Dr. Madhurima Rajkhowa MD FRCOG, is the Medical Director at CARE Birmingham. She is a Consultant Gynaecologist and trained subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine. She has over 20 years’ experience within the field of Fertility and Assisted Conception, both in the NHS as well as the Private sector. In 2002 she was appointed Consultant Gynaecologist and Lead for Fertility Services at Ninewells Hospital in Scotland, and has been Clinical Lead for the Fertility and Assisted Conception Services at Birmingham Women’s Hospital since 2009.
She brings a wealth of experience in managing all aspects of subfertility, reproductive health and assisted conception treatment for couples with problems conceiving. Dr Rajkhowa provides an informed and dedicated service with compassion and empathy, whether you are undergoing treatment for the first time, or with a more complex history. She specialises in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Pre implantation Diagnosis and Screening.
She has been a Reproductive Medicine subspecialist member of the Subspecialty Training Committee of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and is the training programme director for the region.
She is an active member of the British Fertility Society, and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and has published widely in peer reviewed journals in this field.
During the course of her career, Dr Rajkhowa has received several clinical excellence awards.
