Dr Hany Shah is a Consultant at Care Tamworth
Dr Shah has been working within the field of Fertility and Assisted Conception since 2004, both in the NHS as well as the private sector. In 2005 he was appointed as clinical research fellow at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, then as speciality doctor in fertility since 2007.
He is a highly experienced clinician and has a special interest in the following areas: the treatment of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome, those with reduced ovarian reserve, male factor subfertility and those patients who have experienced recurrent implantation failure. He is a keen advocate of personalising patient protocols and optimising treatment success for patients.
He is passionate about teaching and training and has mentored sub speciality trainees in Reproductive Medicine, to improve their surgical skills in areas such as egg collection and difficult embryo transfers including transmyometrial transfer and testicular biopsy.
