded treatment at CARE, you will receive the same dedicated levels of support and care that we give to all our patients. Our teams are passionate about what they do, and we want to do everything we can to help all of our patients have a baby.

There are some tests and treatments which are not NHS funded though, and the other important consideration is that NHS funding for fertility treatment is limited and often depends on where you live.

If you have any questions about your own funding you can call our new patient enquiry team on 0800 564 2270, they'll be happy to help you.

Thank you for your interest in our Frequently Asked Questions section.  Please note that all the answers we give you are on a general basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without a complete knowledge of your medical history.  For a more detailed response, tailored to your needs, we advise you to have a consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists for more comprehensive medical advice.
