Mr Wilcox is CARE’s Group Medical Director. He trained in Bristol, Nottingham and Hong Kong before becoming a full-time NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Tunbridge Wells in 1995. He later took up the post of Clinical Director of Women’s and Sexual Health for the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. During his time there, he also co-founded the IVF clinic that later became CARE Tunbridge Wells in 2014.
Mr Wilcox now works in non-clinical practice as the CARE Group’s Medical Director, managing and directing the group’s local Medical Directors and coordinating CARE’s clinical activities to ensure that every patient receives the best medical care, resulting in excellent clinical experiences and the best possible results. In his additional role of CARE’s GMC Responsible Officer, Mr Wilcox is responsible for ensuring CARE’s doctors fulfil all of the requirements of the GMC.
Mr Wilcox also works closely with CARE’s other Directors in order to formulate strategy, and to develop and expand the Group, helping more people across the UK access exceptional reproductive care.
Mr Wilcox is currently directing the CARE London medical team.
