• Care has many fertility ‘world firsts’.
• Our scientists and clinicians lead the field with their dedication to research and development. Our current work on time lapse imaging and artificial intelligence is a key reason for our scientific leaders being invited to present on the international stage. 
• Care leads in training of specialist staff. We have been responsible for the highest proportion of graduates from the scientist training program (STP), outside of the NHS, for several years. We have a dedicated training facility and have number of a PhD students.
• We have established a Masters degree in clinical embryology in collaboration with Liverpool John Moore's University.

Our doctors and scientists have always been at the forefront of IVF science and development; our founder Professor Simon Fishel, was part of the team involved in the birth of the world’s first IVF baby, Louise Brown, in 1978.
In the decades since, our teams have worked to pioneer more effective fertility treatments and support more patients than ever before, introducing techniques like Care-maps and chromosome screening that can help to improve our patients’ chances of success.

We know that every patient that comes to us has individual needs. That’s why, when you have treatment with Care, we’ll develop a personalised treatment plan - we’ll closely review your medical history and any existing test results, suggesting further tests in more complex cases to ensure we get a complete picture of your health and fertility.

Then, we can use all the information we have to propose the right treatments for you. We offer a huge range of treatments and additional procedures including IUI, IVF, and ICSI as well as pioneering genetic techniques, which allow us to check for genetic illnesses and conditions, or examine embryos on a genetic level to decide which are best for transfer.

Our laboratories

Our laboratories are absolutely critical to our treatments. That's why it’s so important that they’re the very best they can be. We’ve designed our embryology labs ourselves to exact specifications and with the most advanced state-of-the-art equipment and incubators, ensuring our scientists have the perfect environment to create and care for your embryos.

World class training

We’re also the only fertility clinic in the UK to have invested in dedicated training facilities, which means our embryologists are able to step out of the clinical lab and into a space that’s been purpose-designed for the training and development of our teams
Our training suite is a state of the art facility for training and educating in IVF technologies. It has a large laboratory area, for technical and hands-on training as well as a zone for lectures and focus groups with audio visual equipment, including a live link up to our on site clinical laboratory.
