Female Fertility Health

Female Fertility Health

Fertility health includes all the essential elements which can impact your ability to conceive. Endometrial health, ovulatory issues and your immune system are all critical factors which can affect fertility and potential success when you’re having IVF.  It’s important to have an understanding of these and their potential impact on your overall reproductive health when we’re planning your fertility treatment.

Embryo implanting into womb

Endometrial receptivity analysis (ERA) is a way of finding out when the lining of the womb – known as the endometrium - is most receptive. This helps us to decide a time for your embryo transfer that’s most likely to result in success.

EMMA and ALICE are screening tests that assess bacteria in the uterine cavity. The EMMA test includes a complete screen of endometrial bacteria, including those affecting fertility. ALICE looks for 8 bacteria that are potentially harmful to embryos.
